One of the best places we have ever stayed in for one of our regular meets. The heated swimming pool was the main reason we chose it. It was also very spacious, clean and in a great location. Will be back soon!

Fantastic accommodation and great facilities. The whole family loved the pool, hot tub and the pizza shack! Beds really comfy. Definitely recommend!

We had a big family gathering with lots of coming and going over four nights. Sue was really kind - from unexpected dogs to over enthusiastic kids, we couldn’t have asked for better, more patient hosts. Really special weekend for lots of reasons and very grateful for such a lovely place to stay.

we had a lovely stay - as we always do in the various properties this host owns super spacious always really responsive if we have any issues / questions. lovely amenities and surrounding area. WiFi was a bit slow but it probably can't be helped with it being a rural area and a large property

We have stayed at numerous Airbnb’s, finally we have found one that matches the description. In fact the lodge exceeds the description. Jo was friendly and approachable. Kept in touch prior to the stay and available throughout. The lodge is set in the grounds of the family home. The grounds are lovely and add to the experience. The lodge itself is laid out perfectly from the open plan living/kitchen area to the spacious bedrooms, large bathroom and an upstairs snug which overlooks the garden and park. Super clean! Not a water mark or dust anywhere. The bedding smells fresh and is ironed. Tasteful furniture and decor. TV’s in each room. Overall we felt the lodge had a lovely homely feeling. It was a perfect stay. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Jo & Jules.

Claire's house was absolutely perfect. What an incredible host. She left us some bread and milk for us when we got there. Her instructions to get to the house were so easy to follow. This was a gorgeous place to stay in York. Easy reach to the town and a lovely quiet street. The decor was so lovely and calming. Beds so comfortable. Just a perfect place and just cannot fault it one bit. Look no further when you want a place to stay in York. Thank you Claire for being so amazing and helpful and accommodating. Very good stay, even when something was needed it was sorted quickly. Good location for pub and easy to get into town or other local areas.

An absolute gem of a place! It's so close to all the amenities you need but feels so peaceful and idyllic at the same time. Christina was an amazing host and accommodated us in every possible way. Can't wait till we get to visit again!!

We had a lovely stay at this annex. We had pretty much everything we could need. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. The annex was clean and well-presented. It was a bit cold in the annex but there was a heater and an electric blanket in the bed.

Pros Lovely big house great for groups Plenty living space and bedrooms Cons Location next to dual carriageway and McDonald’s. Fine for us as it’s winter so didn’t use the outside spaces but would have been disappointed if we’d visited in summer and wanted to sit outside. Bed in main bedroom was uncomfortable Garden was being used by nursery on the morning we were leaving before check out time
