I have to say The Amethyst was absolutely amazing! The quality of the flat for the value for the money was seriously good! Must say host Savannah was fantastic during the stay as well. If I am back in Cheltenham I will definitely be trying to book this flat and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in Cheltenham area!

I have stayed in quite a few Airbnbs at this point either through my booking or with someone else, I cannot stress enough how fantastic this little place was, and how wonderful Sally and Jonathan were, this was by far the best Airbnb experience I've had. The flat was absolutely perfect, and pristine clean, everything was beautiful and you couldn't have wanted for anything. the location is very central so it isn't quiet but that's what comes from such a great location. I would and intend to stay here again, you couldn't want for anything more.

Lise was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the thoughtfulness in leaving us some milk, food etc. in the fridge, which made us feel very welcome. The flat was very warm and quiet, but also right in the town centre. If you want to enjoy the Brecon Beacons, but to stay in a town with all the facilities, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended. This was our 3rd visit in about 18 months, and the very high standard all round has been maintained. Previously we've come as a couple, but this time a family member came with us, and the 2nd bathroom was a definite benefit. We noticed the lack of wardrobe hanging space in the 2nd bedroom, but there is ample space in the main bedroom wardrobes, plus drawer space and hooks for hanging in the other room; this wasn't a problem for us. We had no need for help from the friendly hosts - they're not intrusive, but very near at hand if required. This was our first visit in the spring (a lovely time to see Ludlow) and the views from the lounge give a great feeling of being in the country, although it doesn't take long to walk to the town centre for the shops, pubs etc. Part of the walk is uphill (a fact of life in Ludlow) but that means it's downhill on the way back from the pub! Had a good dinner at the nearest pub (the Queen's). St Laurence's Church well worth a visit.

Had a lovely stay over Christmas with the family. Chris went out of her way to make it Christmasy by putting up decorations, lights and providing Christmas crackers and a superbly decorated tree. The welcome pack including milk, butter and tea and the mulled wine and chocolates was a wonderful seasonal touch. Would certainly love to stay again.

Beautiful home perfectly located for a weekend away to the Brecon Beacons. The property had a lovely lounge to relax and chill out in and has a HUGE tv! The kitchen is very well appointed and stocked with everything you need. The property had a family bathroom along with a ground floor shower room which was great.The bedrooms were perfect sizes and had lovely blackout blinds. The area was quiet and we didn’t hear a peep out of anyone. We didn’t venture into the garden but at the front of the property the driveway was great to load and unload. If you’re looking to do the five peaks challenge this is the perfect property as it was only a 10 minute drive to the National Park, car park. Thank you to the lovely and very helpful hosts.

Great place to stay in a beautifully located house. Everything was as described and the house had all the amenities for a comfortable stay, only wish we were staying for longer!

Will stay again next time that I’m in Cardiff

This is our second time staying at this property and we loved it just as much as the first time; this time with the addition of my doggies! Perfect location for all our activities for the weekend and we had a lovely time. Brett left us chocolates/sweets on the pillows for us and even a bag of dog treats for the pooches! (Which they thoroughly enjoyed). Even on the weekend Brett still answered my messages which is so kind of him. The stair gate was perfect at keeping the dogs downstairs and the house was perfectly clean, tidy and has plenty of full cupboards and drawers in the kitchen ready for you if you need almost anything! Kindly also left us milk in the fridge and tea bags/coffee for us to use. Also let us use both car spaces outside of the property. Overall Brett is a great host and this is a great listing. In a huge rainstorm the house stayed perfectly warm and comfortable (and dry!). We will be hopefully coming back on future trips here.

We really enjoyed staying at Kit's place. Super clean, bright and homely. Just like the photos. Kit is a great host - great communication with us, always replied promptly and gave us good information. We had a nice welcome: Kit had put the heating on (it was freezing outside) and left us a great welcome pack of drinks and snacks. The location was perfect for us. A short walk to the station. The house had plenty of space for dining and relaxing; the bedrooms had enough clothes-hanging space. The bathroom and kitchen - also spacious - were very clean and bright. The beds were comfortable. We would come here again. Highly recommended.

Wow! You couldn’t wish to find a more beautiful setting for a cosy break in the Cotswolds! We had the most amazing time at the Barn. We stayed for just the weekend but wish we could have stayed for longer. The barn is a stunning renovation in a picturesque setting, immaculately tidy, spacious, beautifully dressed throughout, a little slice of English paradise. Our hosts Becky & Tom were so helpful and lovely, they gave us a host of recommendations, from restaurants, pubs and bars to local farm shops and walks. We were greeted with a variety of local treats on arrival. Communication was fantastic and they made us feel so at home. If you’re looking for a romantic break or a little peaceful getaway, you must visit the barn! We will definitely be returning and can’t thank Becky & Tom enough for making our stay so special. Can’t wait to go back x

We had a lovely stay here! The flat was great and had everything we needed to feel at home, and the location was spot on—super close to everything, with some lovely restaurants close by. Don’t be fooled by the exterior, it really is a great space! Check-in was easy, and the Tony was super helpful. Would 100% stay again!

George is a first class, friendly and thoughtful host who was quick to respond to our messages. Her accommodation is presented to a very high standard and is well equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay. We had an excellent three night stay visiting family and hope to return soon.

I felt very comfortable in the flat and loved the area and the view over the park. Jason was very helpful and responsive to any concerns. I had a great stay and would highly recommend the place!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Sandip was very helpful in terms of written instructions, video instructions & tips, response to written requests and verbal requests for advice. We found a window tricky and Sandip was with us in 20 minutes to sort our difficulty. Sandip was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning.
