Claudia’s place was exactly as described. A warm, relaxing and peaceful spot! The host was extremely welcoming and gave excellent recommendations. The breakfast at the onsite cafe was also a brilliant way to start your day.

Stayed here with some mates for a business retreat and it was absolutely perfect. Stunning location, beautiful surroundings, gorgeous cabin, super comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms and fantastic decor. Loved every aspect of it.

Great escape from busy life with an amazing location. Was very homely and my children loved it.

Booked as a birthday night away for some peace, quiet and relaxation, we were not disappointed as the accommodation, location and overall surrounding area was simply beautiful. Mike was extremely helpful and responsive, made the trip a breeze from start to finish. Will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay, 2 adults and 2 children and a baby and i honestly have to say this is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed, everything about it was fab, the hive was so well maintained and tidy, the host is so attentive, kind, thoughtful and proactive in responding to messages. Location was perfect 2 minute drive to the seafront or 10-15 min walk. Home from home, couldn’t have asked for better or wished for more. Really was an enjoyable stay and we will definitely be returning hopefully in the near future.

The only down fall is the hot tub was over chlorined and was unattainable because of this.

Such a stunning spot. The view out over the valley is beautiful. The lovely Alfriston is a 5 minute walk away with delicious pubs and restaurants. Great walks directly from the lodge and no need to get in your car. Hot tub was great once we got it up to temperature with a bit of help from Mandy which was appreciated! Really recommend and we’d love to return one day.

I’ve been wanting to stay somewhere like this, a much-needed getaway to relax in nature, with a big window and a scenic view, and I found the perfect spot. Stayed for two nights and honestly didn’t want to return back to reality. It did get a bit cold at night, but starting my own fire in the fireplace was such a fun experience, and it didn’t take long to warm up the cabin. The host was super helpful and stayed in contact with quick replies. I took my pet rabbit, and she enjoyed herself too! Definitely looking forward to checking out the other cabins in different locations. Highly recommend!

Where to start! Adam’s place is a slice of heaven, - It’s beautiful, open, desolate and peaceful beyond imagination. Waking up to black redstarts on the garden fence, cormorants flying to and from the sea, watching the glimmering ocean waves in the distance, and being in the middle of an endless expanse of shingle will be something not soon forgotten - the desire to wake each day like that will never fade. Although there was a TV, we found ourselves staring out of the folding doors whenever we had come back to the cabin after our local walks. We went to the reserve, small wooded area and done night walks from lighthouse to lighthouse and up the boardwalk, looking for rabbits little shining eyes, and gazing at the myriad of stars. Thankyou for a wonderful experience, the house was immaculate and uncluttered matching its sparse surroundings, we will definitely be returning.

I recently stayed at this awesome wood cabin and had such a great time. The location is super peaceful, perfect for getting away from everything. The owners were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin itself was cozy and had all the basics for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay!

We had a great stay in the hut. The facilities were excellent, communication was helpful and friendly, and the location was peaceful, private and superb for exploring the nature reserve. We plan to visit again. Thank you Michael and Sheila for a wonderful stay.

Larissa’s quaint little cabin was a wonderful escape from the hustle & busy world we find ourselves in. She was responsive & left us some fresh eggs & also delicious homemade jam. We are a family of four & and whilst we were very comfortable the place is small. Our girls slept very well on the futon bed in the lounge. I imagine this place comes to life in summer when you can utilise the outdoor space; like the dining table. We found it quite crammed at mealtimes. The pool, even in November, was fantastic! Fresh & an absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you Larissa.

Had a lovely Christmas at Casa-Van. The lodge was warm & cosy and we felt very at home there. We were particularly impressed by the size of the lounge and kitchen/dining room. The enclosed secure garden was great for the dog. Very nearby is a fantastic indian restaurant and the great steam railway. Would recommend Casa-Van to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Absolutely lovely place, we had a wonderful time! Little Hawthorn is beautifully decorated, we want to pinch all of their interior design ideas! The cottage had absolutely everything you could need and more. Amazing shower and super comfortable bed. We came away wishing we had booked a longer stay!

Sally and Gavin were both lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The cabin is lovely, so well furnished and so clean, which means a lot to us when we stay somewhere! It was lovely to be greeted with some complimentary snacks and homemade brownies. The tennis court was lots of fun to use and we loved admiring the chickens that were on the grounds of the property. Sally and Gavin provided lots of recommendations for nearby food spots and places to visit. An absolutely faultless stay, we would love to revisit and will definitely be recommending to friends and family!🤍

We really enjoyed our stay in Sarah Jane's property and hope to return, possibly with an even bigger group, to take advantage of the other lodges also on the site. Would happily recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Beautifully presented cabin. Beautiful finishing touches, love the bee theme, (where can i get the Bee curtain hold backs?😊 )..Fantastic location very private and fully fitted kitchen and lovely modern shower room were lovely. It was very tardis like! Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Would love to return next time we are visiting the area and would certainly recommend.
