What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

having been let down by our original holiday home we needed a place to stay at very short notice. we inquired about maple house and within 2 hours we were actually in the property. fabulous help and service from the team there.

All as described. House was well equipped and very clean and tidy. Area was peaceful and we managed to park outside the door. Earlier check in agreed which was very beneficial to us. Throughout the whole process Michael was very responsive. The visitors book provided all the information needed, with lots of suggestions for things to do in and around the area. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this property as it was convenient for exploring the city without being ‘in the city’.

We had a great stay. The flat was spotlessly clean with lovely personal touches like fresh flowers and fruit too 😊 we had everything we needed, including tea and coffee, shampoo and shower gel, and freshly laundered towels. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

The Farmhouse (and annexe) were EXCEPTIONAL! We gather as a group of friends on an annual basis and this was by far the best house we have stayed in. We found the property to be spotlessly clean on arrival, welcoming - owing to the generous welcome hamper - and ideally located for exploring York and the surrounding areas. The proximity to nearby amenities (like M&S Food and a petrol station) was convenient, but by far the greatest advantage of the location was the ease of catching the bus into town - it leaves, pretty much, from the end of the driveway and takes 10 minutes to reach York centre. The house perfectly met our needs - it was spacious, tastefully decorated, and provided an excellent social space for our group, while also allowing for privacy when required. Julie was superb at responding to any queries before and during our stay and made us feel very welcome. Excellent in every respect!

The house was as described, in a brilliant location for visiting York centre & the racecourse for Park Run. We had everything we needed at Paul’s house, it was warm and cosy and the welcome treats were lovely. We may return another time!

The accommodation was lovely and very homely. We felt very comfortable there and it was an ideal spot for walking into the city centre. The hosts were very helpful and proactive and enabled us to have a very pleasant experience.

Perfect location, easy to walk to all the best spots in York. Beautiful, charming and spacious apartment for one or two people. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked well equipped with ample counter space and seating. Bed was very comfy. Would stay here again

Our stay was perfect. The location is amazing, right in the heart of York and a short walk to York Minster, which we did every day to “check on her”! Eating places and pubs all close by and in the same street too. Just a wonderful experience in this beautiful medieval city. Highly recommend. And on a clear day you can see York Minster through the roof windows which was delightful.

Lovely weekend stay in Harrogate - perfect location to walk to the centre and restaurants. Apartment was very clean and cosy, and it was very helpful having the parking permit to park directly out the front. Would highly recommend for any couple wanting to visit Harrogate for a few days.

Darren and Matt were both extremely accommodating and the apartment couldn't have been better. The location was perfect, plenty of space in the apartment and a nice balcony to sit out on as well! If I was to stay in Leeds again, I would 100% book this apartment again.

What a wonderful apartment and so close to the centre. This was a gift for my mum for Christmas who’s never been to York. My mum has to use a wheelchair and this was perfect for accessibility and allowed us to venture into the city easily. What a wonderful host, small touches like leaving milk, juice, snacks and a nice bottle of wine made us smile. I would definitely stay here again Thank you ☺️

Frank’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It is exactly as described, so if you like what you see you should book it. The location was great, really close to attractions but very quiet at night.

The flat was perfect for our 3-day stay. Bright and spacious, warm and comfortable. About 10 minutes walk from the Minster, and 15 minutes from the station. Parking is round the back, and was easy and accessible. Alison's communication was good, and she left us various goodies (plus milk), which were very much appreciated

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay in York . Clean and essentials left for us . Super safe parking . Everything within walking distance but it was a nice quiet area you couldn’t ask for more to be honest. If we visited York again we wouldn’t bother looking elsewhere we would just rebook here . Dagi was very communicative on every stage of our arrival, stay and departure. So thankyou both for making our stay in York very comfortable and hassle free . Absolutely loved it .

I booked a weekend at Diane’s place for my parents, they had nothing but wonderful things to say, the space was spotless & the welcome gifts was highly appreciated, thank you. mum FaceTimed me showing me round & the place looked exactly like photos, my parents loved it. They went out to eat & drink at Omni & loved the vibe in there, they also visited the market & said it was great (they brought me back some gorgeous cannolis) They said it was right up their street, thank you Diane for the fab weekend of peace & quiet away from the grandkids ! I would recommend Diane’s place to anyone looking to visit Malton x

A lovely 2b1b flat, perfect for a family weekend trip. Although it's close to the road and railway (not very busy ones), noise wasn’t an issue at all for me—I slept soundly. The only challenge I encountered was the location accuracy: the pin on the map wasn’t precise, and searching the first line of the address on Google Maps didn’t lead to the correct spot. Fortunately, I found it using the postcode—kudos to the UK's excellent postcode system! The location is quite convenient, about a 7-minute walk to the town centre—far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle yet still accessible. It’s also around a 15-minute walk from York train station. The heating system is strong and keeps the flat warm, especially in the bathroom. However, a minor quirk: the smaller bedroom tends to be warmer than the larger one, likely because the only temperature sensor is in the hallway. Overall, a great stay that offers fairly good value for money, with just a few minor quirks that are easy to overlook.

Perfect location for exploring York centre, 5-10 minute walk. Car park was expensive at £20 a day, but the accomodation being reasonably priced made this acceptable! The place itself is very clean and nicely decorated, also has everything you need. Plenty of food shops to choose from within walking distance. Car park and accomodation were easy to find, phone map takes you straight there. Checking in is easy, info is very clear. Really pleased we booked this place as we had a lovely two night stay. Would definitely recommend.

Checkout your bearings in terms of parking location, which is definitely a premium in this area, being so close to the Minster. We had a big car which we managed to park okay but it's tight. Otherwise, we were in walking distance of all amenities and places of interest - a fantastic location. Would definitely book again.
