Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient location for anyone with activities at the University. Price was very reasonable, especially given the accommodations. Stayed two nights, but suitable for longer stay as well.

It is spacious apartment for my wife and me to stay in for the weekend with lots of nice amenities. Easy walk to the downtown area, massive bed, great selection of simple entertainment (books and TV streaming apps). The Berkey water filter was a nice touch too.

Our stay was short and sweet but Deidre’s place covered every detail. It was a thoughtful space with a beautiful view and we loved how walkable it was. Would definitely recommend.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Heidi’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to UVA, yet in a peaceful and quiet area. The amenities provided were thoughtful and made my stay extra comfortable, including a comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, etc. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience. We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

The apartment was spacious and nicely appointed with everything needed for a short getaway. Susan communicated timely information and instructions for checkin and checkout. A very pleasant place to stay when visiting Staunton.

I had a great stay here! This spot was exactly what I wanted and more! From the crystal lamp to the Cats of the World book, a lot of thought went into the way the place looked and what they provide for their visitors. I will definitely return here! 10/10 from me!

We had a great time at this airBNB. It was private, quiet at night despite some neighbors being close by. The house is better than the photos! It was perfect for our group getaway with the games downstairs in the basement. we explored local wineries nearby. would recommend this home! Next time we come back to the area we will try to stay here again! Lisa is a very responsive and helpful host.

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough. It looks just like the photos. Some added benefits: a gas fireplace that enhanced our cozy evenings, a lovely screen porch, very comfortable beds, and a pretty woods behind the house. The drive to UVA was quick, but you definitely need a car. Will stay again!

We really enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer! The house was spacious and had beautiful mountain views. Our kids loved the large yard and game room. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a quick drive to get groceries. The drive to Shenandoah was only 15-20 min too.

Robinson River Retreat was wonderful! The house was perfect, from big bedrooms to a lovely kitchen with enough space for all four familes. It is also incredibly priced. I'm frugal(some might say cheap), so it was terrific to find quality AND affordability! Laura was very responsive to any of our questions. Highly recommend.

A clean and attractive modern country cottage that is clearly designed for AirBnB travelers. Good lighting and seating. Lots of linens and toiletries. Firm but comfortable beds. A thoughtful touch is the bedside tables with reading lamps and built-in outlets, including USB. Good closet space, though no shelves or dressers. We found plenty of coffee, sugar, and creamer, and a few drinks in the fridge, though no snacks like others have mentioned (but that was fine--we bring our own!). Tons of outdoor space that is great for families, kids, and pets. We will hope that Cozy Corner is available for our next visit to the area. p.s.: Finding the property and entering the house after dark is a little tricky; we recommend asking the host for additional information if you will be doing that. And as others have mentioned, there does appear to be an exterior security camera, even though the listing says that there is not.

A beautiful home. The home is within walking distance of downtown, if you don’t mind hills, in a neighborhood of gorgeous houses. The house is well kept and has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Pros: This is a charming house, with character and lots of space for a large group. The view of the river from the house and deck is quite lovely and we enjoyed listening to the rapids and the many birds singing. It's a quiet neighbourhood. Hot tub was great & the entertainment systems (Tivo on big screens in several rooms) worked well for us. The pool was uncovered and looked nice but was (unsurprisingly) far too cold to use in mid-March. Cons: Bring your own cookware if you can, as the house is stocked with the AirBnB-typical scratched nonstick stuff. Hot water is not hot (perhaps turned down for child safety?). We didn't use the basement kids' room as it smelled musty; it looks like they're trying to remedy this with a dehumidifier unit so perhaps this will be resolved. Hosts were friendly in emails and sent all necessary information, but I didn't like getting a long message explaining why we shouldn't provide any negative feedback in our review here. I chose to be honest here.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We enjoyed our stay! Cleanliness is important and this place was very clean! We utilized the kitchen a lot because the food was terrible on the resort, it didn’t matter because we had everything there to cook. Great Stay!

My two elementary age daughters and I just spent three nights at "Osprey's Nest" and had a great time. The condo was clean and looks just like the pictures. My daughters loved sleeping in the open loft, and I had a quiet bedroom to myself. Bryce is only a 5 min drive away, and there are 3 restaurants and a general store within walking distance (or a 1-2 min drive). We had Detroit style pizza with a movie at the condo one night, and went out for dinner the other two nights. We also used the pool/hot tub at the resort, which only charged $5 per person for the day, and it was a great way to wind down after a day of skiing. Highly recommended!

It was great! I didn’t realize just how close it is to the slopes. We just walked straight to the resort. The people at the resort were nice and the random people we met. It’s a great spot to stay.
