Elk Ridge Cabin is such a beautiful and peaceful place to escape the rush of life, and to enjoy the sights and sounds of the woodlands and lakes in the immediate area. The green yard with its live pond is utilized by many birds, chipmunks and squirrels. They were very entertaining as I sat under the pine trees next to the pond. What a great place to spend refreshing days and evenings for a relaxing vacation!

Great place, near the hot springs and house was very clean and tidy. The couches were so comfortable! Definitely would stay there again!

The Hanley House was perfect for our two night stay in the Hines/Burns area. Conveniently located, it was the perfect launching pad for our adventures on the Malheur Refuge and a couple of trips to Crane Hot Springs. Their house is so clean, so comfortable. And they were quick to respond and kind to share local recommendations. We would love to return to the area and hope to stay at their home again. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful oasis nestled on a hill overlooking ranch with cows and horses with a back drop of hills in the distance. Spent a lovely and peaceful evening sitting out and looking into the far horizon of clouds and blue sky. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Not sure when we will be back that way but would love to stay again.

This place was clean, easy to find, and just what we needed for our weekend in Burns!

This was a great place to stay as a base for exploring eastern Oregon. The beds were comfy with nice linens. Shower was nice with lots of water pressure. It was nice to have the washer and dryer access. I had an issue with the heater (probably user error) and they were quick to respond and come by and fix it. Highly recommend this home for a family exploring the area.

We had a lovely stay at this rustic, homey little place. Cheryl left us some fresh eggs from her chickens and fresh baked banana bread! We loved watching the birds in our private back yard from the window by the table. The kitchen was outfitted with all we needed and there were lots of great books and even a pair of binoculars to borrow! We walked right out the door and down the street to some amazing bird viewing including snow geese, bald eagles and Sandhill cranes! A perfect spot and fantastic, helpful hosts.

Ann’s home was clean, comfortable, and private. We spent the weekend at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge and Crane Hot Springs, and Ann’s place in Burns was perfect to come back to and rest after a long day. Had everything to cook a meal, and be cozy. Would stay again!

This place was perfect! The open floor plan. The easy access. Everything was just perfect. My bed was so so comfy. Hight quality bedding and pillows made me feel so at home. We will stay here again!
