May is a phenomenal host! She’s very personable and attentive to her guests and their needs. I felt right at home, and I’m not just saying that, I truly felt at home. She checks in to make sure everything is going well with your stay. If I ever need an Airbnb, May’s place will be my first choice, and I’ll be recommending it to anyone I know.

We had an absolutely wonderful 9-night stay at this Airbnb with my elderly parents. The location was perfect—conveniently situated and easy to get around. The house itself was spotless, neat, and clean, with high-quality furnishings and incredibly comfortable bedding that made every night a dream. I was impressed by the thoughtful extras like the water filter and solar-battery system, which added a nice touch of convenience and sustainability to the stay. The host was fantastic—quick to respond and super helpful whenever I had a question. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch stay!

Wir haben uns in Chris Ferienhaus in einem private Estate sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt. Er hat uns detaillierte Angaben für den Check- in und viele Vorschläge für Aktivitäten gegeben. Das Haus hat eine schöne und ruhige Lage mit Blick auf den Stausee. Über eine Treppe gelangt man ans Ufer. Dort gibt es einen schönen grünen Fußweg fast bis zur Staumauer. Im estate gibt es auch ein Restaurant am Ufer. Das Haus und die Einrichtung ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gemütlich. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

What a phenomenal stay! The team provided white glove service and made sure we were comfortable with an early check in and even let us store our bags while we went on a tour. Dinner and breakfast were divine. 10/10 recommend Willems place! Thanks for everything.

Victor was an amazing host. I was there for a week and nothing was too much trouble for him. He bought some extra things that I needed - a fan, a toaster. Having Victor on the same property was also very reassuring as I am recovering from surgery and felt a little vulnerable. I would strongly recommend this stay as everything worked well and I felt incredibly welcome. Definitely would go back under similar circumstances! Thanks Victor

Leah & AJ are excellent, hospitable and accommodating hosts! They did everything for us to make us feel home at their beautiful house! They truly go for the extra mile and are taking very good care of their guests. The house is spacious, tasteful decorated and child friendly. I would absolutely recommend this wonderful house and lovely hosts!

From the moment I arrived, Lerato’s warm hospitality made it clear that I was not just a guest in a space, but welcomed into a true home away from home. The flat itself is stunning—cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything I could possibly need. The peaceful, upmarket neighborhood offered the perfect escape, and yet I was always just a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of Sandton and Johannesburg’s vibrant city life. What made this experience so memorable, though, was the hosts and staff. Attention to detail, kindness, and dedication to making sure I had everything I needed truly set this place apart. It felt like a place where every guest is not just accommodated, but cared for. It’s rare to feel such a sense of belonging when staying away from home, but I truly did here. I’ve already reserved this amazing home away from home for 2 more stays in 2025.

Great spot,, spacious, homely and has everything you need! Back up power was a great help. Miguel and Daniela are excellent hosts and made our stay easy and stress free. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed with our puppy one night at Philips place! Very nice cottage with a beautiful little garden, perfect for our puppy! It's located in a very nice area of Irene! I can definitely recommend this place when one needs something in that area!

The duplex was modern fantastic with great features and finishes everywhere. There is lots of space and everything incredibly clean. The backyard is so peaceful and will have you forget you’re in Sandton. Sean was an amazing host, he went out of his way to make us feel at home, really felt like a personal touch which we really appreciated. Couldn’t be happier with our time there. Highly recommended.

Great flexible space! The space can cater for small and larger crowds. We make fully use of this flexibility during our trip.

Such a peaceful and pleasant stay. Check in was super smooth even though we asked to check in earlier than usual. The place was big enough to move around freely. Wifi connection was great and we loved the visits from the dogs. A lovely homey place with an amazing host.
