The place is comfortable and spacious and we had a great time. Particularly appreciated the modern and spacious fridge as we needed to store a lot of food for the weekend :) The garden is amazing and the pool was great if a bit cold.

We had a wonderful time at David's cottage and would definitely recommend this spot. There's heaps to do in the surrounding areas but just chilling out and disconnecting and exploring the farm is enough! Thank you Colleen and Janie.

Great to stay in a quiet street, the kids could play outside without any worries! Lovely family home and well equipped with all the requirements. River within walking distance and lovely views of the lagoon. Annalie and her team are great hosts!

absolutely amazing space! quiet, private and picturesque. what a wonderful space to get away from the city and relax in nature. the river access is amazing and the amenities include everything you could need. access to the property is a bit bumpy for normal sedan cars but we made it nonetheless. thank you so much Piers and family! amazing stay will definately be back

This is our second time at Staples House, it has been improved since our first stay - would definitely recommend it for anyone that needs a true break from the city in peaceful surroundings. Louise was a super helpful host, thanks so much.

One of the most amazing places. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights and it definitely wasn't long enough! The home itself was very substantial and had everything needed. It was situated in one of the most beautiful places with a dam and lovely wildlife. A lovely place for a break away. Would definitely go back again!

Large farmhouse on a peaceful farm with a great view of the river below. The sheep and goats walked past the house every day and the kids loved seeing the animals. An authentic farmhouse kitchen with everything you need. Very nice braai area with large veranda and it’s own small swimming pool for hot days. A very relaxing stay away from the city buzz.

Wonderful stay at David’s house, which is very spacious and has everything one could need for self-catering. David is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again if travelling to Stilbaai.

We had the most wonderful time away! So beautiful and peaceful as well as feeling totally private. The only issue we had was not staying long enough! The area is totally secure for your dogs to wander around with you. Only thing we had thought was that the cattle etc were closer to the property from the photos but we didn't see them which was a good thing as we then didn't need worry too much for our dog. We would definitely want to come back! For longer next time.

Great location near the dunes, house has everything you need. Treats were left for us as a welcoming gift and Philippa was a wonderful host.

Check in war sehr flexibel, er hat uns persönlich in Empfang genommen und uns alles gezeigt, erklärt und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen gemacht. Und ich will nicht zu viel verraten, aber auch etwas selbst gebackenes von Steven hat uns das Abendessen bereichert. Vielen Dank :) Unterkunft ist sehr schön, entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Landschaft ringsherum ist ruhig, schöne Aussicht. Sehr empfehlenswert. Besten Dank Wolf

Lovely cottage, well situated, clean neat and well equipped for a lovely get away. Really enjoyed staying there.

The Withuis cottage is an underrated treasure! The cottage was beautifully furnished with all the little luxuries of home and the location will be hard to beat. The cottage is private and the deck is perfect for leisurely braais and enjoying the sunset. Our dog enjoyed the freedom of the farm’s open spaces as well. The Warmwaterberg Spa is a quick 20 min drive away and there is a lot of Karoo hospitality to enjoy in the area. Will be back soon!

Unbelievable place on the water with easy access to the Hotel restuarant and bar and very convenient when you have a boat and love to use the river. The host Andrea was also super helpful. Will def be back

We had a fantastic stay in Cottage 5 in mid-June, it was lovely and cosy for family of 3. The fire place kept us warm and there was so much to do on the farm to keep a little one busy, short hikes, jungle gym, safe place to ride up and down on a bicycle. We had a lovely game trip around the farm by Michael, the farm manager. Great friendly host by Michael, always keen to chat and share story's about the farm animals. We did a short trip into Swellendam dam, which was very memorable as well. We will definitely be back with more friends and family.

What a wonderful stat!! We absolutely loved the cottage feel with the quiet and remote location. The lapa/pool area was amazing and we spent happy days swimming and evening braais while stargazing. Close to stilbaai for outings and great to come back to the farm to relax. Erica and her staff were absolutely amazing, so welcoming and willing to make us comfortable in any way. Highly recommended!!

Wir waren leider nur für eine Übernachtung in Natalie`s Cottage, das wir aber sehr empfehlen können. Liebevoll eingerichtet, große Räume, gute Ausstattung, tolle Terrasse mit schönem Garten, Parkplatz auf abgeschlossenem Gelände. Viele Vögel zu beobachten. Wir würden äußerst freundlich empfangen, sowohl von Natalie als auch von ihrem Team. Frische Blumen, frisches Brot, Obst und Kuchen wurden zur Verfügung gestellt. Es war einfach toll. Vielen lieben Dank an Natalie.

If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, with a wonderful farm atmosphere then you will love this place, the trampoline, jungle gym, pool and open space is more than enough to keep kids occupied, all in all a relaxing retreat with everything you need to feel at home away from home.

I rented the guest room in Gila's beautiful home. I felt at home immediately and immersed myself in the surroundings, both inside the artistically decorated home as well the carefully cultivated, lush garden. Whether you rent the entire home or the guest room, your need of rest, peace and reflection will be fulfilled.

Wonderful disconnecting from the Rat Race and spend time with family and friends on the farm. Beautiful location, lovely big farm house surrounded by green, rolling, fields… bliss!
