The house was beautiful inside and out. My son loved the pool, which was the perfect temperature. The kitchen was well stocked and the house provided plenty of space for everyone.

This was a beautiful house. We spent most of our time in the backyard. The outdoor kitchen, pool, spa and putt-putt course kept us busy. The inside was great and had everything that we needed to cook in some nights. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very spacious. Would definitely rent here again.

Absolutely loved our stay! It had everything we needed in an amazing location. It was SO much nicer than a hotel for a large group. There were card and board games available, umbrellas, coolers, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and even a wagon which made everything easier. Sheri was so easy to work with, quick to respond, and made everything seamless! We would love to stay here again!

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The home was exactly as advertised—beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly cozy. Every morning we woke up to the soothing sounds of rain or sunshine breaking through the trees, with birds chirping and an unforgettable view to start the day. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook, and we took full advantage of it—making breakfast each morning and dinner each evening. We especially loved the variety of coffee options available—French press, pour-over, and drip. Having our morning coffee on the patio while taking in the view was a daily highlight. The home was also equipped with everything you could need for the beach, which made our decision easy—we didn’t leave that side of the island! Between the peaceful surroundings, the fully stocked kitchen, and the thoughtful amenities, we saved money and enjoyed a much more relaxing experience than if we’d stayed elsewhere.

The upstairs was awesome and had great views. There was plenty of room for our family of 13. Location was great and easy to access. Down stairs was good for anyone who can't walk up stairs and is great for wheelchairs. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kona. Thank you Jun

We really enjoyed our stay. For our family group of 9 this property fit our needs perfectly! The pool right outside our doors was great, and the hot tub was also used frequently. The kitchen was well supplied with whatever we needed for cooking at home. We enjoyed the outside dining area; the weather was beautiful, and we ate almost all of our meals outside. The house was very comfortable. Probably the feature I like the best is the view we had of the ocean to the west. We had some fantastic sunsets! Our host Khanh was quick to respond with any questions we had. We have great memories of our time there.

What a beautiful home and location. So close to Hana Lei and the home was beautiful. My favorite part was the deck overlooking the beautiful garden and lush landscape of Kauai. We had the most peaceful and restorative experience in this beautiful home.

A memorable stay in Princeville. The house had everything we needed and close to all the north shore beaches. The pictures don’t do the pool justice! Great for kids and adults alike.

We had a magical time at Dicle’s home! It was absolutely perfect in every way. The house is gorgeous. It is well-designed, beautifully decorated, spacious, and in the most peaceful setting. They have thought of everything from amenities in the home to great local recommendations. Dicle was super welcoming, responsive and helpful. This was far and away superior to staying in a resort and we felt right at home. It was the perfect place for our family vacation! We already can’t wait to return!

A dream! Our family had a marvelous time here. You cannot beat the location and view. Easy to get down to the beach and enjoy snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing as it’s never very busy in the bay. We spent a ton of time just sitting out in the gazebo looking over the bay. The beach gear provided also came in extremely handy. Kauai in general is just a beautiful island that we immensely enjoyed. We loved being out of the main towns just enough to feel privacy but close enough to get there in no time. Thank you so much!

Our home away from home!!! The grandkids loved that it was spacious. Even after a whole day driving around and visited parks and other places, the grandkids still had energy to stay up and enjoy the home. We did not have any problems or issues since everything we needed (plus more) was available in the home. The home was very neat and clean. And the area was quiet and peaceful. So relaxing after a day of roaming around. Highly recommended for a family vacation ! i hope the home will be available again for our next (hopefully longer) visit.

We couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb experience. The home is beautiful and our party of 11 felt right at home. It seems like Jimmy has thought about the finer details like adequate kitchenware to guest sandals, which made our stay worry-free and comfortable. Lastly, the view from the every room just tops off this wonderful experience. Thank you!

Cannot say enough good things about this house! The house itself is wonderful. Well designed, spacious, has everything you need to feel right at home. The beds are comfortable, plenty of linens and towels, it fit our party of 9 (5 adults, 2 kids, 2 babies) no problem. The lanai and pool were wonderful, and beautiful landscaping. The outdoor showers were such a fun bonus! The neighborhood is great and peaceful, very close to the princeville shopping center and close to beaches, and a great kids playground less than 10 min walk away. Kevin and Lisa were very responsive and helped us enormously with an emergency situation and rebooking. Incredibly nice people. You will not regret staying here!!

