Great spot and memorable experience. We had fun by the beach front and roasting all through the night. Host was very kind and welcoming. There is WiFi available (which isn’t in the listing and cellular device does work!). Host was very responsive and answered quickly. She also had some cinnamon rolls for us and s’mores which was sweet of her. The hosts house is next to the property you stay in. The apartment/airbnb is located above a garage and has a nice balcony outlook towards the beach. It does give the illusion of being in a tree house. Overall location and beach front was such a nice and relaxing experience.

Serene, beautiful and quiet overlooking a beautiful inlet. Sitting in a heavily wooded section on Fox Island, this is an oasis for eliminating the chaos of urban life.

This place was perfect. Close to the water. Peaceful with beautiful views. Close to Gig Harbor that has many cute stores, restaurants, and breweries. We would stay again!

We had a great time at Dean’s place. It was as described and an easy walk to the waterfront where lots of coffee shops.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid cottage! Came for oyster season and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It was small, but warm, inviting and comfortable.

I stayed in Kara's apartment over the New Year's holidays, and it was every bit as as lovely as described. Firstly, the apartment itself is comfortable and spacious and immaculate. Then there's the stunning view over the water, the gorgeous, peaceful surroundings and proximity to Gig Harbor itself. On top of that, Kara is a kind and generous host and will go out of her way to help you. I hope to visit Gig Harbor at a sunnier time of year and I'd love to stay at this apartment again. Thank you for being such a wonderful host!

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay. We were in unit 11. Having stayed at several Airbnb locations, especially in some larger cities, parking can be a challenge with parking on the street. This location has dedicated parking, so it was never an issue with worrying about getting a parking spot at any time during the day. The veiw was very nice looking out on the lake. I appreciate the character of the home, which seems to have a rich history. Renu checked in several times to make sure that everything was ok with us, which was appreciated. We will keep this location in mind the next time we come to Tacoma!

We really appreciated this beautiful Airbnb in Ruston. It was walkable to Point Ruston and had the most beautiful big window and view of Commencement Bay. But really it was the little things that made our stay so lovely. The host provided binoculars for wildlife viewing, individual condiments (no one ever wants to use someone else's condiments), a sleep machine and high quality toiletries in the bathroom. My husband is still raving about the towels and the comfortable couch! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Mike has been one of the most attentive & friendly hosts that I have ever stayed with. They really make sure that you have everything you need, proactively checking in to ensure everything is comfortable for your stay. It felt like staying with extended family of sorts. this’s the fourth time I stay here and and we’ll continue to visit every year. This house is truly perfect for a getaway from the city. We loved getting to sit by the water and listen to the birds. The house is well stocked with everything you could need, Thank you Mike for sharing your beautiful home 🥂

Celia, thank you for a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful outside and in, while also being comfortable. We were able to find what we needed fairly easily, and spend time with our friends. The kitchen had almost everything we needed (Please add a bottle opener!). There were instructions to get down into the boathouse and dock, door keys, etc. Loved soaking up the views!

This is an amazingly beautiful home right on the water. We had read about the views and the space and seen the photos, but none of that does justice to this location. We are a family of five with three teens and we were travelled to this area for college visits, but still wanted a spring break vacation. This home provided the best of both worlds - great location with the small town feel, mixed with the vibrant, peaceful nature we love about the PNW. From waking up to the sound of the water to watching the sunset with the unobstructed view of the impressive Mt Rainer this home is one of our favourites. Even the hike down was beautiful and our teens did not complain about the stairs (too much)as they said it was worth the adventure! Gig harbour is fun to explore and close to Tacoma. We appreciate how stocked Nikki’s place is with all the things a family could possibly need to feel at home. Nikki has truly thought of everything . We will definitely try to stay here again!

One of our families' favorite getaways in our 20th stay together. The location was amazing, the house was very large and everyone in our group had their own bedroom. It is very hard to find places like this, that blend a great location with a beautiful well-appointed home. Being right on the Puget sound shore was amazing, peaceful and relaxing. Our family didn't venture out much as we just wanted to enjoy the little time we get to share together. But, there is much to see and do on day trips if you enjoy hiking, boating etc. The house itself was great, large family gathering areas for all of us to sit and chat together. Game room and bar with a Nautical theme downstairs. The kitchen doors and cabinets were all very well marked where you could find things without having to search each drawer. 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 washers and dryers. We will definitely return in the future but will try in the Summer next time.

Place was wonderful. Many comments were made from all guests about wanting to come back during the summer. Everybody loved the pickleball court and multiple free to use games. Thank you for being such a tentative, thoughtful, and courteous host!

This is such an amazing property! We stayed here for two nights and we already can't help planning our next stay. It is a warm, cozy home with an endless list of thoughtful amenities. The view from the sunroom was gorgeous, providing an all-day activity of noting the birds and the water patterns. There is an abundance of seating options throughout the house and all were comfy. The tub in the bathroom is more spacious than the pictures show, and the water pressure is fantastic. In both the bathroom and the kitchen, there were all kinds of conveniences like plenty of towels, all the possible cooking supplies one might need, and even coffee and tea options. There were even warm blankets behind the couch--everywhere you turn there are the most wonderful touches of home. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and kind, providing instructions throughout the house and communicated everything we needed to know. This will absolutely be a repeat visit and we can't recommend it enough. Thank you!

One of the best houses me and my family stayed! You have everything we need it ! The view is stunning! Uyen and Chris house is beautiful we will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends.

Great space for a few families to all stay together! Everyone had a little space to themselves, and great hangout spaces. Kayaks and life jackets made for great fun on the lake! Kitchen was functional, internet was handy, all around a great place to spend the weekend with friends and kids! We had 3 6 year olds who loved the "bean bag room", and 2 2 year olds who were able to run around safely.
