Myself and my partner stayed here to celebrate our birthdays. We had a wonderful time and are sad to leave. Hot tub was brilliant - lovely and clean upon arrival. Barn was also clean and tidy. Lots of things to places to eat and drink in Abergavenny. Would 100% recommend stopping here.

We spent a lovely weekend at Dawn's place. Everything was absolutely perfect. Dawn is one of the best host I have ever met on airbnb. The house was well equiped and spotless clean. The hot tube was brilliant and already heated up by the time we arrived. The parking space was secure and big enough for a Defender. BBQ was clean and ready to go with the coal provided. The pub basically next door was great too. I really can't fault the place for anything. It felt like home from the first moment.

Absolutely amazing stay at the Mill Cottage. The whole cottage was immaculately clean and beautifully presented/decorated. The facilities were all amazing. Hosts were so friendly and accommodating, helping with suggestions of activities in the local area and were on hand if we needed anything..This is a host who takes great care and pride in what they offer, please dont hesitate in booking here!

We had a fantastic stay at Susan’s beautiful cottage over the weekend. Check-in was super easy – Susan greeted us on arrival and gave us a quick tour, making sure we knew where everything was and how it all worked. The cottage itself definitely had the wow factor – absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean, and really well looked after. It had such a peaceful, relaxing vibe, which made it the perfect getaway. The hot tub was a real treat! It was already warmed up and ready to use when we arrived, and really easy to operate – a lovely touch that made our stay feel extra special. It’s just a 4-minute drive into the town centre, where we found some lovely cafes and great places to eat. We also spent a day in Ludlow, which was absolutely stunning – well worth the short drive. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with a great host.

Nuthatch is the perfect peaceful place to relax and unwind. The log fired hot tub is really relaxing, particularly after a long dog walk through the forest. We loved the children’s story books for our 2 year old daughter. The wood burning stove was beautiful in the evening and our dog parked himself by it at bedtime. The cottage is cosy, comfortable with a modern wet room shower bathroom downstairs and well equipped kitchen . We thoroughly enjoyed our time and we are hoping to go back again for another family trip away. We did a lovely walk round to Bailsdon and found the Red Hart inn to be an excellent village pub. Meng was a superb helpful and friendly host, super responsive and made our trip really pleasant and memorable. The entire holiday will go down as one of our favourites. We also enjoyed an entire day of just sitting in the garden and watching the world go by. Clear night skies sat in the hot tub spying Mars and Jupiter were an added bonus. Superb place!

We had a lovely stay at Sarah & Mark’s place to celebrate my birthday. A perfect little retreat if you are looking for a bit of rest & relaxation, as well as some beautiful walks and surroundings. The house was wonderful and we loved using the hot tub after some great nearby walks. Sarah was such a great host, super helpful and welcoming, we highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Came for the wife's 30th birthday, the hot tube under the stars was beautiful. Laura was brilliant, always responded to messages in a timely manner. The cider is lovely as well! Make sure to get yourself some. Plenty of walking trails around, our dog loved the place. Also Ewyas Harold, Is pretty local with a couple of nice pubs and a great chippy.

We had such a wonderful stay at Louise and Tom’s cottage this weekend. The cottage itself was immaculate, very cosy and we felt right at home! The surrounding area is lovely, and very peaceful! Perfect for a calm weekend away! Louise and Tom are great hosts, very friendly and responsive and they had thought of everything you’d possibly need in the guest instructions at the cottage. We went to a lovely local pub for food, The Balance Inn. Ludlow is also only a 25 minute drive away which was a nice day out. We have already recommended this place to friends! Thank you so much!

The cottage was extremely cosy indeed and nicely located within Hay-on-Wye. Although there is no private parking, Jo & Mary gave instructions to two free parking areas, both within very easy reach of the cottage. After unloading the car, I parked in a nearby free parking area, close to the Swan Hotel, literally a couple of hundred yards away. The cottage itself provided everything you required and the bedroom and bathroom were a very good size. Going up the stairs to access the bedroom and bathroom, has an 'open plan' type staircase, but Jo & Mary mentioned this in their instructions and we had no problems using that staircase. Someone less abled may do so, but if you check the photos you will be able to see if that staircase is suitable for you. As mentioned, we ourselves had no problems. Hay is beautiful, with plenty of restaurants and cafe's. I recommend the Red Indigo an Indian restaurant, plus had a fantastic evening meal in the Swan Hotel. Also the Granary & Globe were great.

A very comfortable cottage, with a modern kitchen, comfy beds, good shower and easy on road parking.

