3/25-3/29 2025 This was a birthday trip for a set of 10 year old twins and let me just say, our trip couldn’t have been better. From the moment we walked inside and saw the extra special touches that were waiting for the girls with the balloons and sweet message written on the fridge. The home felt very homey and clean. It was everything that was described. We spent our days at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum (which we highly recommend doing both) and this beautiful home is right in between both places so it wasn’t a very far drive. After long days of walking, it was so nice to be able to come back and relax in the hot tub. There was also what we assumed to be the sweetest neighborhood cat that came to visit us each day, which the kids loved. Overall this was a wonderful trip that we all enjoyed very much. We didn’t have any problems or issues so we had no reason to contact the host (Julie) but there’s no doubt in my mind that if we did need to she would’ve responded promptly.

Our family found the Peacock House as we were planning at trip to The Ark Encounter. Our whole family (including our teenagers) loved the Peacock House. It was spacious…yet cozy. It was bright and inviting. I only had a couple of questions…and our hostess answered right away. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and supplies…the coffee supply was a very nice touch. One of my teenage granddaughters thought it was a nice touch that we were invited to the host’s church. Again, a nice and comforting touch. We highly recommend the Peacock House. If we are ever in the area again…Peacock House is where my family wants to stay. Blessings!

The space was perfect for my friends, myself and my dog. The home was very cozy in the living/dining area and the kitchen was great for cooking! I loved that the dining table was large enough for us all to eat together :) We all raved about both showers being excellently clean and enjoyable, the shower supplies also seemed to be high quality! The bedrooms were spacious and clean, everyone had plenty of room for their things. The beds were very comfortable all around. The dog bed in the living room was awesome as I have an elderly dog she’s normally on the floor so her having her own spot was great! The area was excellent and conveniently located to a lot of great restaurants! Street parking was easy we were parked right in front of the house the entire weekend. I would stay here again!

As a family of 8 (6 adults and 2 children 11 mo/10 y) we had the most wonderful stay! The large living room, kitchen and dining space was perfect for all being together while cooking, enjoying a meal and spending time together. The game room with the air hockey was such a hit with our ten year old! All the bedrooms having a private bath was wonderful when everyone had to get ready to go out for the day. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. We had the best time! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

The home was beautiful and peaceful to stay at. The host was wondeful about giving full details to get to the property. The road getting down to it is probably a little intimidating if you are unfamiliar with hilly backroads but we had minimal issues getting to and from. Host left treats and drinks for the stay that everyone appreciated. The sounds of birds, the deer and the tranquil river flowing were a great way to appreciate the simpler parts of life. Would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway. Great neighborhood, lovely restaurants, close to plenty to do but you wouldn't really need to leave if you didnt want to.

We really loved the location of this home as it was exactly in-between Dry Ridge for convenient shopping, and our destination, The Ark Encounter. The road to the home has its twists and turns, but that adds to the Kentucky experience. The home is very private and in a quite neighborhood with a private driveway. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The large dining table was a great meeting place for meal time and we enjoyed the comfy couches when relaxing. Getting ahold of the host was very easy and she responded quickly.

Rodney was a great host, asked us prior to our arrival about any specific needs and followed through with special spices and an extra crockpot that came in handy with our big group meals! The house was beautifully remodeled with elegant touches throughout each of the different floors! The huge yard was perfect for our pooch to explore and we all loved the recreational room filled with many things to do during our weekend stay! Rodney was readily available to assist with the questions we had randomly and was such a friendly and understanding host. We would love to stay again!

This place was perfect for me! I didn't see in the post that it was upstairs, but I'm glad I didn't because I would have kept looking because I have MD and struggle with stairs. Thankfully they were manageable because once I was up there, it was absolutely amazing! The tub is incredibly relaxing and the bed was so comfortable! I had better sleep than I've had in months! There's easy listening music piped throughout the house that plays through speakers in the walls. You can turn it off if you don't want it on, but for me, that was a nice touch. The huge windows provide beautiful views and natural light. Zeke was absolutely amazing! He's super kind and makes sure you have everything you need. I will definitely be staying there again the next time I'm down that way!
