I stayed here for a quick one night while hiking the ice age trail. Bonus is that dogs are welcome! Lavernne even had little doggy treat bags for them! House was right on the corner of the Cornell segment of the ice age trail. I got a quick dinner at Dylan’s Dairy. Lots of other local restaurants too. Apartment was exactly as listed. Perfect space for one person and two dogs. Hot shower was appreciated after a days hike. I would def stay here again!

Tim’s place was exactly as described, with all the needed amenities. It was a cute little unit that made you feel right at home. When needed, Tim was always responsive when needed and very helpful and friendly!

We stayed here on out wedding night. Sarah is a sweetheart and let us check in a hour early, so the groom could get ready. The place was very clean and the decor was out of this world! So beautiful! You are right downtown and so close to everything. It was amazing to wake up and see the beautiful fall colors across the street! My husband and I loved this place!

Thank you so much for the stay! The place was great and would definitely stay again. Turtle Lake was a small little peaceful town but had great main road with food options! I appreciated that this stay was a cross between a hotel and Airbnb- as I forgot some shampoo and there was little hotel ones available.

There’s not enough good things I can say about the 3 1/2 days we spent at Sandra’s! It was very well appointed, if we needed it, it was there, and the space was roomy and cozy all at the same time! It took us a few minutes to figure out that the space was behind the street address on Lake Avenue, but even the people we asked for some help were friendly and outgoing! We felt like part of the community from the start!

This is a perfect place for those hiking the Ice Age Trail. It’s right on the trail and right next to the grocery and restaurant. The bed was extremely comfortable and made for a great night of rest between hiking days.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! Was exactly as pictured with the exception of the dining table & chairs. The set in there at present is bigger than pictured with seating for 4. Very convenient for us as we were visiting family that was only 3 miles away. Very clean & comfortable. Loved the huge shower. We will definitely be back. Thanks very much Sheila!

Bob and Lisa's place was perfect! I was there alone, and the space was the perfect size for a solo trip or for a couple to spend a peaceful time away. Bob saw me pull up and greeted me as I arrived, making sure I could get in ok. There was a thoughtful written welcome message on a board outside the door. The lake view and birds were fun to watch (including an eagle that swooped down to snag a branch from the tree for her nest). The place is stocked with everything you need, including snacks and just about every option of coffee making you need. I saw Bob and Lisa enjoying a fire and joined them, having a very pleasant conversation. The neighborhood looks like it would be busy based on the number of houses, but this place is at the end of the road, and there is an ordinance for quiet time at 10pm. It was super peaceful there!

I loved The Perch! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the consideration of not using scented laundry soap and fabric softeners and other scented things! It was so nice to have everything fresh and clean and not smelling like what somebody else thinks is “nice”. Janie was responsive and when I needed help with anything. The place is so cozy and inviting. I hope I have a reason to stay again some time!

Perfect location for our long weekend! Loved being so close to Teal Lake and the variety of boat rental options. The property is private, quiet and easy to navigate. Victoria was very responsive and so incredibly helpful. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and felt like home. Thanks for a great stay and for being an amazing host!

So great that we came here a second time! This property is a slice of heaven. Gorgeous sunset views. Kayaks and paddle boats were perfect for our young family being able to paddle to the sand bars and enjoy the lake. “Serenity” is such a perfect description. We will be back again next summer, Lord willing!