Beautiful little place to stay not far from Ludlow great for my dogs to enclosed lovely garden will be back

Location was perfect for exploring Ludlow and all of its history and eateries. Close to market square; the castle and was still quiet and peaceful. We forgot our toiletries but fortunately the property is close to all the shops so that was no bother at all. The house itself was the perfect space, especially the enclosed garden for our two dogs. We really appreciated the old fashioned character of the property and would love to come back to Ludlow and stay again.

Great place for peace and quiet. Beautiful cottage surrounded by countryside and wildlife. Only minor point I can comment is on the electric shower. it would be lovely to upgrade to cylinder fed hot water (a mixer tap on bath with shower hose and head is all that's needed) as this didn't quite hit the mark. other than that, all great.

We had an amazing stay at Miriam’s. The place itself is beautiful, gorgeous building and amazing garden which you have exclusive use of. Our dog loved running around and exploring whilst we stayed warm by the firepit. House itself has everything you need if you wanted to cater for yourself while there. We decided to walk to a local pub, about 20 minutes through the scenic countryside. Thoughtful things left by Miriam such as wood for the fire pit, milk and cookies for our stay. We are already thinking about visiting again sometime over summer.

Graig Ddu is a beautiful and peaceful cottage in an amazing setting. The light in the mornings and the birdsong was exceptional - as were the stars at night. Wilma did more than everything to ensure we had a lovely stay and communication was great. The hot water is the hottest I’ve ever enjoyed! We did a great ridge walk in gorgeous Spring on our 2 night stay and enjoyed a pint in Llanthony Priory - just to celebrate St. David’s Day, obvs….. We’ll be back.

Lovely little complex. Well equipped for two people. Great for dog walking. Ludlow only a short drive away as is the amazing Ludlow Farm Shop. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Such a beautiful and relaxing stay at Milll Cottage. So peaceful. Lovely pub a short walk away. Will definitely be returning.

Thanks for a lovely weekend. peaceful location, lovely cottage, a good house for two couples, spotlessly clean - you will need a car of course! Something to bear in mind for those who are similarly not used to lighting fires that we really struggled to light the hot tub and spent many hours doing that instead of hanging out as we'd planned.

Just back from a glorious relaxing (and much needed) weekend at Martins place, it was exactly what was needed. Peaceful, cosy and secluded. The house was beautiful with lovely little extras like board games, toiletries, little nic naks in the kitchen and aside from the amazing, huge and comfortable bed, the best think for me was the huge towels....nothing worse than the tiny ones most places have 🤣 these were great big, wrap around you almost twice, soft, fluffy towels ❤️ We can't recommend anything from the local area, we stayed in with the fire roaring until we left to go home. absolutely wonderful ❤️

Fantastic property, if you are looking for a base to explore this area then look no further. Lots of activities close by and some great pubs too.

Lovely location, we just stayed for quick escape from the city. Lots of green grass, trees, birds, llamas.. what a contrast Also had high speed 100mbps broadband which was great. Not much going on in local town so if I was staying for longer period I'd probably expect a few more streaming options on the TV rather than just the old Freesat

We stayed in Welsh Cottage, a beautifully fitted out tiny cottage, perfectly compact and just right for the two of us and our elderly collie. Modern and comfortable throughout with a lovely view of the garden. Angela and Paul are warm and friendly hosts who had plenty of helpful advice for exploring this beautiful area. We hope to be back soon.

An amazing experience, both the cottage and the hosts are everything that was promised. Susan and James were extremely nice, Susans response time and eagerness is incredible even when troubling them on a Saturday evening for logs. The cottage is surreal with a picturesque stream in the front space which is incredibly peaceful to wake up to and amazing views 360° round. My partner and I would come back here in a heartbeat and the area as a whole has even made me consider moving away from cities and experience places as peaceful as Wales. Overall incredible long weekend, extremely sad to have left but worth while any day of the year. Thank you Susan & James for a wonderful experience.

The lovely Sophie is the heart of the cottage and made our long stay here in the Wye countryside so delightful. Her welcoming spirit and thoughtfulness helped us feel more like friends than lodgers. This charming stone cottage has medieval origins but modern underfloor heating, so we were cosy even in winter. Fast internet and strong cell signal kept our devices connected. The spacious, fully-equipped kitchen was essential for our long stay. Several unique, vintage seating options plus homemade quilts added to the homey, country feel. Lots of dresser and bed drawer space, and the shower has good pressure. The nearness to a market town made it easy to get food and petrol, and as a base for exploring the southwest and Wales, this location can't be beaten. Sophie welcomes lodgers to explore their extensive, magical gardens--do it!!! She also provides a shelf of walking maps and tour guides. All in all, a superb stay that I was sad to leave!
