We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Boyne City! Chris’ place was clean and cozy after a day out on the ski slopes. We appreciated the use of labels in places so we would know what switches went to what lights/fans! Chris was quickly responsive when we wanted to add guests to the listing, and this place was a super close walk to downtown/the lake, which would be awesome in the summer. The neighborhood was very safe as well. We accidentally parked on the street, and a kind policeman let us know we needed to move our car, without giving us a ticket or towing.

We had a great weekend stay here with our two kids and our pup . Perfect location for skiing and access to town. The house is thoughtfully appointed and cozy. Great weekend getaway!

Carol was absolutely fabulous to rent from & work with on all the details. We highly recommend her place & looking forward to heading back again!

Great place to stay! As a group of ski patrollers we really enjoyed and appreciated the boot dryers. Easy drive to Nubs. And Jason was very easy to communicate with and was very prompt at answering any messages. Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

Our family had a perfect stay here. The accommodations surpassed our expectations. We felt like right at home here during our entire stay.

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

Absolutely loved staying here! We just did a three day two night stay. Being able to leave our dog at the Airbnb while we went to Boyne and Gaylord was perfect. The fireplace was so nice to turn on while warming up after spending the afternoon at Boyne. Our hosts were quick to respond and help us with anything we reached out about. They absolutely went above and beyond. We are already talking about potentially coming back in the fall some time.

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Great getaway! We were fortunate enough to wake up to a foot of fresh a now our first morning there. Made for a great time. The place is clean and quiet. We as a family made a lot of memories in the game room. Great place to stay!

We had a great stay, the listing was just as described. Comfortable, clean and close to the pool/playground- perfect for our young kids. Perfect location for skiing. Crystal was very responsive and made sure we had a smooth check-in and had everything we needed. Will definitely visit again!

Brielle was very responsive and was even able to get us early check-in. The place is nice and close to downtown Harbor Springs.

We had an amazing family vacation at the “Beach House”. My family loved this area on Long Lake. The beach is very private , and we used it everyday. The beach also has a small fire pit, with a larger fire area up by the cabin. It’s a 16 minute drive into Cheboygan. Where their are many shops, and Restaurants. Cheboygan also has a beautiful trail system, with the Trail Head right in town. Our daughter ran on this trail at least three times while we were here. Makinaw City, and the Makinaw Bridge, are only 30-35 minute’s away.

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

Home was clean and spacious for our family of 6. Very nice quiet, private setting, yet located right off interstate which was great. Kitchen was nicely stocked with needed items. We were within 30-40 minutes of multiple ski resorts and Mackinaw City which made for a nice day trip. Definitely would consider staying here again for our families future trips to Northern Michigan.

It felt like the foundation was failing… floor was uneven.. bedroom door shut on it’s own…going in the bathroom felt like you were walking downhill…Drywall was put up without taping the seams or plastering over the nails…poor remodel work.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Laura's place! The property was impeccably clean, which immediately made us feel at home. The kitchen was a standout feature; it was incredibly well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed to prepare our meals with ease. My teenage boys particularly appreciated the separate suite, as it gave them the independence and personal space they craved during our trip. Unfortunately, we faced an unexpected storm that knocked out the power overnight. However, Laura was extremely responsive and supportive throughout the situation, checking in on us and ensuring we had everything we needed. Thankfully, the power was restored by morning, allowing us to make the most of our last day there. Overall, our stay was delightful, and I would not hesitate to return in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.
