The house was comfortable and quiet. The view of the lake was well worth the money particularly at dusk when the sun would sparkle across the rippling water. The kitchen was well-appointed but could have used some coffee filters or coffee supplies; however, the host had left bottled water in the fridge. The bathroom lavatory faucets needed attention. Overall, the home was as presented, the neighborhood was quiet, the location was convenient to town, and we had a great stay.

Everything was as listed. Nice and clean. Modern furniture, fixtures, and tile. Made me feel at home but in the country. Would stay here if I could every time we visit.

Chasing Shade was exactly as described. We’ve been going to Reed Creek for over 30 years, so it was fun to stay near the SC part of the lake. The house is close to everything. Even though it’s on a busy road, it’s set far enough back and has a huge yard. We loved that it was dog friendly, so that we could travel with our labradoodle. The decks and dock have great views of the lake. Swimming and fishing right off the dock was perfect. We even caught some fish! The kitchen and house were well stocked with necessities and more. It was nice to have inflatables and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable. Overall - a solid 5 star property!

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was nice, clean, and very quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was welcoming, and everything was just as described. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spacious home in an exceptionally tranquil setting. The amenities available in the home exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend this home and would love to return there if ever in the area again.

You won’t be disappointed! This is truly a great find! We highly recommend Janet and Craig’s Lakeside getaway and have already told several people about our awesome experience! I really wish there was a way to rate this higher than 5 stars… From the elegant furnishings, the private setting, the hours of relaxing by the lake, hiking in the woods, or trying out some of the local shops and restaurants, this is exactly what we were looking for when we planned our family trip! Janet and Craig were very accommodating and friendly. They were happy to help us with whatever we may have needed during our stay. They are very familiar with the area and all that it has to offer. I’m hoping that when we are in town again, we can stay at the “Lakeside Getaway”!!

Truly enjoyed our stay at Margaret's place. Spotlessly clean, and everything is very thoughtfully provided. Very generous check-in and departure times. Margaret went above and beyond to find out a good hiking spot when asked before our arrival. Morning coffee on the porch by the gardens was a perfect start to the day. Would not hesitate to return!

With the exception of me writing down and texting the wrong # in my phone and wondering why I was not getting a response...haha, Mark and Candy were very responsive. When I finally texted the right #, they responded right away. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt relaxed, welcomed, and at home. Candles, soft music playing, and welcome notes for us all made us feel like we were we we needed to be. I was in the area for a few days for a job interview and to get a lay of the land and this place made the perfect landing spot each evening. Mark and Candy were completely respectful of our privacy while also being friendly and responsive. My wife especially liked playing Pacman on the old arcade machine; took her back to her childhood. Thank you Mark and Candy! Hope we have the need and opportunity to stay again! Glenn and Michele

Great place to stay and close to Clemson! We were able to walk to the downtown area and felt very safe.

Al & Tara were friendly and responsive from booking to check out. The place is a nice size. Everything was spotless and the bed was cozy. The only thing they may have said in their description and maybe I missed it but there isn’t a kitchen sink in the kitchenette area. This was fine with us because we were visiting our son at Clemson and didn’t spend much meal time in the apartment. We highly recommend.

Super clean, comfortable bed, great space!

Yvette was an excellent host, the apartment was pristine and beautifully appointed, kitchen was pretty complete, so was able to make meals. It sits on acreage so there is lots of beauty and privacy around you. I would go there again in a heartbeat, had a great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Such a peaceful spot. We saw so many beautiful birds out back. And we were thrilled at how pet friendly it was. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was perfect after a 10hour drive!

This is the perfect stay for what a fisherman or Woman needs. The cabin is clean and decor was perfect and rustic with finished log lab countertops.The bed was comfortable. But the real thing that stands out is a covered boat shed with gate that can be locked. Deanna and her husband were outstanding and make you feel like family.Perfect stay

This host was wonderful to work with. They have been very responsive to us when we needed to contact them. Have been very accommodating to our ever changing schedule. This host has gone over and beyond to meet our needs. We highly recommend them to anyone needing lodging accommodations in this area.

Cozy country getaway! Jonah's place was the perfect amount of room for my fiancé and I. We were happy with everything that was included, especially the fresh eggs from their farm. We also enjoyed the fire pit as well. Jonah was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.

Everything was as advertised unfortunately I was there for work and not pleasure as I would have loved to access the dock and the water more.

Great little spot. Communication was great and everything we needed (traveling from CO) was provided. Dishes, linens and a blow dryer. We hope to come back

The cabin and lake is even better in person. I highly recommend for anyone trying to get away from the hustle and bustle to disconnect for a few days. Ryan is a great host, and the experience was amazing. 11/10

This place is a wonderland: such a peaceful, beautiful oasis . It was a rare treat to be able to walk from our cabin to a serene river within view. There were multiple places to enjoy outside and gorgeous views of the property from the cabin. The cabin was one the of the best stocked bnbs we’ve experienced and filled with character. Natalie was a very attentive, kind host. She even invited our family to come into the goat pin with her after a bunch of baby goats had been born. Kids loved all the sweet baby goats and came back to immediately draw pictures of their favorite goat buddy named “snowflake.” The stairs to the loft are kind of a hybrid between traditional steeps and a latter; very comfortable, but you just need to be mindful of where you are putting your feet (and remind children). Natalie had great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. There are some really sweet little shops close by. We’d love to come back and enjoy their beautiful haven again!
