Super cute place! Exactly as described. Loved how private the property feels. We were there with our kids but it would make a great romantic getaway. The kitchen is very well stocked. Loved that they had electric blankets because it definitely gets cold at night in Volcano. This place is a great location if you're looking for somewhere near the Volcano National Park.

A Nice cozy place with good views

I don’t know where to start! If you are lucky enough to pick Garden Cottage in Kihei you will enjoy one of the best Airbnb stays ever!! It is a very private beautiful place with too many comforts to mention!! Some highlights include an outdoor shower and wonderful hot tub all to yourselves with natural tree shade!! In the cottage bathroom there is a large shower with two shower heads, and a rain shower head. You are treated with extremely soft towels, a comfy bed, separate air conditioning in bedroom and living area, and a very well stocked kitchen! Everything is high end, (e.g., Boshe dishwasher, Henckel knives, induction stove, bamboo cutting boards, Grohe shower heads, …) . You arrive to a very clean, and beautifully decorated and efficiently laid out space, there are two outdoor areas, one in the front with a dining table , a fenced in front lawn, and a patio on the side of the cottage by the hot tub, all with comfy seating. And close to downtown stores and restaurants too!! Wow!

What an amazing stay in Volcano village, cannot recommend this place enough! The location is prefect, right next to the park, but very private surrounded by nature. I understand why they call it the singing forest with all the birds! The house is in top condition, beautiful interior, spotlessly clean, all the things you need for a relaxing laid back stay. Hot tub was lovely after a long day walking in the park, as was the fire place for the cooler evenings. Would absolutely book again, thank you so much for the stay

Everything about our stay was better than expected. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived quite a bit later than expected, but Todd met us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the cabin. It was beautifully decorated, with comfortable furnishings, and we loved eating breakfast outside on the back porch, watching the pheasants in the grass. Todd and Olivia made a special point of letting us know when the volcano began erupting, so we didn't miss it. It was amazing to get to see that in person.

We are so happy that we chose Volcano Hidden Cottage for our home while we explored Volcanoes National Park! The cottage is gorgeous, and the setting is idyllic- completely private and quiet. The only sounds we heard were from the wildlife, who lulled us to sleep each night. We enjoyed spending time out on the large deck, surrounded by lush greenery. The cottage is very comfortable, and we slept so well! We feel lucky to have been able to stay at such a wonderful place that is just minutes from the park entrance. Thank you, Brenda!

We wish we could have stayed longer. David a Dawn put a lot of hard work into the space. The pool/hottub and sauna were very clean and enjoyable. The Jungalow itself felt very private and great sunset. Everything you could need is there for you kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, plenty of seating everywhere . The open air and big windows make you feel like you’re living outside. The porch and balcony were great for relaxing on. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. The property itself is gorgeous. Great flowers plants and trees, smelled great everywhere you went. Plenty of places to go from the property and they were very helpful in telling us the best spots to check out. We LOVED everything about this location. Iao Valley is so special and the location of the AirBNB itself was perfect for getting all around the island. We visited at the end of March and never ran the AC once. It was hot during the afternoon but the morning/late afternoon/evening cool off, with the winds blowing into the valley were so perfect. AND the birdsong in the morning was so beautiful that I recorded it and sent it to my family (minus the rooster song- but that's just Maui living for ya). If you want a good cocktail check out Ester's Fair Prospect, they have a nice selection of liquor and a fun vibe, located in the city of Wailuku right next door to this place. Also we loved the goodies that were left in the fridge. The pineapple on the island is SOOO good. Sooooooo good. Forget the banana bread hype... just eat the pineapples and bananas fresh! Mahalo!

We absolutely loved the cottage! Tom and Denise were very kind and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities and restaurants in the area. The cottage had great extras like snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. In the morning, we were woken up by the beautiful sound of birds which we will miss dearly back home! We were super happy a late check-out was possible as our flight was in the evening. Highly recommend booking with Tom and Denise (and their adorable dog), would 100 percent book again!

