beautiful tiny house in beautiful surrounds. we came for the wellington anniversary weekend and it was a great location for a minibreak. the view of the night sky from the garden was fantastic. lauren was very helpful and the property had a lot of nice little touches

I had an amazing stay at Kristy’s cozy tiny house! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake, which made it even more special. Her dog, Maze, was an absolute delight – playful and friendly, making my time there even more enjoyable. Kristy herself was a wonderful host, taking the time to have a great conversation that made me feel right at home. She truly goes above and beyond – definitely superhost worthy! I’d love to come back again!

Lovely place to stay. Comfortable room and beautiful property. We enjoyed visiting the animals and using the hot tub. FYI pool is only heated after labour days Wish we had stayed another night.

This place was amazing! It's honestly like a little slice of paradise. The location is was very secluded and away from light pollution, which was perfect for astrophotography and also taking pictures of the local birds (the fantails get so close!). The complimentary breakfast and snacks were much appreciated, we didn't need to bring much ourselves since we mostly went out in the afternoon for lunch/dinner. TV (with chromecast) was a big plus for us to wind down while we settled up for the evening. The pool was readily available for us but it was a shame we didn't have time to try it out. And the BBQ stand was perfect for us to make dinner while we enjoy the outdoors with a campfire :) The stay was super comfy and cozy, I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

If you're looking for peace to wind down, Mahia in late March is the place. The beach is a bare hundred metres walk away, the sea is always there and the garden is shady and sheltered. Accommodation is just what it says; think 1970s bach, like Nana's, and you're spot on. Comfy beds, microwave, good fridge, clean shower, nice smooth linen. Mary is a lovely host, friendly and helpful, but pleased to give you privacy. We arrived tired and strung up, we left relaxed and wanting to come back. I'd recommend this for a calm, peaceful break. Oh, and the real fruit ice creams at the motor camp's shop are dangerously close and deliciously yummy.

Stunning location right on the beach front, surf break out front, an absolute paradise. A quiet, peaceful and relaxing spot, with multiple indoor and outdoor areas to relax, a spa overlooking the ocean, we had a great stay thank you! The property manager Kaz was very responsive. Spa was awesome but needed some TLC. Multiple security camera's felt slightly invasive.

Van was a great host, very friendly and loved the story that came with the house ! Beautiful fresh bread & eggs is always appreciated & the house was full of charm. We really enjoyed our stay thank you for having us !

We liked it so much that we decided to stay an extra night! It is bigger than it looks on the pictures and very clean. It’s in a very calm area and you get a lot of privacy so you can really enjoy the nature surrounding you! Would definitely recommend.

This is a great place to try out a tiny home adventure. It has a beautiful plot with an amazing view over the river valley. These deck and living space both share the view with full size folding doors. It is a tiny house so visitors should be ready for that, and it’s an amazing setting. Also very close to wineries and minutes from Havelock North center with plenty of places to eat.

Dawn's attention to detail is outstanding - she has thought of everything! The place was spotlessly clean, and the snacks and breakfast foods were a lovely touch. We were greeted by Dawn when we arrived and were made to feel very welcome. We would definitely stay again.

We love our stay here! A very charming and beautiful place. We learned that initially the cabin was for personal use, hence everything felt homey, intentional, and very well built. This is our first time using a compostable toilet, but it leaves no odor and gives a very clean feel. There is garden that we can pick the fruit out of, and we were able to meet the goats and lambs! Katrina and Daniel was very nice as well, we had a quick chat just as we were about to leave. Overall we had a very pleasant and memorable stay and will definitely comeback if we are in the area.

The tiny home was so thought out had everything you could want in a Airbnb Kevin and Melanie and great host we loved every moment of our stay the views were breathtaking and the environment was spectacular would definitely recommend this property to everyone

Second stay for us and a perfect base for a couple of nights in Hastings. We'll be back!

It was a classic kiwi bach right down to the board games. The fresh made bread on arrival and bowl of fruit were welcome touches. Well stocked for towels even had dog towels if they were needed. It was great to be able to have our four legged family friend with us. Paul and Anne were great to deal with which made stay hassle free. We would recommend this as a place to stay.

This is really beachfront with a short walk down the stairs. This place made me feel right at home with a real beach bach feel. I wish we could have stayed longer. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who is a member of our family along.

Louise is a fantastic host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Louise provided clear instructions, was flexible to our arrival time, provided great local recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The location is lovely and quiet, a short drive to Napier or Hastings. The space is warm and comfortable, everything was tidy and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the space feels homely. Thank you for having us, the dogs were awesome too!
