Hartland : locations de vacances

Kismet Cottage was everything we hoped for. Beautiful location and lovely apartment. Waking up every morning to the view of the lake never got old. Vermont at it's best. We've now enjoyed the winter here and hope to return at a minimum of three more times to experience the place in spring, summer and fall.

The Mendon Cottage is clean, cozy and private. It’s just a 15 minute drive to Killington base, even in a fairly decent snow storm. There are trails behind the property that offered some good hiking for our doggo (they’re made for snowmobiles, but we didn’t spot one during our stay). The property delivers on its main promise: a less pricey alternative to staying at Killington, with very little inconvenience for the ski bums. Unless you simply can’t live without the ability to take the shuttle and ski off the mountain to your rental, you really can’t go wrong with this property. (It snowed our entire stay and the private road and driveway were plowed repeatedly and always navigable.)

The condo was very nice and just like it was described. Easy to find everything, quiet neighborhood and great for dogs. The sauna was a great amenity, made the trip even more relaxing. The condo was close to downtown and easy access to the local restaurants, shops and outdoor activities. Would definitely stay again

Barbara's place is a real gem. So clean, with a beautiful mix of antique and woodsy modern furniture, and a wonderfully comfortable living area overlooking a meandering brook which a few hundred yards down the road leads to the lake. The kitchen was well-equipped and modern, and beddings and beds were very comfortable. While the house was close too a busy road, we didn't hear a thing, and for summer users the deck is completely away from the road, overlooking the brook. Even more than we expected.

If you are looking for an idyllic lake house experience, this is it! We could have spent our entire trip just sitting on the porches—upstairs, downstairs, one screened-in porch, and the lovely dock. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat multiple times. The house was perfect for us because we are a close family of three, but if you need privacy from other guests, this wouldn’t be the ideal house as one bedroom opens into the other. The beds are soft and comfortable as is the sofa. Paula and Tim were extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return to this house. It was difficult to leave the gorgeous leaves.

Nice clean place to stay and excellent communication from the hosts. The property matches what's described. We were skiing all day and was a good spot to crash. It was bit further from Killington than we wanted, but that was clear up front!

We stayed here while visiting family in Hanover forThanksgiving. A spacious house nestled within an amazing wooded area. We had the pleasure of waking up to all the trees covered in fresh snow. All the more perfect because the house has huge windows lots of natural light. Highly recommend.

It was exactly what I needed to get away from a high stress job! Easy lake access, beautiful views, perfect trail behind the property to walk. RV was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Surrounding towns were close enough for comfort/ groceries when needed. Added points for the friendly pets you may see. They made me miss mine at home, but were adorable! Thank you!!

Our stay was awesome! The driveway was icy but the hosts provided salt for us to use and the snow-pile guy came during our week and spread sand which was very helpful. The house was huge and provided lots of activities and room for everyone to spread out. We had some amazing family dinners using the well equipped kitchen and large dining space.
