Was a great place to stop - beautiful scenery off the porch, made our own dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great spot!

Clean and tidy, great views of the estuary and ocean, very quiet and peaceful.

What a great place to stay! Lush gardens, pretty house, heaps of room for the kids and everything we needed. The local area has plenty to do. We stayed 2 weeks and it wasn't long enough.

Jaye and Brent helped us out when we got stuck on the beach above and beyond. Also gave us fresh fish the first night awesome. We loved them and the lodge so much we stayed an extra night. The scenery and views are absolutely stunning. We will be going back with friends. Thanks Jaye lots of love Shaz and Paul

We attended a whānau wedding anniversary so we booked Fiona’s place so we could have our own space and basically just used the property to sleep at. It was very clean, spacious and quiet, just what we needed. Fiona was a great host and responded promptly (I failed at turning the tv on). I would highly recommend this property, it had everything you needed, separate laundry and the lawns and gardens were well kept.

Thanks for having us! On arrival we were incredibly surprised by the beach being almost at the door step was able to experience the sunset and the sunrise with only a 2 minute walk (if that) which was priceless! The place itself was comfortable from the warm greeting on arrival, the amenities, the bed and the lovely hosts! Was a wonderful stay, thanks again!

A really peaceful and beautiful place to stay. A warm welcome by the host and the dog. So much history in the area and very friendly people. Loved it. Great meals at the local hotel.

The setting was absolutely amazing, beautiful view and beautiful sounds of waves. With shops and cafes close by. The accommodation was lovely perfect for a couple, was nice and small but also spacious. The couch was abit uncomfortable and very small but the bed is amazing and soft. The outside deck was amazing perfect for dinner outdoors, the blinds that go down is a great touch. Definitely made mine and my partners first anniversary memorable x

We had the most wonderful stay at Aisling’s home! The house was perfectly situated, just a stone’s throw from the beach and only a short 6-8 minute drive to Opotiki township. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. The doors and windows leading out to the deck were a highlight, allowing the fresh air to flow through the home. The deck itself was perfect for relaxing, whether it was sipping morning coffee or enjoying dinner with family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was an ample supply of bedding, which added an extra layer of comfort. The entire home exceeded my expectations, and my family thoroughly enjoyed our 2-week stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend Aisling’s home – it’s a true gem!
