Fantastic stay! Everything is as advertised and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. My family and I stayed here over Thanksgiving and were happy to find a well-stocked kitchen, games galore, and TVs in every room - something for everyone. The hot tub is new and in great condition - a fantastic winter treat! Worth noting that the beds were very comfortable and having laundry access was an added bonus. The beach is just steps away and you can hear the ocean from every room in the house with windows open. A quaint cottage nestled into a private neighborhood but still not too far from shops and restaurants. It was everything we wanted and we’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Tom was very responsive and kindly helped with personal medical needs we had. He was pleasant at every interaction and everything had been described perfectly. A lot of unusual amenities in the house like an air fryer, a lot of games, smart tvs in every bedroom and living room, and more. The beach was beautiful and never crowded and the Sound was also beautiful. Both are so close and easy to get to (5 minute walk to the ocean, 5 minute car ride to the sound).

Great place to stay if you don’t want to be “right on the beach”. Walk to beach with a family and “all the beach things” would be rough. It was just my wife and I and our dog so not too bad of a walk. Would stay again at any of Michael’s properties as the house was very clean and everything was in great working order. Very nice place! I loved the trees. Made it feel more secluded than it really is. The wind really blows so make sure to lock that bedroom out door. We loved the hot tub! The night sky, impeccable. Beautiful weather for a February. The home was awesome overall! 5 stars. Checked out Ocracoke via ferry. Nothing to do there but very dope experience. Drove up and down rt 12. Would come again in the summer.

What a great house! Brian was super responsive to all of our questions, and proactive when it came to the tropical storm that popped up our last week there. The space was great for 5 of us. The beds were surprisingly comfortable (as someone with severe back issues, I usually don’t get that lucky while traveling), and the central AC worked beautifully on super humid days. There’s a full size daybed on the loft outside the master, which was great when our kid wasn’t brave enough to stay in the bunk room on the main floor. The breeze from the back deck was phenomenal; plus, it was SO nice to look out onto the marsh versus another person’s yard. The privacy and peace were so welcome. Only about 5 mins walk (loaded down with gear) to actually sitting in your chairs on the beach, over just a slight rise in the dunes. Lovely area with access to multiple great restaurants both north and south, with a quick walk or drive to Waves market, Hatteras Bowls, etc. Can’t wait to come back!!!

The place was very cozy and clean. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms surpassed our expectations. The beachfront view from the deck was breathtaking and amazing. Our host was very responsive and making sure our stay was comfortable from the beginning to end. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. We will definitely come back, and experience it again! Very highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our week at Outer Banks. Sushma was a great host, the house is situated in a beautiful area and has everything you could wish for. The beaches and in particular the sunsets were breathtaking. We enjoyed long walks at the beach and the pool and jacuzzi afterwards!

We had such a fun weekend at Ashley's Place. The views were incredible and it's just a short walk over the dune to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped to cook several nice meals. The house was clean and comfortable and very pet friendly. The pups had a blast hanging out on the deck, and each level was gated which was super nice. We loved the hot tub on the deck as well. Definitely would come back!

Enjoyed our stay. Loved that we could utilize the community pool since the beach had red flags during our entire stay. The beach access private parking was also a plus. Hot tub was a great way to end the day. Lots of space for family meals at the dinning room table.
