Beautiful home!! Pictures don’t do it justice! Lake view every morning was serene and gorgeous. Very updated. Large bathroom and VERY clean home overall. Carlene was a great responsive host and was very accommodating. Our new fav rental option in Baltimore!!

This house was amazing. I wish my family would have rented this space longer. However the parking is a little crazy not much space to park. I’m assuming the neighbors not too happy about the many different people renting this home be as though they made a false complaint to the authorities. I’m glad my family was able to have a nice stay in an amazing home. We felt safe in this home. I would recommend this home to everyone and I would rent again if needed .

The Dock House was a wonderful retreat. The views are amazing! The space was clean and comfortable. We felt welcomed and right at home with Gary, Diane and sweet pup Lucy (❤️❤️❤️)! Thank you all for such a lovely stay. We’ll be back!! Amy and Mark

Carlene home was beautiful very aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. I was a little hesitant knowing part of the property was gonna be occupied but that wasn’t an issue at all. We had privacy and it was secure. I would definitely stay again l.

Thank you Stephanie, we really enjoyed in your lovely home and location. We had flown in to meet new grandson. It was beautiful, warm and spotless. The views and surrounding environment was gorgeous, so peaceful, relaxing and welcoming. Everything as pictured ...top notch. Stephanie is a wonderful host and especially was so kind and was able to extended our stay after flight change from DC airport. Would definitely would come back for multiple visits and stay again. the only reason I gave a 3star for cleanliness is bc of bugs but I want travelers to know these are only country bugs...crickets in the basement...stink bugs everywhere...tis the season, etc. We were fine with it but might be concerning for some. Despite, we LOVED our stay!! The photos do not do justice...hard to capture magic in photos ;) The nearby town of Chestertown is historical and darling and nice if you want to shop, go to a restaurant or sightsee. We cooked all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen with fresh produce, eggs and cheese from local farms and fresh herbs from the yard!We kayaked/canoed, built fires, played games, fished and hiked around property. Truly a lovely time at a special place.

Stephanie is an outstanding host, with great attention to detail. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The space is beautiful and the quality of her finishings in the home are top notch! The space is located in a secluded area in Pylesville, MD and sits within walking distance of a PRIVATE 7 acre lake that you can fish on, which is also walkable. We felt at home IMMEDIATELY and we felt a sense of privacy which was important to us. The amenities she had in the home were more than enough for us to feel at home. We had a few requests, which she was more than happy to accommodate for us. While there, we explored the towns local wineries and shops and had a great time. Overall, we had a fantastic time and we were humbled by her and her husband's hospitality. It's not everyday that you can see someone's pride of ownership and willingness to make their guests feel at home. We would gladly book again if we visit the area. Book this place it's worth it!
