High Peak District : locations de vacances dans des gîtes à la ferme

We came up to the area to visit our daughter and granddaughter in Macclesfield and had a wonderful stay at Mill House Farm Cottage. The accommodation, the farm, the location etc were perfect and Lynne couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfasts overlooking the garden, complete with occasional visits to the bird feeders by a woodpecker, started each day perfectly! We definitely hope to stay agian, next time we come to the area.

We stayed in the Manor for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our relations from Australia. We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were a perfect size and could fit us all in for games and entertaining ourselves, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the crockery and glassware we needed, the children loved the games room and the hot tub and the house was beautifully adorned with Christmas decorations. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this characterful house.

Had a fantastic couple of days at Toms place. Great location and an easy walk into town. Tom was a great host and replied to every question quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Beautiful barn conversion in a lovely location. Excellent amenities for families with children. The kitchen was fantastic and well equipped. Paul was responsive to all messages and was on hand if needed for any queries. The hot tub was fantastic. Restaurants within walking distance. Half an hour drive away from some fantastic hikes & waterfalls. We booked relatively last minute for a joint birthday of my partner and our best friend and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for offering such a beautiful hideaway xxx

The stay at the farm in the barn house was beautiful. Me and my fiancé took our 3 dogs and it could not have been anymore perfect. The barn was rustic with character and very cosy by the log burner fire. The scenery and views are stunning, especially in the hot tub. The hot tub BBQ area was enclosed which was ideal, we could let our poochies run around whilst we relaxed in the tub. Richard was incredibly welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. He shown us around his farm and we got to meet his cows. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night! 100% worth the money and will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again Richard!

The barns are absolutely stunning with lovely views, and it's such a wonderful space for friends to gather. We had an amazing weekend, and the final touches added were perfect. Highly recommended.

Outstanding, describes everything about the property, amazing bedrooms, kitchen, lounge area and dining area, very comfortable beds, bedding and towels were clean and fresh. In the kitchen you have everything you need to cook whatever meal you wanted, with the right pots, pans and cutlery. Plenty of off road parking. One great touch was the pool table, a great way to spend an evening in. We would definitely stay here again if in the area, great value for money.

The Piggery was perfect for the R&R that we were looking for. The location was amazing, so peaceful and quiet with spectacular views, made all the more perfect with the log burner and super comfy king size bed.

Lovely place to stay, had everything we needed and in a gorgeous location overlooking the lake. Couldn’t fault it! The hosts even went to the effort to put up balloons and birthday decorations for our stay which was a very nice and appreciated touch.

Lovely and clean with thoughtful additions, like clingfilm to cover leftovers in fridge, tinfoil for oven trays to make cleanups easier. Milk and butter in the fridge and cereals, teas and coffee. The bed was comfortable with lovely soft bed linen. Woken by Mr Blackbird singing 🎶

Very happy with our stay at Teresa’s property. The stables were easy to find and the onsite cafe was a big bonus. The breakfast we had was delicious! We were staying for just one night and as a couple it was perfect for our needs. The kitchenette had everything we needed and the shower room was great. Thanks for the complimentary bath products. We both slept very well and found the bedroom comfortable and warm and cosy. Thank you for having us. It was a very convenient stop off for our journey and we would not hesitate to use it again.

Amazing stay! Truly full of character of the era and if you're into interiors it's really worth spending some time in the barn. Really beautiful and authentic but also felt homely and cosy. Really immersive into nature too with the rain falling on the barn roof at night and the birds tweeting in the morning with the sun coming through the attic windows - poetic. Also if you love cats there is an opportunity for Flossie to join you and she will stay with you the whole time for cuddles. Location is stunning and a really authentic, local pub that does the best pies in walking distance but also many amazing 5 star restaurants, cafes and pubs around the area within a driving distance - would recommend bringing a car. Wish we had stayed longer to explore even more and go on even more amazing walks and adventures, even a few waterfalls nearby. Thank you for a perfect, relaxing stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Anita’s countryside Airbnb! The home was spacious, cozy, and perfect for a wholesome weekend getaway with family and friends. The jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool were a real highlight, making it a relaxing and fun experience for everyone. The outdoor BBQ area was perfect for evening meals, and there was plenty of space for parking. Paul was incredibly friendly, warm, and efficient during check-in, making us feel right at home. Plus, being just 15 minutes from Alton Towers made it the perfect location for a mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend!

Had the perfect weekend here!! Gorgeous little place with lots to do in the area, the house had everything you could need including some very cute sheep outside. The owners were very welcoming and had some great recommendations for things to do.

What a gem! Very accessible property, perfect for anyone with limited mobility, the level access and wide doorways made it an ideal and safe holiday destination. Lesley and Graham have thought of everything when it comes to making it home from home and the breakfast welcome pack of scrumptious local goodies and homemade preserves was a lovely surprise. The cottage was immaculate and a peaceful haven set in beautiful countryside. Charming and restful, and dog friendly as well! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I can’t recommend this enough, mere words can’t do it justice, you need to see and experience it for yourself

What an amazing stay. The Milking Parlour was very clean with everything you could want, including lovely goats as our neighbours. Beautiful walks surrounding the farm. So peaceful and relaxing. The produce in the farm shop was delicious. We made good use of the log burner and extra logs were available to buy. Julia was a welcoming host and available to answer any questions but respected our privavy too. We even enjoyed an evening in the games room playing pool and table tennis.

The place is beautiful and cosy. set in a lovely location in the hills right next to some cattle and sheep. The roads are steep and thin but if you drive with caution they were easy enough to navigate and it just adds to the whole vibe of the location. Highly recommended for a family of 4 like ours and there are some great attractions within a short drive

If you want to truly immerse yourself in the landscape of Brontë country, this place is the dream - the views are breathtaking, and it sits right on the route of the Brontë Way walk. A lot of the fittings (like the wardrobe and window bench) are beautiful as well and add to the character of the place. It's an atmospherically cold and windswept location but you don't have to use the heater very long before the studio warms up, and it retains that warmth well - we never woke up shivering in the night! Simon was really friendly and very helpful with directions, and we felt really well taken care of. We also really enjoyed the studio's selection of books about the area and used them a lot for our walks and trips to Haworth!

Caroline was very helpful and friendly from the outset. We hired Caroline’s place for a surprise for my partner’s 30th birthday and Caroline let us check in slightly early to decorate which allowed us to create a perfect surprise - we were really grateful. Caroline was communicative throughout and helped with recommending a lovely local restaurant (The Red House) - we had an amazing meal. Caroline also recommended a taxi company who were excellent. The granary itself was a beautiful big space and very well equipped. The kitchen area is stunning with a gorgeous terrace overlooking fields and horses. I would love to come back in the summer to make the most of this! The Granary is so comfortable and cosy with plenty of space! The bedrooms are beautiful and very luxurious, it was brilliant to have an en suite with each room. Our stay at the Granary was very special in a peaceful setting. Caroline is an excellent host and on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to stay again!

Perfect place to explore the Peak District. We stay for 2 nights, the apartment was extremely clean, hosts very friendly, and location was very quiet.
