Such a beautiful place! I work remotely and started my days this week sitting in a cozy recliner in the living room watching the sun rise over the lake 😍. Great view of the main lake and a great dock. We were able to drive to the bottom of the hill which made the trip to the dock much easier. BEAUTIFUL porch with hot tub and lots of seating.

Outstanding stay, place is a delightful house and area, would absolutely come back and stay again if ever back in the area

Joy is a great host and has a great property. This is not the first time I’ve stayed at Southern Comfort and hopefully not the last. I can’t stress enough what a “food desert” the area is. I highly recommend brining all of your own food and drink. The very few and far between “restaurants” in the region are absolutely awful and so is the nearest “grocery store”. Other than that, this is a great place to get away for a few days.

The peaceful setting was more than we expected. We had our morning coffee on the screened porch and then enjoyed the doc as we launched for fishing each day. This was so great, we have talked about coming back and just enjoying the peaceful beautiful setting as a quiet retreat weekend!

I love the place the host was very responsible if we needed them they were there their home is beautiful I could and would recommend this home to anyone that wanted just to be at peace I can sit on the back porch look at the lake and just being peace I love their home it was beautiful and I would recommend anyone if they're going to eufaula Alabama this would be a beautiful place for you to come to

This was perfect for our crew to unwind in after a long day on the jobsite. Bobby was so accommodating, friendly, and responsive. We have decided to definitely book through him again.

If you’re thinking about booking this place, just do it! The house is so spacious and clean! It has everything you can think of just about that you would need for your stay. The front porch has 2 rocking chairs, but that’s not where the magic happens. The back porch is nice and shaded with lots of room to sit and spread out. We sat out there in the dark one night, and the stars were just magical! Not only that, we saw 4 big deer come out right beside us. Will definitely recommend and stay here again! Instructions to get there and in were easy, and the host was very friendly and got right back to you. Thanks for some wonderful memories for us!

We had a wonderful stay at Sonna’s property! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with stunning views of the lake, a cozy fire pit, and plenty of outdoor seating areas to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The veranda is perfect for enjoying meals at any time of day, with a lovely view. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we were delighted to find two separate queen-sized beds in one of the bedrooms, which was ideal for our group. If you’re looking for a quiet, serene getaway to connect with nature, this place is highly recommended! One thing to note for future guests: if sharing a house with the hosts (who live on a separate floor with a private entrance) isn’t a concern for you, you’ll truly appreciate the calm and tranquility this place offers. A small suggestion would be to have an Airbnb sign more visible from the road, perhaps near the mailbox, as we had a bit of trouble locating the property at first.

The place was quiet, safe, and secluded surroundings. I was left to be at my leisure, not bothered but I knew she was right next door if I needed anything. Loved it!! I traveled alone and not a young woman. Exactly what I was looking for. Small but cozy. Her personal touches made it feel like I was home and could put my feet up. Don't hesitate to stay here. I will be booking again when I visit family.
