A Truly Magical Escape – Frog Mountain Stole Our Hearts Wow, some places truly touch your soul, and Frog Mountain is one of them. You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

After quite a bit of searching on line, I kept coming back to The Retreat, as it really stood out. It was exactly as it looks on the listing, smart, stylish, spacious and with everything you could possibly need if you were living there. Your basic holiday rental it definitely was not. The views on all sides were beautiful, the large bed comfortable, a great outdoor terrace with huge table, and the addition of being able to use the pool at the lovely hotel so close was absolutely perfect. It felt like a really luxurious spa break, though slightly removed and entirely peaceful. Incredible attention to detail and care for their guests.

Greg & Sam, are amazing hosts. They let me know which dirt roads are the best for travel and kept me up to date with information about the area. As a keen hiker, I was invited to hike with them in Rooiberg Mountains and experience its pristine beauty, which is food of the soul. Thank you for the generosity of sharing veggies from your garden, and gift of staying at the Happy Place!

Our stay at Mariaan’s place in Stilbaai was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, making it so easy to enjoy the seaside whenever we wanted. The fresh ocean air was invigorating and really added to the whole experience. My family had a fantastic time! Thank you, Mariaan, for providing such a wonderful place for us to stay. An absolute must stay, this place is a gem. Really tucked away in the countryside of South Africa, it felt like a real haven to totally relax in. Super communication, instructions, clean accommodation with everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Our stay of 3 nights was absolutely wonderful in every respect, the place is idyllic, peaceful and a good place to let go of all stresses , the lovely accommodation bears testament to the efforts of Gabriella & Steven and their team, every little detail beautifully sorted, lots of handmade items , the unit was excellent with everything we (and our choc lab dog) needed. The outside hot tub under the newly in-leaf pin oak under a rising full moon was magical and complemented a fabulous holiday Well done, we will definitely visit again, next time with some of our grand-children.

Natalie is an excellent communicator and highly responsive, making interactions smooth and hassle-free. She is incredibly helpful, considerate, and genuinely friendly. The village where her property is located offers a peaceful, safe, and picturesque environment. Her home exudes charm and character, adding a unique touch to the stay.

If you like nature, peace and lots of privacy, The Eye is a great place in the Little Karoo. We enjoyed the cozy house with everything you need. The plunge pool is a welcome bonus and Lizelle is a very nice host. This is definitely a place that is worth visiting for us next time.

What stood out for us at Riverridge View, apart from a great location, were the people / staff. We had a few minor niggles with the cottage which were dealt with rapidly by owners Izelle and and Courtenay. They are excellent accommodating and responsive hosts, and we can only recommend Riverridge View for a stay. Our thanks to the two staff members who are in attendance to asisst.

Great location and views. The place is comfortable with everything needed as described, it does however need a little TLC and general maintenance on things like loose taps, wonky outside braai (broken wheels), etc

Charmaine and Paul were both super friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed, including lovely views of the mountain! Very modern and clean, with those of great reading material about what to do in the surrounding areas. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Carin's place in Still Bay. It is a bit rustic, but it was clean and neat our family enjoyed the location on a superb beach. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor shower. We appreciated Carin's help with a few issues and some items we left behind. Thanks Carin!

Jenny's Cottage is located right outside the entrance of the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, making it the perfect getaway if you want to immersive yourself in nature. The space was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. Aileen was a great host - she was friendly and responsive and gave us many great recommendations of things to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Anel’s charming rustic cottage. Loved the outdoor area and all the lush greenery. The pool table added a fun element to our night. Anel was very responsive and a great host.

We really had an amazing stay in Still Bay. Kids loved it. Perfect location. Minet is a great host and really friendly. Will definitely return to StillCreek in the near future. Great for families with kids!

Loved our stay at ‘Be my guest’. Beautiful decor and very inviting spaces, both indoor and outdoor. Super comfy beds & pillows. Great location, within close proximity of great restaurants and cafes. Nicole’s accommodation was the perfect spot to explore wonderful Stilbaai from. Would recommend anytime!
