Would book this place again in a heartbeat. Eleuthera is a special place that I could go on and on about. (Family of 4, 8 and 10 year old girls, you will have a great time if you have a sense of adventure and want to explore. A break from the typical resort experience). The deck on the back of Kathy's house, the view of the Caribbean (and the crazy bright stars at night), and the quality of the home were incredible. Kathy is a great host and Wallace was right on point on all fronts (we had a nail in a tire on the rental car and this legend dropped us off a different car, had the tire repaired, and swapped it out while we were at dinner like it never happened). Book with confidence. One comment I would point out for folks visiting the island for the first time, like us, is that there are fewer restaurants and creature comforts staying in the north. Governor's Harbor to the south is more populated and has more to offer as far as restaurants, markets, etc. if that is what you want.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, along with an amazing view of the ocean, this is the perfect place. Mark's instructions and guide were both incredibly helpful, guiding us from the airport to groceries before heading to our beautiful location for the week. Directions and instructions to get in were super easy. The cottage was absolutely amazing - we spent a great deal of time sitting on the deck or on the porch with coffee or wine, playing cribbage or reading. The private beach below was easily accessible by stairs and a great place for a walk with a cup of coffee. Be sure to make dinner reservations at The Cove, and arrive early to watch the sun set from the cliff bar during happy hour. Restful, relaxing, comfortable, wonderful.

The Swell Cottage is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to enjoy nature and detaching from the typical hustle and bustle. The eco friendly cottage has all standard amenities and the beachfront area is even more beautiful than the photos. Although tucked back on a dirt road, the house is easily accessible to groceries and more. Jon is an excellent host, who is very responsive and flexible.

Blue Moon was an absolutely amazing right on the Beach at Gaulding Cay Beach. There are no other rentals directly on the beach here. The water was amazing crystal clear just a few steps through the coconut tree. (Not many bugs) We used the SUP and double kayak one afternoon. And everyday we snorkeled the rock everyday. Hanging out listening to the water and coconut trees in a hammock was extremely relaxing. The house has loads of books and a great collection of art. Daddy Joes was just a short walk down the road. Gregory town is just a 4 minute ride in the car. We are looking forward to our next stay. I am dreaming about that beach and hammock!!

Kathy’s house is wonderful. The design is reminiscent of Japanese architecture, and while different from other houses around, it is perfectly suited to island living. The view of the water is amazing, and the materials and color palette complement the landscape. The outdoor shower is exceptional. The kitchen is brilliantly designed and had every cooking utensil anyone would ever need. The outdoor grill was easy to use and clean. We cooked in several nights. The bedroom is in a loft overlooking the living area, with amazing views of the sea. Great king sized bed, and an en-suite well-stocked bathroom. Even the hair dryer is impressive! There is a lovely beach for swimming just down the road. Neighbors are friendly yet respect privacy. Kathy introduced us to Wallace, a wonderful man who handled our airport transfer, car rental and gave valuable tips on the island. Eleuthera is his home and he loves sharing it with visitors. This house is a gem - we can’t wait to return!

Wow! Todd and Mary have a beautiful home and we were so happy to have stayed there!! We loved the screen porch and it sure came in handy when the weather didn’t cooperate… communication was always quick and helpful! Hope to come back and visit again! Thank you Mary and Todd!

Lovely house, great hosts. It is pretty far removed, but we loved that. Hosts and property manager were all great. The island is amazing. Important to understand that the coast on the Atlantic side (where the house is) is not swimable and the shore is almost entirely sharp volcanic rock. But the actual beaches on the island are truly stunning.

The location and the view are awesome!!! The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable. If you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet, this villa will meet all your expectations! The road to get to this villa is rough. We rented and jeep and I was glad we did. You do not need a 4X4, but a vehicle with some clearance would be best and will also get you to different secluded beaches around the island.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a breathtakingly peaceful paradise. North Eleuthera is a quiet island with an airport and a small supermarket, and it’s almost deserted, making it the perfect escape. Diana’s house was the ultimate retreat. The bedrooms were very comfortable, bathrooms practical, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The living area was cozy with a large dining table for sharing meals. We even got to enjoy the eclipse thanks to the house's telescope! The outdoor space was where we spent most of our time – just a book, some sunscreen, and a setting beyond our dreams. A huge thank you for those unforgettable days, especially for giving my grandfather the best 81st birthday celebration. Don’t hesitate for a second – Diana's house was the perfect choice for an unforgettable vacation. It will remain a cherished memory for us!

As other reviewers have mentioned, the beach is particularly beautiful - it was for us a welcome respite after 3 days at Atlantis, and we enjoyed walking along it in the mornings before other day trips, or for watching the gorgeous sunsets. I'd also add that the Moonflower team were incredibly helpful in my pre-planning stages (helping me choose tours, find car rentals, travel options, etc), and were also very responsive answering questions when we were there. The location was ideal for our first visit to Eleuthera, mid way between trips to Harbor Island (which we loved!) or Governor's Harbor. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, and our teenagers really loved having their own space. Definitely recommend :)

The house is very big and rooms are spacious. Even if you book one room it is well enough for a family with children. Also, the kitchen and dining room are very big and have all needed amenities from coffee machine to grill device. There is a terrace on the ground floor. And there is a very spacious balcony on the first floor with a sea view. The house is located close to a power station, and its noise reaches the house. However, it didn’t really bother us at night, and days we spent at the beach. The rooms are cleaned every day (we stayed for two nights only, and on the second day found our room and bed done). The island itself is very small, and you can easily get to the beach within 7-8 minutes walk. Also it will take you only 5 minutes to a bakery, a grocery shop and restaurants.

Our family of 10 had an absolute great time! The location was exceptional! We were able to walk outside to snorkel, kayak, stand up board and their neighbor allowed us to jump from his designed cliff jump area. The sleeping arrangements worked well for us. We used the two pull out coaches for our kids to sleep on and it never felt crammed. One of the beds could safely sleep three as well. The house has additional perks too The house has games like battleship, risk, jenga, etc to play; it was fun playing board games with the family. The house has kayaks and SUP boards that we used too. If you want a fun, safe and relaxing trip to Eleuthera, I highly recommend this house!
