Simon is a great host. Usually responds within 5-10 minutes with messaging. He is very knowledgeable and Friendly. The surrounding areas are farmland and hills with sheep, horses, and cattle. It is all very beautiful, including a very close-by footpath that overlooks a good bit of it. The area is very quiet also. Walking into town has some really nice views along the way and is approximately 20 minutes. The nearby town is holmfirth which has cafes all over, restaurants, bakeries, and large and small food shops. The drive in is very short and finding parking is only a challenge at busier times of day. Loved it. The flat has everything you’d need in it. It has a big comfortable bed. The views from the flat are exceptional and it is so restfully quiet inside. There was rarely much noise at all from outside unless a bird was perched really close by. There is no microwave in the kitchen but Simon let me borrow his because as i need one to live. Highly recommend.

Lovely property - beautifully decorated with original features and lovely little touches that make it feel like a home. Avril was super responsive and supportive when we needed some help. She genuinely couldn't have been a better host.

Natasha was helpful and responsive- replied within a couple of minutes of my messages. We arrived after midnight and the man at the front desk was so kind and helpful, he even went down to the garage to make sure we got in safely and carried our bags up to the flat for us. My mum was feeling he cold a little (change in season and tired) and Natasha arranged a thick duvet for her, it arrived within an hour of me asking. The flat is spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. I think the only thing missing was a bedside lamp so I could sit up and read in bed but that's no biggie. The flat is right in the middle of Bradford so very easy to get around- we ate at the Karachi (a place my mum used to go to in the 70s!) which was very good and only a short walk away. I was warned about walking alone in Bradford at night but I felt very safe. People were friendly, there was a community police presence on Friday and Saturday night.

Had a lovely stay at Frank's apartment. I think it's even nicer than the photos! Felt really cosy, quiet, had everything I needed and was a real home from home. It was warm, comfy and really made my stay most enjoyable, especially when it snowed heavily. Was really handy to have the parking permit so I knew I could park my car. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. I didn't do much exploring as it was a work stay for a panto contract, but it looks like a great area for a hike and there are some nice restaurants around. Frank was very communicative when I contacted him and gave very clear and informative instructions and guidance on the area and the house. Would definitely book again if I ever come back!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Sunnybank. Emma was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is comfortable clean and very well equipped. It offers private parking and is located within easy walking distance to the centre of Holmfirth a lovely, quirky pennine town with lots of independent shops, cafes and bars!

A fantastic hideaway in the charming town of Holmfirth. The “bunker” is peaceful and private with a tennis court and small gang of chickens to keep you entertained, as well as lots of games, jigsaws, books, DVDs, and Amazon Prime. Great cooking facilities and a lots of natural light coming in to the space. Just a short walk down the hill (5 mins) into the town centre

If you want to truly immerse yourself in the landscape of Brontë country, this place is the dream - the views are breathtaking, and it sits right on the route of the Brontë Way walk. A lot of the fittings (like the wardrobe and window bench) are beautiful as well and add to the character of the place. It's an atmospherically cold and windswept location but you don't have to use the heater very long before the studio warms up, and it retains that warmth well - we never woke up shivering in the night! Simon was really friendly and very helpful with directions, and we felt really well taken care of. We also really enjoyed the studio's selection of books about the area and used them a lot for our walks and trips to Haworth!

Had a fantastic stay in Hebden. The property is so homely and feels like a really authentic experience. There are two main walks into town - a scenic waterside route along the canal and a fantastic one along the main road which takes you past a lot of local homes with displays in the window. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent place to stay for a large group. We were 12 people, including children and a dog. It’s a slightly unusual layout but the communal spaces were cosy, and the bedrooms were spaced in such a way that we didn’t feel on top of each other. The kitchen is excellently stocked and Aftab was really responsive and helpful throughout.

We stayed at Pauls's villa for my 40s. Everyone loved it. The villa is very spacious and great for parties or family gatherings. It is a lovely walk just behind the villa (you can see some animals ). The villa is well equipment lots of pans, plates and glasses. Beautiful garden. Only what I would suggest its to get some garden furniture so guest can enjoy sitting outside while the weather is nice. Thank you for letting us stay at your place.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for us, and the house itself was lovely—very clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family. The decor added a warm touch, and Nazia was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. Would happily stay again!

Lovely place with great amenities and good quality furniture and furnishings. As it’s over 3 floors it’s well laid out. Bathroom s are heat and beds very comfortable. Parking is a bonus too.

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay while visiting the country for the first time. Great place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing and attending the local event that brought us to the area. Location was convenient and we found it very easy to get around by car. Amazing views to top it off.

Gotta say thank you too Curtis me the Mrs when away for a getaway on weekend and it was perfect, the hostel felt warm and homely and everything was as the pictures shown, only think was the fridge is quite a loud humming in the evening but honestly if you put some sleeping music or rain sounds on like we did you don’t even hear it. Deffo would come back and stay again

Lovely apartment and private courtyard in a great location. So close to the town centre, restaurants, bars and train station yet quiet and peaceful. Short walk to Bingley 5 rise Locks, worth a visit. Will stay again! Thanks

Last minute getaway, our first time in Hebden Bridge and we had a lovely time! The Airbnb is in a great location, with free parking which is very convenient. Kate & Ben were lovely hosts, and quick to respond to messages if you need anything. The Airbnb had everything we would need. We would stay again if coming back to the area :)

Jayne was a fantastic host and we had a lovely stay at the Ticking Room! Local pubs & restaurants close by and not far from hiking spots & National Trust sites, such as Malham Cove and Fountains Abbey! The apartment was spotless and had everything you needed, including cookies and fizz, thanks so much for a perfect stay!

Gisela’s flat is in a great location across from the Co-op supermarket and with easy access to nice walks along the canal. Be prepared for lots of stairs because the flat is spread across three floors. There were a few small issues because we arrived the same day a big group left, so we were short a few towels and linens when we first arrived - but Gisela was very helpful and easy to communicate with, so she sorted things out quickly for us. A great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of Hebden Bridge, and are prepared to climb some stairs.

The flat was perfect for our needs- we were in Ilkley for a family funeral and it provided the perfect base. Great location, views of the moor and spacious. Loved the touch of freshly laid eggs!
