We had a wonderful relaxing weekend away at Sarah's place. The size and layout of the house was perfect for 4 families, including 3 kids who loved having their 'own' room to watch TV. Also appreciated the beautiful views and the cosy indoor fireplace for what turned out to be a nice wet and cold Feb weekend!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Kathy's cottage. She is an incredibly generous host, with her overflowing breakfast basket and antipasto platter and she was also so kind and attentive to the children allowing them to feed her animals and roam the garden. Guildford is a lovely little town with warm, friendly people and we felt so fortunate to have spent a few days based at Kathy's while exploring the region. Thanks Kathy!

Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet weekend get away! It’s basic but awesome, you get sheep coming right up to the house, a winery on the door step and a dam metres away! Loved our stay

Staying at Fiona's was such a beautiful experience. Nestled into a hill with views across beautiful fields and bush environs of Yandoit. From the moment of opening the door the interior spaces were very welcoming. The building has been lovingly restored, adapted and furnished. My partner and I greatly appreciated feeling comfortable to spend time relaxing, cooking and sitting in the garden, and going for walks along the country roads. When we felt like being more social there was the option to drive to nearby towns like Castlemaine and Daylesford. It feels rare to find such a place.

The little miners cottage was an absolute delight to stay in… especially after seeing Sybella Court’s Restoration Australia on ABC following along with all the trials and tribulations to get it to being beautifully restored with so much character. The small lounge and bathroom extension works with the heritage building so well and the landscaping was delightful too! The “kitchen” facilities are tiny but for our overnight stay was enough. The fact that it is a dog friendly stay is an added benefit which we would love to be able to make use of once we get our new puppy.

David was an excellent host: super friendly, clear with all the instructions, and highly responsive. The accommodation was brilliant. Perfect for a restful family get away. A perfect set up for quality family time, and a great base for exploring nearby towns. The house had good amenities and is set within beautiful surrounds. The generous space was excellent for adventurous tweens.

We had a fantastic stay at Renee and Izy's place! It was spacious, comfortable and cosy and in the perfect location to walk just about anywhere in Daylesford. The fireplace was a gorgeous touch! Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for the perfect place to explore this lovely area.

The tiny house is beautiful. It is so peaceful on the property, so if you’re looking for a quiet spot to rest and relax for a weekend, I can highly recommend Ann’s place. Ann is also super friendly and responsive, even meeting us at the gate when we arrived to show us around. As long as you’re prepared to climb a ladder to get into bed, then I can’t think of a better place to unwind and get away from the city.

A beautiful, spacious place to stay for our long weekend. Enough room for three families with kids, and large, open living spaces to relax and play. Kids loved the animals and swings on the property and Ricardo made us very welcome with some treats for our stay. Also well equipped kitchen with plastic cups/bowls for kids and lots of games/toys for kids to enjoy. All had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend. Thanks Ricardo!

9 of us stayed here over a rainy few days for Easter. The house was perfect for relaxing by the fire heater, board games, reading and relaxing. A well-appointed kitchen and a large bbq with a huge timber for large family dining. Bedrooms and beds very comfortable. We loved grocery shopping, cafes and strolling around Creswick just 9 mins drive and also visiting amazing Daylesford about 20 mins away. There’s a great roadside potato stall on the Midland Hwy in Newlyn Nth - you won’t miss it if coming from Ballarat or Creswick.

Beautiful spot to stay and extremely cozy! The kitchen was a fantastic addition to our weekend away and was super well stocked. Liz was a fantastic host with lots of local recommendations and the fresh sourdough loaf on arrival was the cherry on top. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the tiny home on the raspberry farm! The location was perfect, just a short drive from town. The tiny home was cosy, well-equipped, and had a unique charm that made my experience special. I loved picking fresh raspberries right outside my door, it was definitely the highlight. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique getaway!

An amazing very well appointed cottage with every item you could need. For a small two person studio sized cottage it offered enough space both inside and out to chill. Amazing is the best way to describe it. Peaceful, comfortable and fresh & clean. I could only recommend this place highly, for a couple looking for a quiet retreat and peaceful couple of nights it was ideal. Heather was responsive and the whole process was easy. Nestled in the rolling countryside, the villa offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Every detail of the home exudes sophistication—gorgeous French doors, antique furnishings, and a stunning fireplace that made our stay feel like something out of a fairytale. The interiors are impeccably designed, with luxurious linens, chandeliers, and a fully stocked and equipped kitchen perfect for preparing a cozy meal. The outdoor space is just as magical. Waking up to the soft glow of the sun, sipping coffee in the charming veranda and taking in the fresh country air was pure bliss. The beautifully landscaped gardens transport you to France. A must stay for anyone looking for luxury and serenity. Dean was incredibly welcoming providing thoughtful touches like champagne and local bread and cheese on welcome. Already dreaming of our next stay.

Wow! What an absolutely gorgeous place. My partner and I stayed at Janine and Alan's place on the weekend. We were absolutely blown away by how beautiful and clean the property was. Janine's meticulous attention to detail was admirable. We were celebrating my partner's birthday and Janine kindly organised private experiences for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. Janine's communication was great and she was very flexible and accommodating with our requests. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! We absolutely loved our stay at Mystic Views. Claire was so hospitable and the BnB was set up and decorated beautifully. We had breakfast in the garden each day with wildlife and farm animals in nearby paddocks. Beautiful breakfast foods including fresh eggs, cereal and toast in the kitchen. Gorgeous place to stay with comfortable beds also

This accommodation was amazing and perfect for a getaway with close ones! The place was super clean and well furnished, perfecting for hosting. Super easy check in and out as well! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Charter Farm house! The property was beautifully decorated, blending classic old-world charm with modern amenities. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group. The kids loved the trampoline, while the men had a great time on the tennis court. A perfect retreat for families looking to relax and enjoy some outdoor fun. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Cathy’s property, definitely a place I would come back and stay at again. So peaceful & amazing views. We made use of the awesome fire pit out in the garden. Only a few minutes to town so plenty of things to do. Cathy was so lovely and made the whole process a breeze! Thanks from all the footy team xx

Beautiful, relaxing stay. We appreciated the little box of goodies and made great use of the pizza oven (amazing pizzas!) ans sauna. Bellavita has everything you need for a luxurious getaway.

Kylie’s beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations and we wish we could’ve stayed longer! Kylie went above and beyond to accommodate us with our requests and was exceptionally responsive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Just glorious. What a beautiful place to stay. Judy and Neil were lovely hosts and the Great Hall had so many lovely touches, from the expansive range of LPs and CDs, to the styling of the space, to the fresh flowers and Neil's wonderful sourdough. There's obviously so much care and thought put into the space for others to enjoy. The space is gorgeous with the morning light, and wonderful to relax outside in the afternoon. I had every intention of exploring the local area but chose to stay in, reading and enjoying the sounds of the kookaburras and magpies. I feel like I had escaped from the world for a week, not just a weekend. I very much recommend listening to the CDs of Judy and Neil's own music too! I would love to come back again in the colder months to enjoy the fireplace. Even if it's a rainy weekend - to be nestled up in this space, switching off from the world, would be such a treat.
