The pictures dont do the house justice, because you just cant feel the homely atmosphere you get when you walk in and stay there. We had the most amazing time at the house, and everything we needed was available from food, to entertainment, to a camp cot! An absolute gem and we will be back next year

The Tile House was delightful and had everything we needed. Shannon's guidance and recommendations were unmatched; never before has a host taken such care and consideration. The river was our playground with scenic views and cool drifting on the boogie boards provided; a real kid pleaser! We expected a sleepy getaway and found ourselves in an adventure. The property overlooks the small town's main road, which bustles and has some truckers go by. The pony experience also lived up to our expectations.

We had a beautiful 4 night stay in this idyllic place. Stephen and Clarise were so accomodating and very explanatory about all the ins and outs of check in and check out. The setting along with the exquisite decor made for a super relaxed family (and doggie friendly) holiday. We will definitely be back very soon!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Stilbaai recently and Chrissie's place was the perfect spot for our large group. Every bedroom had an en suite bathroom, which was a major plus! The kitchen was very well stocked and the large dining table was perfect again for hosting family as we celebrated a special family birthday. The outside braai room was also a lovely place to relax and the option of an indoor or outdoor braai area gave us plenty of flexibility. We will definitely be hoping to visit again and bring more of our family along as well for a longer stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our farm stay with Braham. The peaceful setting, fresh air, and quiet distance from town created a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay. Thank you Braham.

Jonathan and Rosie were excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is new and spacious, even more so than shown on the listing. I loved the shower! It's a lovely open, uncluttered space with everything you need. We were able to take our two dogs and enjoyed walks nearby. The perfect getaway!

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

We really enjoyed our stay at Karen’s place. The cottage was extremely comfortable and we loved the private outdoor space. Karen’s son Scott was really helpful with directions and recommendations.

Micheal-Adam is a very attentive host with knowledge of his town. The unit was neat and in pristine condition with high quality linen. I will recommend a stay with Micheal-Adam anytime. We will definitely go back there.

If you want to experience peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Make sure not to drive off the road for any looming cattle, as you might get stuck ( we did ) but if you do, there are friendly neighbours to help. As a family, we got to connect on another level as there are no distractions, which is really something we longed for together with new memories that would last a lifetime. A very special part of the Karoo. A quiet little hamlet of units scattered on an organic focused farm with vast expanses of Karoo for those long walks but a lovely “old French farm garden” feel when you walk the gardens, and groves. A small group of sanctuary animals roam about which adds to the love and care you feel up there. Just good people doing kind good things. What a pleasure as well to meet Louise and Ricky.
