It was very comfortable - the hot tub costs £50 and we hadn’t realised. Would have expected the hot tub to have been covered by the high price point. That said, it was worth it. Our small dog (3kg) escaped out of a hole in the fence, that we had to block for the rest of the stay, but other than that it was super nice. Some outdoor heating would be a touch but the heated floor compensates.

Came to stay at Rachel’s for a month, whilst between houses and I couldn’t have found a better more welcoming place to stay. Rachel is such a kind-hearted, welcoming person who made me feel right at home - we will definitely be staying in touch :) The house is lovely, it definitely feels like a proper home and the room was lovely and spacious - not forgetting the added bonus of all her gorgeous animals! I feel so lucky that not only did I find a lovely place to stay, but also a long term friend like Rachel ♥️

Really lovely house. Deceptively spacious and perfect for 8 of us for a long weekend. There was everything there that you'd need. The hot tub and table tennis were a great feature too. Most importantly, it was spotless. I'd love to know what washing stuff they use because the bedding and towels smelled lovely! The kids are already trying to plan another trip. We had a fab stay here. Scenery was peaceful and pleasant. Nice walks nearby and friendly welcome on arrival. Quick responses to all questions we had before and during our stay. All we wanted in a mini break for New Year. 😊

Neil was a great and flexible host. We based ourselves in the Airbnb over Christmas and he made a special effort to make it feel festive, with a Christmas tree and decorations. On arrival he came to welcome us and show us how the stove and hot tub worked. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable and everything done to a high standard. Directions to the cottage were 100 % easy to follow. Highly recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights in this peaceful ‘Hideaway’. The views were amazing and the hosts were really helpful - we even booked a reflexology treatment. The home had lots of amenities (tea, salt pepper etc) and there were lots of books/maps to read on the local area. There were beautiful walks on the doorstep and our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing cottage, we got exactly what we came for, a perfect English countryside experience. The environment is probably the absolute best, the house is surrounded by walking paths, fields, forests, horses and other animals - it is truly beautiful. You need a car to move around, but by that multiple sights to visit are nearby, we particularly liked Henley-on-Thames. The outdoors and indoors of the house are also reflecting the vibe, the atmosphere is very much as shown on the photos. The kitchen is perfectly functional, the rooms' size and arrangement are perfect for 3 people, and the mattrasse in the bedroom is exceptionally comfy. A great plus that the house is also properly insulated and warm, which is a rarity! We had a fantastic time at Carina's (many thanks for the helpfulness as well!) and fullheartedly recommend this place.

The house was lovely, freshly and tastefully decorated, with all you need for a week long stay. Elliot had left a few food items and the kinds of things you need to make cooking easy. The garden was secure for our dogs, and the nearby woods gave us somewhere to walk them easily. Henley was just a few minutes drive away, and Reading about 20 mins, so a great location for our needs. Plenty of easy parking right at the front door too. We travel to this area regulalry and will look to stay here again quite happily.

What a great setting for an escape to the country! I already miss waking up with the chickens and pigs to greet me every day. I also saw more wild animals and birds in my walks around here in a week, than I have in years in London. Auriol is a great host, relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly, and the property is exactly as described and shown here. Tips for other travelers: If you’re a light sleeper bring an eye mask and earplugs as it does get sunny in the main bedroom. Looking forward to returning here!

Just spent 3 nights at Covert Cottage. it was the perfect location for visiting near by family. It met all our needs and Jonathan was a great host. We would definitely book again if we're in the area. Thank you.

Bar an issue that was resolved - the stay was lovely. A very nice cottage with all the things you would need to have a pleasant stay. We actually walked from Petersfield and managed without a car [so definitely doable]. Location was perfect for us - with lots of walks and the pubs weren't too far away. Elizabeth gave us a lovely welcome and it was obvious she really cares about her guests and their enjoyment. Would happily stay here again.

Great little find! Loved the outdoor space where we were able to sit and have food with family. Log burner was lovely in the evening and made it even more cosy. Shower was hot and powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will recommend and will definitely book again

Mary-Ann was so helpful prior to the stay giving recommendations about places to eat. As we were there during a storm, we lost electricity and Mary-Ann went over and above delivering extra blankets, food and hot thermos. She also checked on us in the morning and delivered hot breakfast. Simply amazing, especially when there was nothing she could do about the national electricity outage. We can't wait to come back!

It was such a lovely stay at Lucy and Nick! Everything was perfect and all the family so lovely and welcoming. The cottage, the surroundings, the animals, the region, .. I will come back soon for sure!

Hamis & Susie, what great hosts. We loved the cottage. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and so comfortable when the fire was lite. The cottage is in a brilliant location. We stayed with two young kids and a toddler, Hamis & Susie had the house fully catered for them (cots, beds, wooden train set etc). All I can say is our hosts were excellent. We have very clear information & communication from Check in / to check out, they helped us immensely with local food recommendations, local kids attractions & entertainment, added benefits is that the cottage is just a 2 minute short walk into Windsor Great Park. We definitely recommend the gorgeous cottage and we’d definitely will stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Julia’s cottage. The cottage had everything that you needed and was located in a picturesque village with walking distance to two pubs, the local shop and a butcher. The back garden was particularly relaxing to have a cup of coffee and relax. Cannot recommend the cottage enough!

Fantastic two bedroom property. I really recommend this for exploring the west end of the South Downs. We walked and cycled several sections during our stay. The property is finished to a high standard and is well equipped. It was great to have the use of a washing machine when we returned to the property with muddy clothes after exploring. We'd like to go back in the future.
