The black cat house was perfect for our needs. Easily accessible, seamless checkin / out, and a great value for the space. Plenty of extra amenities and kid friendly.

This place was beautiful. The pinocle of relaxation; from the hot tub to the claw foot bath, this bathroom is it. We woke up in the morning to a gorgeous view. The coffee they have on stock hit the spot. My husband will now be installing a bidet at our house! We would love to come back in warmer weather!

Had a great 2nd stay! The location is exactly what we look for when visiting the area. Extra towels and clean amenities are always appreciated. The hot tub area is private, the air conditioning is quick and responsive, the sleeping arrangements are incredibly comfortable, and the listing is exactly as noted. The hot water is just enough for one person to get clean before heading out for the day. Thanks for having us back!

we came in for my husbands 50th birthday and needed a place to stay with our family and friends. Was a nice house, easy to get into and had a few things stocked for just incase. clean home and near a lot of restaurants and things to do. If we come back into town would love to stay again. John was very responsive and checked in before we arrived to make sure we have everything.

Great place to stay. Quiet and peaceful backyard setting with fire pit and seating on dock by pond. Home inside was clean, comfortable and amenities were abundant. Probably our favorite place we’ve stayed thus far in Richmond. Will definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful home with fantastic amenities. As the house is located just a short drive from downtown Richmond right off of the James River, it truly is a perfect hybrid for those who want to pursue both city excursions and outdoor adventures. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The hot tub was definitely a highlight! Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Richmond. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with plenty of extra sheets and linens. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, ideal for unwinding, and parking was a breeze with plenty of space right outside. The only downside was the shower water pressure, which was a bit on the weaker side. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but something worth noting for anyone who loves a strong shower flow. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway! Would definitely recommend!

Reagan, thank you for hosting us. Your place was the perfect sanctuary to come home to after a full day of exploring the city of Richmond + the use of the building's gym. Walkable to almost everything we want to see...The State capital, the many parks, the different neighborhoods (so many hidden gems), museums, the city's history and its fabulous restaurants. Restaurant recommendation to other guests: ZZQ (MUST get there early to avoid the out-the-door-down-the-street line) and right next door BrickFire Wood Oven.
