The house was very clean and as described, feeling even bigger than we anticipated. There were plenty of cozy towels and the beds were comfortable. My three suburban kids loved running around on the property and relaxing in the hot tub. We enjoyed the proximity to family friendly hiking trails and attractions like Garden of the Gods. Thank you for sharing your house that my family could enjoy together!

Already looking forward to coming back to Angie’s farm. She was so sweet and hospitable. Location is perfect for hiking the Shawnee. I watched deer graze in the yard while I did my morning yoga on the porch. When walking the back field, the horses followed behind and walked with us. If you’re an animal and nature lover, this place will soothe your soul.

Alice’s place as so cozy and inviting. It looked bigger than the pics and plenty of room the 2 of us for 3 nights. If it had been warmer we could have used the outdoor space and it would have felt even bigger. We are planted based and brought our own food. I was a little worried about not having a full kitchen but there was enough space with a fridge and toaster. Alice thought of all the small things to make us feel like welcome guests. She checked in to make sure we were all set and had everything we needed. The location is very close to all the sites on the eastern section of Shawnee and close enough for a day trip to the western side.

Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Garden of the Gods area! The location is perfect, and the property itself is spacious, new, and very well maintained. The host is incredibly friendly and clearly prioritizes the guest experience. Thoughtful touches like a great selection of board games, a ping pong table, and even poker chips make the stay even more enjoyable.

Wonderful place to stay! Right next to some really great trails, and a very cozy place to come back to after a long day of kayaking, climbing, and hiking. Even go to play some old Xbox 360 games, and had access to an outdoor projector.

We enjoyed staying at Michael’s. The house was clean and comfortable and the view of the river is especially beautiful in the morning. Great location. Easily walkable to restaurants/bars. Location was also perfect for seeing the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock and Pounds Hollow.
