The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

The house was clean and spacious, exactly what we needed for our trip up to Tacoma to visit family. We appreciated the fully-stocked kitchen and toys available for kids. We also very much appreciated the location in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. During our next trip up to Tacoma, we would gladly stay here again!

Perfect home for the needs of our families. We were in town for a football tournament. Pool was fun bonus for the kids. John was very responsive. We’d stay again.

This place is so beautiful, well thought out, modern, private, spacious, very kid friendly(for real kids and us big kids too) and SO COMFORTABLE I almost became a squatter 🤣 (definitely just kidding) But seriously, I am probably going to be let down by any other Airbnb after staying here. We will most definitely be back! For anyone thinking about staying, stop thinking and book it now!

A great place for a quiet family weekend at the beach! We loved the ease of getting to beach, all the trails to wonder on and the hot tub!! We can’t wait to attempt a summer trip with better weather but even in the rain it was worth it!!

Laura's place was beyond our expectations! It had all the amenities one could want- and then some, beautifully decorated yet a livable feel. We rented this home to house us and some of our family for our wedding weekend- I couldn't have asked for more. The sauna was lovely after the cold plunge, our grandson experienced kayaking for the first time and was above the moon excited with his new experience! This will be a place we will visit again. Laura was very timely on all her messages, clear and concise expectations that helped make our stay easy and relaxing. This by far is now one of favorite places to stay!! My boyfriend and I had the most relaxing weekend getaway here. There were all the appliances you could think of then some!! That’s a big deal when you love to cook. The hot tub was amazing and pretty clean which was a huge plus. Tons of special little features you’ll just have to see for yourself. We will definitely be coming back.

My friends and I had the best time! We had 4 adults and 2 kids stay. We all slept comfortably. There was something to do for every one. The kids were very exited about the bikes and 1 of them learned to ride solo for the first time. We loved walking to the beach, the swings, finding sea shells, two of us went polar plunging and then loved getting warmed back up in the hot tub. We made homemade pizzas in the kitchen and loved playing Pictionary in the living room. The gated community in the woods felt so safe and out in nature all out the same time. The hosts have been amazingly helpful and communicative. We are already dreaming of coming back in the summer time. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at poppy. Didn’t run into any other people visiting during our stay and it felt very private and quiet.

Great location! Home was cozy and the fully stocked kitchen was wonderful to cook in.

The rental accommodated my family. We enjoyed our weekend stay. Beds were comfortable as well as the sofas and chairs. The problem we had was locking the restroom doors also the other problem we encountered was pulling out of the driveway luckily we had a small sedan.

The house is very well equipped & Troy is an excellent host! The neighborhood is very peaceful & Wonderwood Park, with hiking trails & ball fields, is an easy walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool table & spa were family favorites! Thank you! L&J

We visited Hank & Lucy’s beach house for a Spring break weekend. House is easy to find, and has plenty of room for far more ppl than our party of 4. Great kitchen amenities, even found syrup and cinnamon for French toast! Beds are comfy, linens are high quality, towels are soft. Spent our last night on the deck making s’mores & enjoying the hot tub. Loved all the seating options in the living area. Beautiful views all day long, but the calm early morning was the best. 2 Margaritas and Big Bubba’s Burgers were yummy food options. Do NOT miss the sea lions at Allyn Waterfront Park. There must have been 50 lounging at the end of the dock. Amazing! As someone else mentioned, the upstairs bathroom and double queen room may challenge taller ppl. We let our tallest kid sleep downstairs, so not an issue for us. Fully fenced yard except for water side, but our doggo is 14lbs so I worried she would find a hole. My only con would be hwy traffic, although not loud in house, ppl drive very fast.

One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! A little piece of heaven. Incredible views of the water and yard from every room in the house. Plentiful toys books and games for the kids- we didn’t even turn on the tv. The kitchen was a dream to cook in- very well stocked. Comfortable beds and linens very thoughtfully curated. Matt’s home is a treasure.

I had a perfect stay Cady Creek Cabin, and Karen was a very helpful and understanding host. I stayed for a month because I wanted a break from living on the road in my RV, and as such I had a lot of requirements for a place to stay. After I explained my situation, Karen was so sweet and understanding and I was so relieved to have a place to slow down and get the reset I needed. The house was perfect for me and my dog! It was spacious, and had a lovely kitchen and deck which was great for hosting friends and family that visited me while I was here. The view of the backyard and the water were *stunning* and provided the perfect background for my days of relaxing. My dog especially loved the backyard. The area is stunning, although I wish I had explored the the area of the Sound more! I spent quite a lot of time at Skydive Kapowsin jumping with some rad people in a beautiful setting (go do a tandem skydive - you wont regret it)

Place was wonderful. Many comments were made from all guests about wanting to come back during the summer. Everybody loved the pickleball court and multiple free to use games. Thank you for being such a tentative, thoughtful, and courteous host!

Lori's home was just that... a home away from home. Our bed was so comfortable - I actually want to ask her what kind of mattress she has there because I want one now! Everything was warm and cozy and a perfect time of respite from an otherwise busy life. We woke to several deer in the yard, including a buck! Even though it was cold and a bit rainy, it was the perfect backdrop to relax and take in a slower pace. The little market up the street had most of the basics if you did need anything that was not already supplied. However, Lori's home is STOCKED with all sorts of goodies and staples. It really was such a wonderful stay. She was also very clear on what she expected in regards to house rules and check-in/check-out procedures. They were not only reasonable but easy to follow. All-in-all, it was a lovely trip and I hope that she will have us back another time. Definitely visit! I'd like to see what its like in the Spring/Summer!

We really enjoyed our stay in Justin's large cozy home! The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and all the beds were super comfortable! My kids loved the huge expansive backyard, and enjoyed the water guns and silly string supplied for them. Justin was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was super responsive, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this home!

Absolutely beautiful views from this waterfront home. Plenty of room for our family of 5 plus Nana to spread out enjoying indoor/outdoor living. Well appointed including fun water toys ie paddle boards and kayaks. My husband commented this home being the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Excellent communication from Mike and Eva. Definitely would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Place was perfect for all 10 of us ranging in age from 6-50! Only thing we should have done differently is go to store prior to arrival. It’s a good 25ish min each way. This would not stop us from returning in the future! The house was spectacular and the projectors in both houses make a special event for movie night!

Comfortable, relaxing, private and quiet property! Best place to bring doggos, solidly fenced back yard and private front with a secure gate. You will only encounter other people if you want to! All the dog amenities and dog friendly space is outstanding. Wood for wood burning fire and everything you need in the kitchen and to stay comfortably. The claw foot tub is a huge plus. Warm and comfy, WiFi works well, all the doors and windows are easy to use with tons of sunlight but nice black out shades in the rooms. Beds comfy. King bed is a convertible pull out bed, queen was super comfy with an electric blanket. Big kitchen and good sized living space. Love the big front deck and back porch is covered. I loved the trail! Hiking boots recommended due to rocks and a little mud. Highly recommended especially if you have dogs.

Rented this hood canal gem to beat the winter blues with some friends and celebrate a birthday. Absolutely gorgeous views and spacious place! Lots of room to hang out and a great layout. We brought our own firewood and enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit. Perfect for a group!

It was so enjoyable to be right on the shore of Hood Canal. We saw otters hunting and eating just 20 feet from the shore and even a harbor seal. The neighbors are friendly, too.
