Incredible place and Brian was so helpful, we would love to return. Instructions regarding pickup at mainland reception were a bit confusing as they denied having anything to do with Airbnb and caused us to almost miss the Barge. The reception at the resort itself were lovely and had keys for us anyway thank goodness. This was the only downside of the entire trip and we’d love to come back!

We loved our time here and it was beautifully presented and surrounded by nature. We had the friendly Kookaburras sitting with us on the deck where we enjoyed relaxing after a day exploring.

Adam was very helpful and proactive when communicating to us. The place was perfect and had everything we needed! Well located and well worth the stay 👌 We had one issue with one of aircon units (no fault of the owner) which Adam tried to help us sort and when he couldn't, we were compensated and they gave us a bottle of wine! Brilliant place to stay, we had an excellent weekend and would certainly stay again. Could not recommend more! Thanks Adam!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolute Perfection! Our family just spent a week at this amazing beach house, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! The home was spacious, relaxing, and beautifully set up—perfect for both adults and kids to unwind and enjoy. There were so many fun things for our little ones to do, and plenty of space for our Rottweiler, Caesar, to roam and feel at home. It truly felt like a blissful escape, coming at the perfect time when we needed it most. The stunning Wide Bay region only added to the experience, making every moment even more special. If you’re looking for a family-friendly, pet-friendly retreat that offers both comfort and fun, this is the place to book! We’re already counting down the days until we can come back. Highly, highly recommend!

Neat little villa on the edge of Kingfisher Bay resort. Loved the setting in the forest, nice views with a glimpse of the sea and a very short walk down to the beach.

Christoulla is such a responsive host, so easy to deal with and even when we needed an extra night, as weather turn and we could not leave, she made all arrangements super easy. It is so great to be in the house where basics are there like enough rubbish bags, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper and shampoo etc for the whole week rather than just for 2 days, since supplies are limited on the island. First property we've been to on island having BBQ which makes cooking diner so easy. Clean super organized property with friendly responsive host. What else to wish for. Thank you.

While a little out of the main tourist strip of Hervey Bay, Kerry and Paul’s place is a very comfortable, in a quiet and charming location, with great views across the sea and countryside. Kerry made us feel very welcome, with wine and breakfast and all the information about what to do and see in the area. While we had a great trip spotting humpback whales and calves out in the sea, a trip to Dundowran beach at Craignish is well worthwhile to see the tiny bubble crabs skittering across the tidal flats - quite amazing! Altogether a great place to stay👍
