Harrietville : locations de vacances

Our second time staying here and definitely will not be the last. Perfectly located in the centre of Bright with all that Bright has to offer, within walking distance. The house itself was impeccable, clean, comfortable and all the amenities you need to have a relaxing time away. Martyn is the ultimate host, always responsive, helpful and easy going. As I said, will most definitely be back soon.

What an enchanting experience! Exactly as the photos described, serene and secluded. Yurt was amazing, super cool on the hot days, then we had a couple of nights with rain which was wonderful and cozy inside. Everything you needed there - we stayed for 4 nights so my only suggestion would be if staying for more than a couple bring an esky, but we were happy to even have one. Shower was a huge highlight, along with the bath. Sharon was accommodating and warm. There are a lot of dirt roads around and access to the yurt is up quite a hill so I was glad we had gotten a 4WD. Heaps of wildlife - we saw cows, sheep, horses and even a few wombats!! We absolutely loved our stay and will always remember how magical it was.

The place was very clean and cosy.The aircon was needed almost every day. It kept the place at a very comfortable temperature.Also to have the carport next to the front door was for us very convenient.We loved the position of the house as it gave us the feeling of being in the country.Also it is inbetween Mytlefort and Bright,which is very handy.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Conveniently located a short drive to the shops and restaurants in Bright. We would definitely recommend Chestnut Tree as a base for going up to the mountains :)

Was great place to stay and very clean will stay again in the future

We spent Christmas at Priscilla’s place and it was amazing! The house is in such a good location - it is peaceful and quiet yet able to walk to town within 10mins. The house itself had so much going for it - highlights for the kids was definitely the trampoline and all the kids toys/books. For the adults it was the welcome gift of local coffee and red wine. Not to mention the very very comfortable beds! Thanks so much for having us and making it such a special Christmas Priscilla!

Stayed with Chas over the Australia Day weekend. Lovely little cottage, gorgeous views, walking distance to Whitfield and 5 min to a swimming hole at Gentle Annie. An added bonus were breakfast provisions and a coffee machine. The best part was the hammock - watching the sunset and then stargazing over a glass of complimentary Prosecco (a lovely touch). Appreciate all the local intel on wineries and attractions. Will definitely stay with Chas again!

Great place and hosted well. Activities for kids were great.

Lovely peaceful property well equipped for cooking, close to mountain bike park and distillery, and town centre, lovely big lounge area with comfy couches, good sized dining table.
