After a last-minute cancellation with a different host, stumbling across 74 By The Sea (BTS) turned out to be the perfect - and even better alternative for my friends weekend trip! Tim and Hayley were super accommodating with our last-minute request and all our questions. Upon arrival, Hayley took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know. 74 BTS is a beautiful and spotless accommodation. If you’re a little OCD like me and my friends, you’ll have no issues feeling right at home. The house is beautifully presented and well-equipped for a family set-up. Thank you, Tim and Hayley, for being such great hosts and sharing your wonderful home - a second trip is 100% on the cards!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nancy’s house. It was in the perfect location for us after arriving from France. It was clean and comfortable and everything we needed was provided for us. Nancy was very kind and flexible with arrangements. The area was quiet and we had a lovely walk through a park and past the allotments. Thank you Nancy, we would love to return.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic weekend at Beach Retreat. The house had plenty of room for us, was clean, had everything we needed, and we absolutely loved the view. We appreciated Joseph’s recommendations of places to eat nearby and had great fish and chips at The Pilot Inn. We would definitely return and stay here again.

We loved our stay at Roni’s Oast House. We were made to feel welcome and had everything we needed in the house. When a taxi let us down, Martin came to the rescue. Roni even left us some party supplies. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, thank you for having us.

Tracy and Mark’s place in St Leonards on Sea is absolutely lovely. The house is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable – we all felt right at home straight away. The garden is a real bonus too – a sunny spot perfect for eating or relaxing with a cup of tea or glass of wine. There were loads of interesting books and board games, if only we'd had more time! Our hosts were very kind, helpful and responsive. St Leonards itself is a great spot for a short break. It’s right on the sea, with a really creative and laid-back vibe. There are loads of great places to eat and drink, and plenty of art and interesting shops to explore. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Thanks again, Tracy and Mark!

This house is wonderful. We have stayed in many places in Rye and this is one of the best. Its location is perfect very close to the centre of Rye with all the restaurants on your doorstep. The house itself is great, beds are really comfy, the showers / bathrooms lovely with loads of hot water and the whole house has a very homely feel. It is also directly opposite a playground and park which is perfect for the kids. The hosts also left us a basket of treats when we arrived. Very kind indeed. We had a great stay! Thanks for having us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house worked really well for our group of 8. It offered plenty of space and had lots to keep all ages entertained. The pool table was a big hit and being able to walk out of the back garden straight on to the beach was great. The instructions for access were easy to follow and the host responded to a couple of questions we asked during our stay.

What a fabulous airbnb!! Looks just as the photos, if not, more stunning and spacious. The host, Jasper, was nothing but helpful and kind, making the stay very easy and stress-free. Overall, I would recommend to anyone visiting Hasting and/or St Leonard's.

We stayed at the View for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday and as a first holiday with our 5 month old puppy, Peaches. We had a lovely time, the house and grounds were stunning and so peaceful. We went for beautiful walks and bike ride and will recommend to anyone

Amazing location, really in the heart of Dungerness, with a great view. The cabin was very clean, beautifully laid out and had everything we needed for the weekend. Would definitely stay again!

We returned here for a second time and the experience was as good as the first. Located in a quiet and leafy area it is easy to find, park and enter. Very clean and tidy. Within walking distance of the common and town centre.

Great location just a short walk from the high street and beach. Hosts communications were spot on, timely/accurate/clear, couldn’t have asked for more. The flat was spotless, full of gadgets and lovely new bathroom. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Dan for letting us stay!

A great stay in St Leonard’s with gorgeous sea views and superb local sights, supported by a very knowledgeable and kind host in Debi.

Everything was incredibly easy to organise, property was very clean and comfortable in a beautiful surrounding area. Lots of walks, cafes and restaurants a few minutes away and very responsive host. Nice touches with snacks on arrival and milk, tea and coffee. Really appreciated the local recommendations from Alison and her husband.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Steve’s place. The view of the expansive sea was breathtaking. The flat was huge, bright and spacious. I slept really well as the bed was very comfy. The flat is immaculately maintained and beautifully styled - loved it. I will definitely be revisiting! Thank you!

The description, a diamond in the rough is exactly right, perfect location for St Leonard’s, Hastings and the train station, Paul met us at the property to explain where everything was, how everything worked and to give us some tips on the local area, his recommendations were top notch, The Stag in Hastings, excellent, we had the mussels which Paul recommended, we walked there along the promenade, beautiful stroll which took about 30 minutes, Paul also recommended the Waterworks in Rye, great little micro pub, if you go on a Sunday take some cheese, they have a cheese Sunday club which anyone can take part in as long as you contribute some cheese, we went on the train, the station is 2 minutes from the apartment, had a great couple of hours sampling the local beers and ciders. Paul is the perfect host and his property is very well equipped and so comfortable, we would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We had a delightful 3 night stay at Fancoombe. The property was immaculate, just as shown in the photos, in a beautiful, quiet setting. Highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway!

The pictures don’t really do justice to how amazing this place was. Everything was lovely and the view from the balcony was beautiful to wake to in the morning. Susan was a great hoist and very helpful. We would definitely come back again
