Great place to be near Cataloochee Area Ski and the Great Smoky Mountais

Chasity was very nice and accommodating. They made sure to turn the heat and lights on for us. It was a perfect location to skiing.

Guests will experience a quiet and very well kept grounds. You may even see an elk wandering around, we did and got some great pictures. I will definitely book again. Next time I would love to try a yurt.

Don was a great host with communication and support. His place is a one of a kind and truly took the time out to make sure we were taken care of throughout our time that was spent there.

Cheryl was so kind and great at responding. We arrived late and had to get on the road fairly early but the area was very nice. I wish we were there at a warmer time and had more time to explore the area and enjoy the other amenities they offered. We hope to come back in the summer time!

Cheryl was a wonderful host she was super friendly and welcoming. My 4 year old was greeted by a bearded dragon and the team sang happy birthday as we checked in. My boys loved meeting all the animals on the ranch. The caboose was well kept and much roomier than expected. I loved seeing bison right out the window.The boys loved sleeping and reading stories in the loft. Everyone had a great time, can’t wait to go back again!

This cabin is a peaceful retreat, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Surrounded by towering trees and the calming sound of water, it’s perfect for unwinding and recharging. The cozy interior is well-maintained, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and large windows showcasing stunning views. We loved the outdoor porch and the large rock by the pond for morning coffee and stargazing. The location is ideal for exploring, relaxing by the fire pit, or simply enjoying the quiet. The hosts were welcoming and quick to respond. A truly refreshing escape—we can’t wait to return!

Great rural off-grid cabin in a beautiful spot in western NC. Heating inside kept us nice and warm in chilly October weather. Very cozy. Wonderful location and easy enough to access even though there are gravel roads. Loved the stove-fired hot tub and fireplace outside. Would stay again and highly recommend.

This lovely cottage was so amazing. We loved being there for the weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return in the future. The kitchen had everything you need for a getaway. The linens were all comfy and great. It was so nice to be welcomed by their sweet dogs and we enjoyed visiting the chickens. It rained while we were there and loved hearing the rain on the metal roof. Claira, Andy and their children were so kind.

We had such a good time. place was well thought out and comfortable. Slept great bed was very nice. Lots of nature. plenty of shopping and really good resturants.

Silvia's tiny home was amazing. It was so "homey" from the moment we walked in. She put so many amenities in this small space. And it didn't feel crowded at all. She thought of EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL! The home was spotless! And the bedding was so comfy. I'll definitely stay there again when we visit WCU.

We were only able to stay one night -husband and I were in town for an event at WCU. We look forward to returning when we can really relax and enjoy the beautiful area. We loved the lights at night and the covered porch area, as well as the firepit area (although due to burn bans, we weren't able to light a fire). The cabin was very nice, perfect size for two of us and our pup. We didn't utilize the kitchen cabin, which was awesome, and had lots of supplies. Very quiet and peaceful; close to Sylva and Dillsboro. Ryan is a great host - he is quick to respond and makes sure you have everything you need. Clean, comfortable and charming.

Loved the stay at Susan's tiny home. Always loved the idea of them, but this is the first time I've ever even been inside one. Loft steps were a little difficult to navigate at first, but got much easier by the end of our stay. Fresh clean (high quality!) towels and HOT shower. Didn't get to use the chiminea, but would have if we had more time. Great area, nice and quiet even if the highway is relatively close by. Lots to do within a mile or two, we did try out one of the local bar and grill spots and had a good time. Overall a great stay, looking forward to our next trip!

The house itself was incredibly well-designed, utilizing every inch of space efficiently, and providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was charming, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Lindsey, the host, went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. She was friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating, offering helpful tips about the area and making sure I had everything I needed. Her attention to detail and personal touches truly made the stay memorable. If you’re considering a tiny house stay, this one—especially with Lindsey as a host—is definitely worth it!

The treehouse was so peaceful and the view was absolutely gorgeous. This is a fantastic place for a quiet time away and a chance to go hike some great trails in the area. My dogs loved it too! Brenna was incredibly responsive and gave great directions to guide us there!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful farm. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and exactly as described, and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The animals were delightful companions, adding a special charm to our visit. The hammock overlooking the valley was heavenly — it felt like floating gently above the trees — and the winding, rushing river nearby was gorgeous and soothing. Everything about this place had a quiet, poignant beauty that lingers. We’d happily return and would recommend this spot wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a calming, memorable getaway.

I stayed at Greg’s property for 2 and a half weeks. It was wonderful. The cabin is cozy and a great location to get out and see the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. Greg a super friendly and interesting guy, with a ton of great stories and experiences to share. He gave awesome suggestions on things to do and was very helpful and responsive with any needs I had. I plan to come back soon and stay with Greg again as there is so much to explore around and Greg was the perfect host.

Really nice place! Listing is accurate! Water wasn’t as hot as I would have liked with the listing stating HOT water. More like warm, but I didn’t complain. Everything else was wonderful. Never stayed in a tiny home before great experience. Very small and unique!

The cabin is so cute and cozy! The beds are very comfortable!! The kids loved the loft!

Evelyn's loft is well appointed for its size, we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and cozy. We loved all the fun decor and being by the river. It's very close to the Gatlinburg arts and crafts community, which we enjoyed. It is about a 40 minute drive to dollywood. It was nice to have the laundry facilities. Our kids loved having the loft all to themselves.