Great place to stay. We stayed in the lower part of the house and it was perfect for our small family. Close to some great beaches to watch the surfers and great restaurants

We loved our stay. It was a peaceful, beautiful setting. We appreciated being in a less populated area but accessible by quick walk or drive to beaches, Hanalei and plenty of restaurants. The home had everything we needed. We made good use of all the beach gear. It got steamy in the home during the day but cooled off at night with all the window units, fans and whole home fan. Loved morning coffee and reading on the lanai!

Had a great time in this private and peaceful accommodation. Ashley was very friendly and responsive and provided us with privacy and easy communication. This place provides a unique and relaxing glamping style stay. It rained very hard the first night and sounded beautiful as it’s an open air room but still felt very secure and everything stayed dry. After the rain the coqui were plentiful so it may not be for everyone but I found it to be soothing and peaceful. My only recommendation is maybe to hang a mirror in the shower room or in the kitchen/bathroom area. Mahalo for a great stay!

Definitely a great place in Wailuku close to everything and lots of great restaurants and cafes close by. Rooms were perfect with AC if needed, layout is good and instructions to getting inside was easy. Will stay here again when coming to visit Maui!

The place looks gorgeous with the plants in the garden and a nice looking relaxing living room. Our host is very welcoming and helped us with the luggage as well as greeted us when encountering us when we arrived. Loved the experience.

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

Beautiful spot in the jungle near the volcano. Super private, jungle hottub was definitely the star of the stay. Communication was great.

Me and my daughter had a wonderful time at Connie’s cottage!! There was beautiful nature and a very big tropical garden. Many different kind of plants, trees and flowers. The cottage inside is very spacious for two people with many needed supplies . Thank you, Connie, you are a great host! We hope we will come back next year🙂

Luana cottage is a garden Paradise! It is beautiful and calming from the second you step on the property. The master BR is spacious and the second bedroom is particularly lovely and charming. The kitchen was well stocked and everything you need is there except for coffee. It would be a nice touch to leave coffee and some creamer. We appreciated the beautiful bouquet of fresh tropical flowers. All the linens and textiles are very nice, and there's just a pervasive Good Vibe throughout the cottage. It is a good location, not too far from Hana and many interesting activities. Don't miss the short hike to the base of Fagan's cross - something we didn't expect and found out by accident when we talked with locals. Note that the cottage offers an outside shower in the back. Although we did not use it, we thought that was a nice option. One of our favorite parts was sitting out on the Lanai and looking out over the beautifully groomed grounds. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Sheryll’s place for 6 nights. Our stay was very nice. Her home is comfy and perfect for a couple. There was coffee for us to enjoy every morning. She gifted two Hawaii mugs to us, so thoughtful. The neighborhood was nice as well. Market only a couple blocks away. Totally walkable. We enjoyed chatting with her and her husband Roger. This cottage in Volcano Village was soo cozy and beautiful! Staying here gave us quick access to the Hawaiian Volcano National Park (only about 15 min drive). The hosts gave us plenty of supplies for anything we needed. We had a bit of an issue with plumbing, but Aubrey was quick and got it taken care of efficiently. We would love to come back in the future 😊

Our stay was seamless. Amazing tranquility, trade wind breezes, sweeping views, sunsets in the ocean, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Lovely to meet Lilly who was so kind and turned us on to Ho'okena Beach Park, a true gem. A magical time for the two of us.

Great place for exploring Maui, especially if you want to get away from the resorts and enjoy a cute Hawaiian town and upcountry. Margit’s place has everything you need (full kitchen, lanai, beach towels, w/d, filtered water….). Her cottage is well taken care of and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Top notch.

From the peaceful and private jungle location, to the friendly and helpful staff, this place was everything I could have hoped for a getaway. Myra is a wonderful host and I cannot wait to stay here again.

This place is amazing. It is in the jungle which adds excitement, you are surrounded by a beautiful setting. The place is well cared for and had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Everything was properly labeled and it was so quaint. my two daughters and I just loved it.
