The house was nice and looked like the pictures. I think it had not been stayed in for a little bit before our check in as it had a little musty smell , but we opened the windows and it cleared out quickly. Myla was very responsive with the couple of requests we had during our stay The property is nice, but small backyard as most of the space is in the front. The driveway was as described - definitely a hill :) The closest town is Summersville which has everything you need for a week away. Nothing that Myla could prevent but there are dogs at the corner who bark ALOT! Just a heads up in case you bring a dog who barks when they hear other dogs barking.

Very nice super easy instructions our host was very quick with messaging back.

Second time staying here we loved it all except hearing bats in the wall at night but Ethan ensured us he would have it taken care of. Will definitely be back

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our getaway! The space was airy, and beautifully designed. We especially loved the comfortable beds and the peaceful outdoor patio - it was the perfect spot to relax. The location was quiet and private, which is what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area, and plenty of storage space. We felt right at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay here again!"

This was the second time I’ve rented this place for my family’s new year’s getaway . My family loves it here. Very quiet,relaxing and lots of room. Plus it’s not that far from town to run and pick up extra supplies. Owner is very nice and very responsive if you are in need of anything. Would definitely use again.

We loved this house! It is BEAUTIFUL, and my group definitely wants to stay here again! We traveled from the PGH area for the Mount Nebo St. Patty's Day parade at the Tractor Bar. On Friday, we enjoyed the hot tub, laid out in the yard while sipping drinks in the sunshine, used the kitchen to make a nice family dinner, loved seeing all the deer in the yard, watched a movie, etc. Saturday was parade day, so we were tied up with that all day! The home is spacious! We only had 5 people, but this place is set up to accommodate many more! Grab some friends and go enjoy this house, because it's worth every penny! The hosts are great! They're very responsive, accommodating, considerate, etc. I'm very pleased with their communication and flexibility. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I stayed with my 11 year old son and we had a great few days! The cabin is small, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Having the deck and hot tub was great! We arrived late but Brenda was helpful in explaining how we would check in and get access, and everything was pretty easy. The GPS was confusing at times, but google maps eventually got us there to the resort welcome center. We knew this going in so had printed some directions, it was just tricky in the dark. Was great to be able to drive to many of the hiking trails and other excursions within 10-15 min. Overall, was a great stay and would stay here again!

We had a great time. The unfortunate situation was what we chose to stay in which was the only reason we went there had a frozen pipe issue. The cabin was originally from 1840 but we had to stay in a more modern one. They did upgrade us to a bigger cabin but it was only two of us. We did have our hearts set on staying at the original one we chose. It worked out we had a good time actually there was nobody else there and it was very peaceful. He did communicate with us unfortunately it was through email and we were on the road and I did not see it till we got there. Once again it was a good time though.

Nice place to relax after a days work outside. Good restaurants close by. Much better than a hotel. Beds were comfortable. Layout was great.

This little cabin pretty much met expectations! I wish there was more of a kitchen, but I knew that it was just a kitchenette going into it so it met expectations. It being so close to the parking lot for the endless wall was quite nice.

The Red Oak Lodge is a great place to stay when visiting the New River Gorge National Park and all the surrounding attractions. The location couldn’t be better! The Cabin is comfortable and modern with all the extras you look for in a vacation rental. The host was very professional and prompt with a response to any question. You will definitely enjoy yourself on a stay in this wonderful rental.

We felt right at home here. Our two little city dogs had the best time in the fenced yard. They were able to run and play and we were not worried they would escape. We enjoyed both decks and spent quite a bit of time on them. We enjoyed listening to the river across the street. We were easily able to cook our meals here as everything we could have needed was available. It was only my husband and I, so we didn't take advantage of the basement area as we could have, but we did play a round of pool. Overall, we would gladly come back again in a heartbeat.

Very convenient to New River Gorge, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, and so much more. The land on the property is worth seeing, so beautiful! Christy was fast to respond and the home had anything you could think of you needed. The house was clean and comfortable for me, my boyfriend, and our four dogs. Worth staying!

Great location, close to all outdoor activities, nice deck with hot tub and grill. Spent the weekend climbing and bouldering- plenty of room and pet friendly

It will exceed your expectations!!!! As we walked in, the layout and beauty of the cabin took our breath away. Not only was she the best host I have ever dealt with, she was giving the most helpful responses literally within minutes. To top it all off as we walked into the cabin we all shared a common thought, "I would only stay here next time." She captured West Virginia at its finest; beautiful, polite and peaceful. From the start, we were getting late and Gary and Julie were very understanding and accommodating. They met us at the property and showed us how to use everything. Their instructions were quick, accurate, and made us feel very welcomed. The location is perfect. It's right next to the national park, which you'd have had issues finding parking even early in the morning. We went on a hike and came back to use the outside grill to make steaks and veggies. This place was so relaxing and the rustic cabin let us focus on recharging. Every detail from hand written welcome notes, to binders to find local food/delivery, hiking trails was very thoughtful. I had forgotten a couple essentials and walmart was within 15 minutes of the cabin. This place is perfect for a retreat from the city!! Thank you Gary and Julie!

We loved our stay in the cabin. It was so peaceful. We got visits from deer every evening & shows from the lightning bugs every night. We enjoyed eating our meals on the screened in patio. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax before bed. The twin beds were not very comfortable (& they were also really squeaky). The other beds were fine, though. If you’re terrified of bugs & spiders, this probably isn’t the place for you. They weren’t excessive, but they were regularly visible. Mostly daddy long legs, nothing too scary.

We loved the cabin, it was a perfect weekend getaway close to attractions and food. The property was clean, comfortable, and private.

This place was perfect! It was far enough off the grid providing peace and quiet and soothing nature. We loved this place! It was beautiful inside, clean and user easy. We had no issues. There was even cooking oil and spices in the cabinet and coffee every day. The linens were fresh and clean. The house was tidy and spotless! The decks were amazing and we spent a great deal of family time on the front porch or playing games on the kitchen table. I would give this place 4 out of 4 stars! Just awesome!!!

It's a great place to get away from the busyness of life and spend time reflecting on the goodness of God. We spent a quiet Thanksgiving there. The fireplace was definitely a highlight!

This “Cozy Cabin” was secluded and private in the hills of West Virginia! This quaint cabin is located down a private lane surrounded by beautiful scenery, tall trees, a welcoming front porch! We enjoyed the numerous amenities like the grill, sauna, outdoor tub, and great s’mores on the fire-pit. This cabin has everything you need for cooking and plenty of blankets and towels! So impressed with this cabin and the games provided for a rainy day or late night. This cabin is so close to restaurants and hiking trails. The cabin exceeded or expectations and would stay again!!!

This was our second stay at Jeremy's Cabin, and we couldn't be happier! The location strikes the perfect balance—close enough to town for convenience, yet far enough away to feel like you're truly off the grid. The sound of the running creek adds an extra touch of tranquility that we absolutely love. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this lovely cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!
