Lovely cottage - in the best place. We’ve stayed all over Polruan, we’ll stay here again.

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

Wendy’s house is a delight, overlooking the sea at Hope Cove. We went in off season, but local pub was open. The accommodation is exactly as described, warm, comfortable and in a great location- the local roads are a bit narrow though!! Easy drive to Salcombe. I would imagine it gets very busy here in the summer as it is such a lovely area.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It’s on a really quiet road, but was only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Dawlish and the seafront. The property itself was lovely, very clean and furnished to a good standard. Would definitely recommend!!

Really enjoyed our stay, considering we booked last minute, Matthew was hugely responsive and flexible allowing us to squeeze in our booking during February half term. The property was clean, well presented with a welcoming bottle of wine on arrival. The beds were extremely comfy and views are fantastic even in February. The wood burner/fireplace offered some cosy comfort in the late evening. Local restaurants are walking distance as is the beach. Highly recommend the Beach House as a place to eat / drink.

We had another enjoyable and outstanding stay at Jamie & Tara's! On arrival, Jamie & Tara were there to meet us, as usual. They've become like friends now. We loved the gorgeous views from the panoramic windows and watching the world go by. It was spotlessly clean as per usual. Jamie's Dad gave us a tip as to where to park in Looe - such a lovely gent! We love the location of this place and how close it is to the beach - Coco (our dog) knew exactly where she was and couldn't wait to get down there. If you are in two minds as to whether to book this or not - don't be, it's exactly as per the photo's. Jamie & Tara are fantastic hosts - they are on hand should you need them and are quick at responding.

Jen and her parents were very accommodating with a few special needs I had and they decorated the place and made it all special for the Christmas period. Would definitely recommend!

Helen’s places was one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I have stayed in. A short distance from the costal path and within walking distance of Brixham harbour. I would highly recommend it.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The apartment had top quality furnishings and fittings, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee. We loved the balcony and window seat from which we read our books and watched the world go by. There’s an on-site Leisure Club which looked great though we didn’t use it on this occasion other than for a good meal in the Deck where staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a trip to Burgh Island on the sea tractor for lunch and Afternoon Tea and what a treat! Staff were delightful, the food and drinks delicious and the decor superb! With good walks on the doorstep and easy access to the beach this is an ideal place to visit at any time of year. Christopher and Tanya were excellent hosts, gave clear access instructions and responded quickly to our queries. Thank you once again and hope to return one day:) Roger & Jennette

It was a pleasant stay!

This has been our second stay at Toms place. We have loved it just as much as the first. Our party were 3 adults and 2 children (aged 3 and 5). It is ideally situated on the park to feel private, yet not have to walk far for the pool and kids play park. The accommodation is well maintained and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. We found that there were plenty of local supermarkets to get supplies in, but they do need to be accessed via car (only about 5 mins drive away) But there is a spar shop 10 minute walk away if the site shop is closed. We didn’t need to contact Tom whilst we were there, but we did drop him a courtesy message to say we were leaving and he responded very quickly. Thanks again for a wonderful stay

Absolutely fabulous place! Listing was accurate, instructions were clear, and the location and apartment were superb. Would stay again and hope to be back! Love this area and the privacy that the apartment afforded on the balcony was peaceful. Nicki was a fantastic host and so responsive!

Berry cottage; our Christmas miracle. It is very comfortable and cosy with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, we even booked an extra 2 nights.

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

Felt like home away from home and we had a wonderful stay. Natalie was super responsive and accommodated and early check in too. There were tea bags etc in the house which is always great. Everything was clean and tidy and we wished we could have stayed longer. Used the hot tub a few times (though you do have to walk out the front door into the street to get to the back garden which was a laugh in our swimwear). A great location right on the lake and beach. There is a cafe and a local pub, but we wished there were a few more options within walking distance. Would highly recommend and will perhaps visit again one day.

Fantastic stay for a big group. Each bedroom was set up for double beds with en-suites which was ideal. The kitchen and dining room was perfect for a social dinning experience. The lounge was big but was very cosy (also a great tv). The parking was tough but some of us parked right up the road in a quiet neighbourhood for free. Plenty to do in the local area, 3 pubs, monkey zoo, secluded beach, Teignmouth with much more across the river. Would highly recommend for a big family or group of friends. 👌🏼

Beryl’s house is full of light and has stunning sea views from both rooms. It was cosy in the evenings and we loved sitting on the terrace enjoying the sunsets. The location is fabulous for the coastal paths and it is an easy walk to Hope Cove. We also enjoyed our trip into Salcombe and a delicious lunch at the Crab Shack. Thank you for a wonderful break.

We love Kingsand and Storm Cottage, this was our 3 rd visit .......says it all!

A lovely find, perfect for a quiet visit to Plymouth. The ferry ride across to the Barbican was fun where we found some lovely individual shops, restaurants and bars. We will definitely return, as Sophie’s accommodation was perfect. The best welcome hamper I have ever had, including the toiletries and slippers. Spotlessly clean, and well equipped. Parking space was a bonus.

Really spacious, warm and comfortable with fantastic views - convenient for the ferry, the shop and the pub and well placed for walks Beds were comfortable and the interior was stylish and pleasing - bigger than expected from the pictures and as good as any place we’ve rented in Polruan previously Beds just inside the entrance perhaps would make it less appealing to 6 adults but was fine for us as we were a smaller party and used the 2 other sizeable bedrooms William was a very good communicator and sorted an electrical problem we had very promptly (we didn’t notice where the fuse box was) Would definitely stay again!
