What a fantastic place for a secluded and private space in the heart of Napier. The accommodation was just as described, Lynley and Drew welcomed us on our first day and made us feel at home . We highly recommend this apartment as a place to relax, unwind and watch the local birdlife.

Great location close to the lake and the centre of Taupo. Very nice unit and very comfortable bed.

Lovely and quite, nice comfy bed and all you would need to prepare any meals. I would stay here again.

Good place close to the beach

This place was a gem, we feel lucky to have found it and to have stayed in such a beautiful home. We're a family of 5, which includes two children. We especially liked that their were two single beds in one of the rooms, and the room was positioned far from the main living area (and with options to close off the living area from the bedrooms, making it even more private). The place was literally only 5-10mins walk to Havelock North town centre (which has a very cool playground as soon as you enter the town). And just a few minutes drive to Hastings, where in between you can go to the Strawberry Patch farm for real fruit ice-cream and other fruits and veggies. We highly recommend a visit to the "Off The Track" restaurant and the Baxter Sunflower farm - both right next to each other.

10/10 stay. Close to lake Taupo. The house has everything you can think of. Very clean. Spa and bbq were great! Would stay here again.

We had a great stay, the view is epic and the lake sounds so relaxing. A great location for Taupō. Apartment is well maintained and furnished.

It felt like an extraordinary privilege to share Rebecca and Matthew’s holiday home. The view is spectacular and the house is full of cleverly designed charms. The kitchen has everything you need to make great home cooked meals, but the local restaurants are also great. Absolutely recommend this place!

The Pipi Pad was outstanding in every way. Well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms giving 3 couples plenty of room whilst staying. Tastefully decorated with extremely comfortable beds and gorgeous linen. Heaps on offer to to while staying there, ie books, games, ping pong, bikes and spa pool. Lovely touch by leaving fresh milk for us and allowing us to use things from the pantry and fridge. Jeremy’s communication was fabulous - we had no problem finding the Pipi Pad and getting in was easy. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Taupo.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tatau Kowhai and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of our host was exceptional. They were very accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house itself was immaculate, showcasing a cleanliness that immediately made us feel at home. With ample space for our large family, it was the perfect setting for our gathering. We were able to enjoy quality time together without feeling cramped, making the experience even more enjoyable for everyone. Additionally, the neighbors were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive atmosphere of the neighborhood. Communication with our host was seamless throughout our stay, as they were always quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a beautiful and accommodating place for family gatherings. Our stay was nothing short of wonderful!
