What a wonderful place to stay!! The house was beautiful, deck on the front with large slider doors. The facilities were great, tennis court, heated fresh swimming pool, bbq and access to the Lake. The husbands caught a Rainbow Trout, which was delicious on the bbq! Lovely serene spot, just what we needed for some downtime.

The Property is well decorated and enough rooms for a group with fully equipped facilities. Convenient to go to the nearby supermarket and community shopping area. Peaceful surroundings.

We stayed in the retreat, it is an individual building secluded from other buildings with the bush and a lake on one side and deep valleys in front. The building consists of two rooms bed and kitchen, with a very well equipped modern separate bathroom. The entire front is glass, with a large deck over looking the green hills and valleys. Capped off with a view of the ocean , Waipu cove and the Hen and chicken Islands. There is an out door bath tub recessed into a step down deck. Great way to relax at sunset with a beverage. The elevation and distance from any neighbors provides all the privacy and freedom you could desire. Mark was an excellent host invited us for drinks and a games night, at his well equipped house/club house. We had more fun than we have had in a long time. Thankyou so much Mark

Eine stylische Unterkunft mit schönem Ausblick. Die Zufahrt ist anspruchsvoll und für geübte Fahrer. Ansonsten würden wir wieder kommen!

A visit to Hobbiton would not be complete without staying in the Hobbit hole, complete with Lord of the Rings DVD and enough eggs and bacon for a first and second second breakfast, it’s an Airbnb fit for a hobbit. Wish I could have stayed longer.

I'm so glad we decided to stay in this charming village for a few days. It's a very quiet place and Ange's home was equally charming and quiet. It is not the biggest place and we felt a little cramped in the bedroom, but 4 of us managed just fine. There is a lovely deck and windows that let in a lot of lovely light and ocean breeze. We loved being able to walk to the beach for the sunrises and along the coast to some more secluded beaches. There is a lot to explore for such a small village. Ange was also very responsive and flexible on check in/out times which is always appreciated!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! A beautiful space & comfortable bed! Exceeded our expectations. Peter and Lynda are super friendly, approachable and accommodating! Always happy to help. Would definitely rebook again 🥰

Great place to stay, location is really peaceful and secluded yet just 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of town.

Jo’s place was absolutely stunning, with the most amazing views that made us feel completely at peace. We truly didn’t want to leave. The icing on the cake was the adorable visits from the cutest doggos! The only thing worth noting is that, being surrounded by lush greenery and grass, there are quite a few insects around. This made the indoor bath a more appealing option than the outdoor one. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we’ll def be back 🤍🤍
