House was very spacious and comfortable, right next to the beach was only about a couple seconds walk, perfect for spending the whole day there! Perfect walking distance from the shops as well

Clare was very friendly, helpful & always quickly responded to my messages. Great location : we ( inc dogs ) loved the morning & evening beach walk. When visiting Nelson Bay we will stay again at Clair’s ☺️

We had such a relaxing and comfortable stay! We stayed for one night as we had an event on the next day but we only wish we had stayed an extra night and made a weekend of it! The property is immaculate, everything is kept so clean, tidy and neat. Plenty of space, there was only 3 of us but perfect place for 4 people. Nice large living room, spacious kitchen. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. The backyard was a great space, gardens are gorgeous, nice bbq to use and fully enclosed which was awesome as we had our doggo with us. Lynn has been super thoughtful, so many nice little touches with everything you could need and more for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again!

A peaceful setting backing onto bush. The only visitors are the native animals and bird life who are very entertaining. Roger is very personable and easy to communicate with making our stay most enjoyable. The home is easy to live in being open plan and there’s plenty of space for all the stuff we had with us. Beautifully clean and welcoming inside and out. It was a lovely surprise having everyday essentials already catered for and plenty of toiletries on hand as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Roger and Robyn’s Nest Hideaway to those who value peace and quiet.

Beautiful clear house and Jaymie is very friendly and helpful. We have only suggested to get a toilet paper holder 😜 as there was any. We will come back for another weekend for sure ☺️

Really lovely home and absolutely dog friendly! So grateful for the fully enclosed backyard and even front yard. It gave me a lot of peace of mind. We had the loviest visit there and appreciated so much all the extras in the kitchen - we were right at home!

Great place to stay as a base to enjoy the hunter with some great recommendations from Mark! Place is well equipped, clean and has a lovely deck to sit out and have a bbq in the evenings.

This cottage was very comfortable and such a lovely place to stay. It’s close to everything and easy to access. The cottage is still kept in a lovely condition without being too modern, very old world charm. We loved it and had a more comfortable stay in Cessnock.

Had a fabulous stay, with many hours spent relaxing around the pool and bbq ! A very comfortable well located home with plentiful space for summer fun and entertainment. Proximity to Shoal Bay, numerous beaches and walks provide ample activity for all the family. We hope to be back next year!

This Airbnb is absolutely gorgeous! Despite it being in the back yard of the owners house, it feels completely private and relaxing. The owner is super friendly and even allowed for early check in and late check out due to them not having any back to back bookings. Everything worked well, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Wifi works great which is helpful as the phone reception in this suburb isnt great (for optus at least). The pool was lovely to swim in and felt private. Owner provided us with everything you need in the kitchen, including food and drinks, which were such a lovely touch. There was absolutely nothing to fault about this property and the experience and i would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Caves Beach.

I had an amazing experience staying at Justin’s place! The house was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and the view was outstanding.. The location was perfect, easy to find. Justin was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, fantastic instructions which made our stay so easy. The house had such a homey feel and we made some very special family memories. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town!

We had a lovely stay, the house is spacious, clean and well appointed. The hosts were very helpful in sorting out a minor issue on check in very quickly. The only downside was that the property is on the main road so traffic noise starts early morn (it wasn't so bad overnight) so if you are a light sleeper this might be a problem. Overall the property is exceptionally clean and a lovely place to stay, easily walkable to Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay for eating out, beaches and tours. Thank you to the hosts Rod and Jay for being so helpful and communicative over our stay.

It was good place

The house was perfect for 10 ladies. Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to walk to. The property was immaculate, having the pool available during our stay was a godsend given the heat. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the R&R.

Our stay at Sascha’s Retreat was fantastic! An absolutely amazing property with so much to do that you don’t ever need to leave. It is in a beautiful and private location with views as far as the eye can see, and has everything you need for an action-packed weekend or a peaceful getaway. Stephen was a brilliant host, extremely responsive to any queries, super friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be returning and highly recommend Sascha’s Retreat.

Vanessa place was paradise. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool and hot tub are relaxing. The house it self is beautiful inside and out. It is very comfortable. Vanessa is the hostess with the mostess. Our family of 4 adults and 6 kids could spread out comfortably and have some adult time. The pool area as a great BBQ, & there is great under cover parking. We would recommend Vanessa place to the who are looking for that extra special getaway. We loved it! ….and Vanessa. :)

If you’ve got pets and/or children it is a great option. The space feels very homely and liveable. It doesn’t feel like you’re on egg shells worried if the kids were to make a mess as all floors as floating floor. Close to cafè’s, little shops and entrance to diamond beach, We really liked it and found it a perfect stay for the week.

We had a great stay in Peter's 'shack'! It is bright, spacious and comfortable. Despite hot weather, it receives a lovely cool breeze, keeping the temperature down. Kitchen & bathroom were well stocked & it was peaceful and relaxing to sit out on the deck. Peter was responsive and accommodating and I would definitely stay again on future holidays.

Clean, comfortable and well located accommodation in Merewether. House had everything you could need with furnishings to a very high standard. Easy walking distance to beaches, shops and to Lingard Private Hospital.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning property on Ghinni Ghinni, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. This beautiful, historic home has been impeccably preserved, exuding old-world charm while still offering every comfort we could have hoped for. The attention to detail in maintaining its character was truly impressive. Deb, our host, was nothing short of exceptional. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and ensured our stay was perfect. The property itself was spotlessly clean, which only added to the enjoyment of our time there. We were blown away by how wonderful everything was and can’t thank Deb enough for her hospitality. We had our Great Dane Blu with us and couldn’t have asked for more … She also loved the surrounding and was treated so well…… We would wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—thank you

A beautiful jungle oasis in the middle of Terrigal. Very quick drive to the beach & town. The place was comfy and we felt right at home!

We had a ferocious storm and Roxy turned up to check on us! Lovely responsive hosts and a great house! We will be back.

My elderly parents and their friends stayed at Kate's place and were very happy. The lake is very inviting and the property is close to walking/cycling tracks. Property is very airy, nicely decorated and comfortable. Budgewoi Coles, a fish &chips outlet and a cafe we noticed were close by, and The Entrance and other reserves/activities were not far at all. We would be happy to recommend the property to friends.

We cannot rate this stay high enough. From the outdoor bath, star gazing around the fire, to listening to the rain on the tin roof…..everything was magic. The property is so private and peaceful. Summer was always responsive with her communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. I don’t think I’ve ever stepped into a cleaner home, and it was just such a joy to stay here for the weekend! Thank you for one of the most peaceful, and restful weekends that we’ve had in a long time! We cannot wait to come back!
