Absolutely incredible stay!! We were here with the groom for two nights before the wedding day and it was the perfect relaxing retreat we wanted it to be! Scott was such a great host, even drove off to get us a bottle of milk when we arrived. The environment was gorgeous, the spa was heaven and the duel cabins made for a relaxing spacious experience. By far my favourite BnB I’ve ever stayed at and made for many beautiful memories. Hope to be back soon! Thank you!

Amazing stay. Had kayaks in the house that we put to great use at the nearby beach. Overall, the house was clean and Louisa was very helpful!

Our holiday at Helen's lakeside property was absolutely fantastic! The location could not have been more perfect, right in front of a serene lake with picture-perfect scenery. The view from the property was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. The spacious outdoor deck allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty around us, whether we were having meals, playing games, or simply soaking in the view. Inside, the house was just as impressive—spacious, immaculate, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that Helen has taken great care in maintaining the property, and it made our family feel right at home. What made this holiday even more special was the fact that it was a multi-generational trip with our children and grandchildren. Lakes Breeze is a beautiful and quiet place, it I s suitable for barbeque, kayaking, playing cards, cooking food with friends and family. It is a place to enjoy the scenery of the lake while enjoying delicious food. The interior decoration is rational, the kitchen is fully equipped, and Chinese and Western cuisine are convenient to use. My friends and I are very satisfied. Peaceful, homely and unique stay. Our son and dog absolutely loved the place and it’s a great place to escape the busyness of life and reconnect with nature and each other. Tessa was quick and friendly and the check in process was simple. It’s a lovely area and community and the church is unique and fully equipped to cater perfectly to families, couples and pets :) we will be back! Thank you Tessa and family x

We had a lovely time at Stephanie's cottage. It was very peaceful on her property and feeding the horses was an absolute highlight for us and the kids! Although the cottage is right next door, it still felt very private. Stephanie was a great host! I would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a peaceful, rustic stay.

Fantastic setup. Received a lovely welcome pack on arrival and plenty of leisure equipment available (kayaks and a shed full of other water activities for the whole family). Quiet surroundings and a short walk to fabulous restaurants and lake shoreline.

We had an amazing stay! The place was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Kate was incredibly responsive and friendly, making everything super easy. The jetty was a highlight, with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

My wife and I had a great time. The highlight was the waterfront view. Spent a good deal of time reading on deck overlooking Lake Macquarie—so good! And kayaks were a nice bonus. A few things to consider: if you like running, you may need to drive 5-15mins to a good running spot nearby (I really enjoyed driving to Speers Point and running there). Also—the cottage is essentially one big room (plus a laundry and bathroom), so it can be tricky for one person to go to sleep while the other stays up. Overall though we had a fantastic time—would recommend!

We highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with amazing views to bond with family and friends! Our stay at this cozy home was wonderful. The views were stunning, with the lake, pelicans, ducks and birds all creating a relaxing atmosphere. The large, private backyard was ideal for family bonding, picnics, and fishing! We travelled with our 11month old & it was a great way for our little one to absorb the scenery & utilise the sunroom Pavla and Paul were incredibly accommodating hosts, allowing last-minute adjustments to our plans and making us feel right at home. It's the little details that count, and having hosts who genuinely care about your experience truly enhances the holiday. It was a memorable stay, and we can’t wait to return again!

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

A fantastic stay in a rustic cabin. Mackerel Beach is a stunning spot, and this cabin makes the most of it with an incredible upper deck offering breathtaking views—not to mention what might be the best outdoor shower I’ve ever experienced! The perfect escape from the city to unwind and explore the simple things — cooking, bush trails, walks and swimming. We took our two young boys who loved it (they were also absolutely fine making the journey up to the cabin).

lovely place, Elize was very flexible due to an unforeseen circumstance and very responsive, even during her daughters baby shower. The place is lovely and homely!!

Nice cosy cottage. Great location next to Potonga Creek. Friendly and helpful hosts. Will definitely try to return for a relaxing break again.

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

great views and very peaceful , we loved our stay here , the only things we'd improve would be the shower which took ages to get the water warm and little pressure with only a shower curtain which didn't really stop water covering the bathroom floor , the other would be a longer jetty because when the tides out your literally stuck in the mud and unable to leave the property for 4- 6 hours depending on the tide height. Despite these issues we'd definitely stay again and Nicky was a great host .

Ben and Samantha have a beautiful and relaxing cabin on the Hawkesbury river. We had a great stay there and enjoyed waterskiing and using the amenities offered by the park. Their cabin was pristine and had all out family needed. We will come back!
