Judy was a great host! Everything was as described. She reached out several times to ensure we were OK and even before our trip to make sure we had knowledge on where we were going. One thing I am extremely particular on is cleanliness and I was blown away by how clean the cabin was! Judy ensured we had everything we needed in the cabin for our stay as well. If visiting Mammoth Cave again, we will def stay here again! Thanks Judy and Greg!

The Captain's Lodge far exceeded our expectations for comfort and quality. We were excited for our stay based on the photos and description, but I feel they didn't do the place enough justice! This is a perfect spot for family or friendly get-togethers with plenty of hang-out space on both interior levels as well as outside, an extra large dining table, and a well-stocked kitchen with upgraded appliances. There were plenty of games and activities for people of all ages to enjoy and the small surrounding neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was very well-maintained and was incredibly clean. We can't wait to come back for our next stay!

Cute and cozy place to relax. Had all the necessary items to do some cooking and enjoy time together as a family. Games, fire pit, and hot tub were all great. The kids loved the loft area and climbing the ladder.

This home was a great getaway! Beautiful patio with a great view and peaceful neighborhood. I used apple maps to get there and it does drop you a few houses before the actual cabin but if you keep going down the road the driveway is marked well and easy to find. Jerry and Loie were quick to respond with any need while our stay! They do only have direct tv so if you are a tv watcher bring your own fire stick or roku stick for streaming! The hot tub was very clean, nice and toasty for the chilly days! I definitely recommend this home if you are looking to get away from the hustle of bigger cities!

Cozy, quiet, clean, and relaxing! The only complaints we had were that the hot water ran out before the bathtub fills up and we only had Wi-Fi for 1/2 our stay.

It was everything that we wanted and more. It felt Extremely private. The creek is beautiful. The hot tub was amazing. The theater system is phenomenal in the living room. Great stay overall! Definitely would recommend for a couple just trying to get away from everyday life. One thing I will say is if you want to use the stereo system that goes to the wrap around porch then bring a dongle and aux cord bc there is no Bluetooth. And bring your own DVDs or download movies prior to arrival because you will not get any signal. I liked not having signal tho because it helped me and my wife focus more on each other❤️

Awesome place! Very peaceful setting with an amazing view and surrounded by farmland. Close to Mammoth Caves NP and Bowling Green. Front and back porches really great places to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

It was my first time visiting the Mammoth Cave area and this cabin is the perfect place to stay if you come visit. Ryan was an outstanding host. Highly recommend!

Very lovely place! We spent the week mostly at mammoth cave and it was a great distance between the park and bowling green! Very pretty out door area. Would defiantly recommended!

Needed a spot on short notice to just escape the city, get some work done with little distraction, and this spot was perfect. Quaint and comfortable living space, slept like a baby. Plenty of places to unwind either in the house itself, the balcony upstairs, or the porch swing below. Electric grill was a nice value add, ended up making some veggies and steak one night. Only small feedback I'd give is maybe restock the spices, creamer, etc. so they're fresh and full for the next guest. Some aluminum foil or air fryer sheets stocked up would be nice too to help with the cleanup (I bought my own). But not a huge deal at all. Would book again in the future.

Beautifully lake home which was a reasonable distance to Mammoth Cave National Park. The host promptly responded to any messages.

What a comfortable place to stay! The beds were very comfortable and the house was so fun! Every where you turned you can find unique decorations and great art! And the 2 decks were very relaxing to sit on. Thanks for a great birthday weekend.

Richard’s active care for the land is easily noticeable in how thriving everything is at Creekdance. My son and I would have stayed permanently if we could. As I write this review, I feel I’m still there- wading in the creek and walking the trails alongside favorable company. Just a perfect place to get in tune with the elements and really appreciate how gentle and safe well cared for land can feel. I will return and I’d highly recommend those who want to experience beauty and feel recharged do so also. Truly full of gratitude- Thank you, Richard. ♥️🌀

Absolutely beautiful stay. Came out for a weekend trip with 3 friends and the two full bathrooms along with 3 beds(and couch) were everything that we needed. Plenty of space and such a unique home!! A peaceful stay around 45 minutes away from mammoth cave. A gas station and dollar general around the corner about a 2 minute walk away provided for all of our immediate needs. Was weary of the few reviews but couldn’t have been happier. 10/10 couldn’t recommend this any more.

Heather has thought of every detail to make you feel right at home. The cabin was clean, organized and included many things most places don’t have. We appreciated the outdoor fire pit and seating. It was the perfect place to sit, talk, have smores and enjoy the beautiful views. Heather was very responsive and helpful. When I needed to make a last minute change, she was gracious and understanding. We would definitely recommend checking out this amazing place.

This home was BEAUTIFUL! The neighborhood was quite peaceful and so relaxing. There was 9of us and there was enough space to spread out and relax. I would definitely recommend for big families. Hot tub was so relaxing and if you stay and a rain storm comes through it makes it 100x better. A couple nights we’ve fell asleep on the sofa outside and lightening to the rain on the tin roof and enjoying the breeze. Hot water on demand was amazing no one had to wait to shower ! Didn’t get to use the saloon but it looked fun. And host were very accommodating :) multiple washers and dryers was great for a huge group !

Great cabin, with such peaceful views/area! The cabin itself had plenty to do between all the games, pool and ping pong, which was exactly what we had in mind to stay put in order to hang out all together!! Everything was so well organized with great instructions. The kitchen and baths were well stocked which made it so easy to function as if you were in your own home!! Amanda was great and so responsive! What a hidden jewel!!

Worth the drive. Beautiful, quiet setting. Comfortable bedding and everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

We've stayed at a lot of cabins for fall and spring breaks with our kids & this is one of our absolute favorites! Everything was clean & comfortable, the hot tub is fantastic, and the layout of the house worked well for our family (kids in the basement, mom + dad in the upstairs master). There's an incredible amount of deck space (three levels!), and having coffee outside each morning was a highlight for me. The 18-hole disc golf course is a unique feature! My 7-year-old is just getting into disc golf, and we liked that we could just take him out to play a couple of holes at a time after spending the day doing other activities. A couple of things to know: (1) Grocery stores are few & far between in the area, so plan to bring most of what you need with you or to eat at local restaurants while you're out and about, (2) If you're visiting Mammoth Cave, look up information about the Green River Ferry -- not only is it a fun experience but it will save you a ton of driving time.

Trish was really friendly and she made sure I had several ways to contact her. She provides a lot of convenient starters like paper towels and plates and coffee, not just little samples like most places. The lake is beautiful and the fire pit was really comfy and the kids loved the s’mores. The blankets were really soft and the shower is really good! Thank you and I will happily stay with Trish again!!!!
