Firstly, Yamamoto san’s house is located in a fantastic location. Very close to Sanmachi old village and at the same time quiet enough for you to relax at night. It also has a parking lot right outside so after a long drive you can lie in bed almost immediately. Yamamoto san is an awesome guest, very polite and respond to any questions within 10 minutes. He received us on the day of arrival and also helped us check out when we left. He even carried the luggage for us! Wonderful host. The house is big enough for a family of four and all basic amenities are provided. We particularly enjoyed using the big kitchen and bathroom. The utensils and appliances were reasonably clean when we arrived. Overall, we enjoyed Takayama so much partly thanks to Yamamoto san’s excellent hospitality and kindness. Everyone would enjoy having a great time here when travelling in Takayama.

Takashi-san greeted us from the station and was very friendly. He allowed us to drop us our bags earlier at the accommodation before check in time. He also gave us some great recommendations for food. Narai is a beautiful town and the accommodation is at a very convenient location. Would recommend this place to a friend

First of all, John and Tracy clearly love what they do, and really are pros when it comes to providing hospitality. they made us feel like true guests, embracing our kids and welcoming us around their Christmas tree and fireplace for Christmas morning. The cabin is wonderful, private and surrounded by plenty of space and trees to make it feel it bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the slopes and downtown Hakuba. However you can still walk to Goryu, or catch a quick shuttle bus, and plenty of restaurants are 3-5 mins stroll away. This place is perfect for those that like a little privacy in a gorgeous cabin that is still walkable to restaurants and close to the slopes. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! Even though there was only one shower, having two toilets (one on each floor) and a separate urinal made things very convenient for our group of eight. Taking turns in the bathroom went surprisingly smoothly. The location is fantastic, and the host was very responsive throughout our stay. The only suggestion I have is to improve the quality of the cooking pans, as some seemed unhealthy to use. Overall, it was a great experience!

ご迷惑をおかしてしまう場面がありましたが、ご丁寧に対応して頂きました。 白馬にも近くロケーションと値段も非常に利用しやすかったです。カラオケがあるのは全然知りませんでしたが、思う存分楽しむことができました！ありがとうございました！

Arts and stay was a nice, clean place. The interior design was beautiful and you can tell a lot of thought went into it. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to public transportation. The host was very nice to stay up and wait for our arrival, as well as very responsive.
