Amazing place, amazing hosts. Been staying at Merrijig for many years and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. Kind hosts with complementary food and drinks that were left for us at check-in. Very strongly recommend.

WOW – What an incredible stay! I had a special and meaningful weekend planned with close friends, and our time at Victoria’s Barn exceeded every expectation. From the stunning views to the spacious interiors, everything was perfect. The kitchen and dining area were equipped with everything we needed for a big group dinner – not to mention how picturesque it all was! The location offered quick access to town, plenty of space to relax and unwind, and we were even treated to the company of so many kangaroos – a magical touch. Victoria's communication was flawless. She provided a clear breakdown of bedrooms and bathrooms before our arrival, which made planning for the group seamless and stress-free – something I truly appreciated. If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a large group or family gathering, immersed in nature, Victoria’s Barn is it. Beautiful memories are guaranteed here. An excellent location which suits the needs for large groups of people - everyone was able to have their own space across the three floors while also meeting in comfortable communal spaces to hang out together. A great space with a lot of personality and a very responsive team - we lost power during the stay and the Bright Escapes Team was very quick to answer our queries and link to resources to help us out. A short distance from the town made getting around and engaging in what Bright has to offer very easy, but if you're walking or riding be aware that there are two very big hills leading in and out of the property. Would definitely stay there again, a great space for a holiday.

The unit was clean as recently been updated, with everything you need and close locations to shops and easy access to everything.

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

Nicole’s property is easy to find, well presented and with all essentials provided. Kids had great time with the toys. Comms were really good, she kept us informed at all times. We stayed at her property for one night on our return to Melbourne. Highly recommended her place! Will definitely book next time when visiting Albury. Thank you for hosting us.

Imagine a charming countryside retreat designed for a small family, nestled in lush greenery with a beautiful garden as its centerpiece. This tranquil escape offers a cozy cottage or tiny house surrounded by vibrant flowers, fruit trees, and winding pathways. A private yard provides space for children to play, while a secluded patio invites relaxation with morning coffee or evening stargazing. We enjoied our stay with our grand kids last week ends. Ronaldo’s place was amazing. So serene and in nature and yet only 10 mins from the main town. Beautiful location and so well equipped with wifi and all amenities you would need for a longer stay as well. We would love to be back someday.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

Charmaine’s place was perfect, she let us have early check in and late check out! She was super flexible with letting the in laws stay last minute, due to a personal concern. Charmaine was super easy to communicate with. Great location & clean property

Beautiful home! Very well equipped for a girls weekend away. (We are 50 yrs old lol) One of the bedrooms is off the garage/rec room (which is fine but wasn’t clear in the listing) and one of the “bedrooms” that sleeps 4 doesn’t have a door just a curtain which is again fine (and I assume a council planning requirement) but might not suit everyone depending on the type of group you are 🙂 would highly recommend and would stay there again

The outdoor shower and BBQ area were additional highlights, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious house features generously sized bedrooms and exceptionally comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the high country. Lastly, our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Five stars, without a doubt!

I had the loveliest and most relaxing stay at Jamie + Peter’s place. Sadly, I was very unwell during my stay, however, it is the most relaxing place to unwind, rest and recover. Everything is so clean, beautifully curated, and very cozy - the bed is super comfy. The eggs from their hen and the bread/milk they left for me was life saving as it meant I didn’t have to go out if I didn’t want to! Jamie was so lovely and making sure I was okay and if I needed anything, and is such a lovely human - which I didn’t get to see Peter much but I’m sure he’s the same. Djinni, their dog, is also gorgeous and so sweet. While my stay was short, it’s definitely one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at in terms of the beauty of the property and also the care of the hosts. I’ll be back again for sure ☺️

We had a truly wonderful one-night stay at this peaceful farm cottage. Even though it was a short visit, it gave us the perfect break to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved spending the evening by the outdoor firepit, it was such a beautiful spot to relax, and we were lucky to share it with Max, the sweetest dog. He’s such a gentle soul and he made us smile every time we saw him. We also enjoyed a lovely walk through the paddocks and got to meet some of the animals. Tab, the host, has clearly put a lot of care into creating a space that feels both comfortable and inviting. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it really made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, heartwarming escape even just for a night!

The property was stunning, a beautiful home on a beautiful farm with cows and free range chickens. Kids and I loved hunting for the chicken eggs each day and the swimming pool was amazing in the dry country heat! Sue provided detailed instructions to find the property which I was grateful for Google maps would’ve added 20 mins onto the already long trip if I didn’t have Sue’s directions guiding me!

Three couples booked the home to attend a friend's 70th birthday, which was in the same street, so the convenience was fantastic. We had a three night stay and loved the home, it provided great accommodation, verandahs for relaxing and the pool was amazing in the hot weather. We were able to walk to local shops, cafes and restaurants so didn't have to use our car at all. The home provided everything, we only needed our beach towels. Thanks Gabrielle for a great weekend, we would recommend your home to others.

Lovely place in a gorgeous setting. The sunsets and sunrises over the hills were amazing. It had everything we needed and more - comfy beds, deck with a view and the kids even braved the pool and enjoyed watching the kangaroos and alpacas.

We had one of the best holidays we have had in Victoria in this beautiful house and even better surrounds. Bright in Autumn couldn’t be prettier and Linda’s home was perfect for my husband and I, the kids and my parents in every way. We relaxed, ate amazing food, slept peacefully, shopped, biked, hiked, toasted marshmallows, swam, laughed a lot and just can’t wait to come back.