We came to the Big Island to meet up with our family but our plan had to change and we needed a place the day of. This place was offering a discount, so we were able to stay pretty cheaply for 11 nights. Contact free check-in was nice since we were not sure what time we would actually arrive at the house. The host Ashley was super nice and texted me back pretty quickly. Many chickens live next door and they start crowing at around 5am, which didn’t bother us (I kinda enjoyed it because where I live, I don’t hear any animal sounds at all) but if you are a super light sleeper then you may wake up early. Such a nice, big, and clean place, with a gorgeous sunset view. We would absolutely stay here again if we need a place on the Big Island!

I love how the place was decorated of the Star Wars theme. My boys are huge fans of the franchise. The kids had lots of fun seeing all the decor, playing with toys, and adults played the board games. The house was very spacious for a group of 11 of us. The house is cool because the lava burned down the house next door and there are steam vents now in front and all around the property making it look like a land from Star Wars. There was A/C in the home which was great because it can get warm and humid sometimes. There was still hair in the shower in the main bedroom but I think it’s because the hosts maybe live there and it was booked last minute. The host greeted us and showed us the place quickly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was pricey but super cool for one night and worth it to see my boys nerd-out for one night and just be in awe with all the cool decor.

Island Views Hale was the perfect place for our family of four adults to stay. We all had enough private space and communal space to enjoy our time. We enjoyed all our dinners on the lanai watching the sunset and then the geckos emerging. The mornings were filled with birdsong and turkey gobbles. The property is well provisioned for cooking and for beach fun.

We loved the property. We definitely appreciated all the switches being labeled and the property was beautiful. The pool was clean and a lot of fun, and there were plenty of dishes, etc. in the kitchen to satisfy multiple meals with 7 guests.

Wonderful location and nice views. The huge hot tub was a fun hangout when the weather was less than ideal. Oh and we saw a pod of whales right from the patio.

Looking for a great home for a family or a few couples, this place is great. Great pool, hot tub and back patio, and the house, bedrooms and kitchen were all great. Great location that is private but near many beaches, shopping, and restaurants.

We had an amazing 7 night stay at Tide Pools! It was so fun to have the pool table, Ping pong and our own private pool and spa. Kim was such an amazing host! Very responsive to any messages or questions I had. The house is in an awesome area in princeville. It’s a bike ride to the beach, as well as a short walk to Happy Talk Bar with amazing sunset views. The house had everything you need to cook home cook meals. If you want a place the whole family would love with a private pool and jacuzzi, don’t hesitate to book Tide pools! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!!! Kim thank you again for being such a fantastic host! We will be back again soon!

This house was the perfect property for our extended family of 9 to enjoy Kona and the surrounding areas! The location is great with a short, easy drive to both the airport and downtown and the property/yard is lovely. We found the home to be very comfortable and well stocked. The kids loved having the a little pool to themselves after a day at the beach and it was so nice that it was a bit cooler up on the hill in the evenings. The only thing I’d note is that there are several VERY vocal roosters in the vicinity. (This would be hard to avoid anywhere in Hawaii though I imagine!) If you are hoping to sleep in or are sensitive to noises, bring ear plugs or put on some white noise. We all adjusted to it quickly :) Thanks so much for hosting us Kim!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Melanie’s hospitality or the place itself. Amazing views and the house is stocked with everything you might need. Ping pong table was a huge hit and pool/hot tub were just what my family needed to relax and reconnect. The view of the ocean is unbelievable. Completely recommend staying here.

Great place. About a 15-20 minute walk to a couple beaches. You are in a neighborhood so it feels safe to walk around/not many cars. 5-7 minute drive to nearest grocery store and a few restaurants. Very close to Hanalei town - about 30 min to Haena State Park. You definitely need a car while sight seeing around Kauai. The home is large (big enough for 9-10 people) and the kitchen/living area is great for family mornings and evenings. You can see the mountains and waterfalls on a clear day. The lanai on the first and second floor are great in the mornings. All the rooms are spacious and very clean. 3 of the rooms are on the bottom floor (including the 4th room/bunk bed that is in common area). The only room on the first floor is the master. Only issue was that the fridge ice maker did not work and had a little difficulty contacting the 24/7 property manager. Brad was a great communicator and really helps you know the lay of the land. Would definitely stay again.
