Wonderful views from the cottage with a well kept pretty garden. Great breakfast spot outside on patio and wonderful braai area. We were a group of 4 and found the cottage spacious and comfortable. A good location for trips up Sani pass.

This cottage is really lovely, it’s a beautiful, calm and peaceful place - a perfect stop off for our long trip but next time I’d like to stay a few nights and explore the area. The cottage is well thought out - abasing attention to detail, including a box for the dogs (including treats, blankets, towels and bowls) a really nice touch. Also a pack of marshmallows to toast at the beautiful fireplace which is well equipped. Beds are really comfy too!

Staying in this little cottage felt like being in a hug - comfortable and snug. We could not get enough of the view from the lounge. The decor is both stylish and invitingly cozy. We have a new Midlands-fave. An extra is the fact that this gem is so close to many of our family favourite foodie places….. PS: we loved how Fortunate switched on the heaters for our later than planned arrival.

A charming and rustic cottage that is very well equipped. Peta was very helpful and the surrounding area is truly beautiful- absolutely worth visiting. We stayed 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer! Lots to do in the area and beautiful valley and farm view from the verandah.

Hum Lilly is a fabulous Airbnb set right next to a clear lake with a drive through a small tree forest to get there . It is peaceful and relaxing . The cottage feels like home away from home with lovely decor and comfortable beds . It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The dishwasher and washing machine were a great help . It is sent in the perfect place in the Midlands to enjoy fishing on your doorstep as well as cycling in the area . We will definitely be back someday . I can honestly say that this cottage, its location (both isolated and near a good town, with many natural attractions) is absolutely perfect for whatever type of holiday one chooses. Robyn, herself, is amazing! So extremely helpful. She kindly searched if there were any road closures affecting my long journey to Underberg (R56). Everything is as described. Personally, I found it all even better. The lovely thatched roof cottage has so much useable space (both inside and out). Excellent for one person (as in my case), couples, families or even a group of friends. The drive into the property is half the fun - crossing a small stream was an added bonus. While in the area, I highly recommend driving up (and down) the Sani Pass - with an SUV (can be a 4x2 as I had); along with venturing into Lesotho - the newly finished highway is fabulous for about 60 kms (into the first major town). Try not to miss out on this spectacular scenery. On a sunny day this entire area is paradise

This is a really convenient and comfortable stay for anyone visiting Underberg. It’s close to the main attractions and a perfect stay for canoeing and cycling enthusiasts.

Certainly a paradise that’s far far away from any form of distraction or noise. A safe-haven and special spot to recover, rejuvenate, and renew. Loved the complimentary fresh fruit, tea, and rusks. Morning walks were special on the property, and I spent the entire day outside writing and breathing in the fresh air. What a gem!

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Di's place. Beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen with sharp knives! Dreamy garden with lots of little 'garden rooms' for a morning coffee or sundowner. Then, to top it off, a delivery of freshly baked muffins with farm butter every morning. Thank you Di, we had a very special stay with you, will most certainly be back when we are next in the Midlands.

We stayed at Cindy's place for a wedding in the area. Cindy and family are extremely friendly and welcoming. The accomodation is very close to The Secret Garden Wedding venue. The farm is safe, secure and private. It truly feels like a home away from home. The patio in particular is absolutely beautiful. You will want to spend many hours taking in the cool air with your morning coffee or afternoon sundowners. We wish we had more time to spend relaxing on the farm before the weekend was over. Be sure to check out the farmstall for some good food and drinks.
