Lovely house in a picturesque surrounding. All the rooms were spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms, which is a rarity. Kitchen amenities were great too. The night skies were stunning due to lack of light pollution. Only slight downside is that the house is very loud. You can hear everyone else moving at night, no matter where they are, but especially people on the upper bedroom levels. So if you are a light sleeper who goes to bed earlier than other people, then earplugs will be handy. I would still 100% stay here again and recommend it to other guests. We were here for work, but it would also be great for just a nice private getaway. Charlestown of Aberlour is a 7 minute drive with a shop, several hotel restaurants and nice breakfast places.

had the most wonderful stay at Tim and Judy’s cottage. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained—clean, cozy. Perfect for anyone who wants to unwind in nature, go for walks, or just chill with some animal friends nearby. I’d 100% stay again!

This was a perfect quiet getaway with a beautiful view, and nice/convenient kitchen and laundry amenities. Bed had a heating mattress which was nice too. It got a bit cold even with radiators, but maybe we were using them wrong… Google Maps routed us incorrectly and getting there at night it was hard to follow Jill’s given instructions, but the instructions were clear. Overall very happy with the place and its amazing value! Look forward to staying again!

We had a magical stay at the cottage! The pictures don’t do justice to it and we highly recommend getting better pictures. We got very lucky with the weather, saw sun, rainbow and snowfall! The place is also aptly located for northern lights sightings. We got amazing sightings from the cottage on two nights. The Aga kitchen is 5 stars in itself! We loved bringing in new years at the cottage with our little baby. The cot and high chair were both super helpful. Thank you Jennifer for being so responsive and helping our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful accommodation which is made and designed with love. From the start the welcome feeling was created by small things like helping us with our luggage, welcome wine and three candy bags with Halloween. Everything was perfect from the fully equipped kitchen, nice TV room, with a lot of games and 2 very big sleeping rooms. The area is great for hiking and sight seeing.

We had a lovely long weekend staying in the cottage. It’s well-equipped, cosy and in such a beautiful spot. Having a couple of fresh eggs and meeting the friendly sheep was a joy! Thank you to Jason and Melanie for being so accommodating.

To the UK traveller used to campervans this RV is enormous! I was concerned that the shower might be a bit small but it's just the hot water tank that is smaller than a house one (completely understandably!). The shower room is compact but it's a normal proper shower room with a cubicle, not a wet room, and a really good shower. The kitchen is well equipped, although the mini oven and hobs are somewhat gentle on the heat. The RV is both easily heated and cooled. The bed is really comfy. WiFi is strong. It's a novelty for sure and retains a vintage feel. It's not something we get in the UK usually and well worth the experience. Good parking, easy to find thanks to the horse. It is on a main road which is very convenient but might be slightly noisy if you were expecting isolated quiet. Ear plugs were available and a good selection of toiletries, snacks and drinks. It is hard to lock but instructions are provided and in all honesty it's probably completely safe to leave it open anyway.

We loved our stay on the farm! My 3 kids were in 7th heaven between the farm walks, lambs, pigs, cows, sheep, goats, horses, and dogs. There was loads to explore and lambing season gave us some extra special lamb feeding moments. The caravan had everything we needed and was a good base to explore from. We loved breakfast with the sheep and tea with the cows out our front window (30 feet from us). My daughter wants to be a pig farmer now. 😆

We loved our stay at Beams. The panoramic views of the ever changing skies are just stunning. Sunrise and the starry skies were definitely highlights of our stay, alongside the viewing of Eagles and a herd of Red Deer. The space is comfortable, warm and the whole place just fills with fantastic light when the sun shines. We loved the layout, furniture, comfortable beds and the home was well equipped with everything you would need. The only thing missing was a bath or hot-tub but the setting and views are the real star of the show and this is one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at.

Came back for a return stay and it was just as great as the last time. Andrew is a super host with great communication I would thoroughly recommend this little gem of a place to anyone.

We had a lovely couple of nights. Wonderful retreat for what we were looking for. Great use of space and appreciated the local knowledge and the very friendly dog!

This is a great place to stay on Skye! The views from the hut are excellent and the stay was exactly as described. I highly recommend!

Private, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for as a base for our hillwalking trip. The cabin has a lovely view of the garden, with lots of birdsong and pretty flowers, which made our stay feel relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed to cook our meals, however I would suggest a two ring burner rather than a single burner for future guests. The interior was spotless - everything looked clean and bedding/linen smelled fresh. We were very pleased with the small selection of treats left for our arrival. Thank you!

Que dire à part … whaou ! Seule y 2 nuits passées chez Anna mais l’impression d’être chez soi ! Trop court séjour tout était parfait ! Une proximité des lieux comme le Loch Ness, Glenfinnan Viaduc (avis aux fans d Harry potter !) , les highlands, l’île de Skye bref point central ! Et quel accueil ! Anna est ADORABLE, le lieu est paisible, la maison est parfaite … notre prochain séjour sera plus long à coup sûr ! Anna encore merci ce fut un plaisir de faire votre connaissance :)

Absolutely gorgeous. Wish we could have stayed longer. We have stayed at numerous AirBnbs over the years and this is the first one that I am determined to return to.

Absolutely loved our stay! The home is new, quiet, clean, so comfortable, and incredibly well appointed. We loved relaxing and watching the view of the water, and seeing the animals on the farm! The nearby village is quaint with a couple restaurants and felt very central to all activities we had planned without being in the noise of a town. Would absolutely come again and highly reccomend. Yasmin is a lovely host with wonderful stories and reccomendations

Our family of three stayed for a couple days at the North Skye Pods and we loved every minute of it. Great location, beautiful scenery, cozy and with everything you need. We really appreciated the opportunity to do laundry (washers and dryers!) as well. Edward is an accomodating host, helpful and friendly. We would definitwly come again!

Such a beautiful place to stay, the relaxing getaway we so desperately needed. the small touches like bread, butter and cheese on arrival was amazing and the little space for a fire pit was fantastic. cosy bed nook, clean comfortable and well equipped living space surrounded by nature. a wonderful weekend away. thank you

I can't imagine staying in a more peaceful and beautiful location. At first we were hesitant to book this place because it wasn't directly next to Portree but after staying here we actually ended up preferring this location because of how private and quiet it was compared to the busier more centrally located spots were. The drive to places we wanted to see went by fast and the route itself was beautiful. The view from the living room was breathtaking, we loved just sitting and looking out over the mountains and fields. We also enjoyed seeing all the sheep. Rooms were very cozy and clean. Plus lots of room for everyone to spread out and have their own privacy.

It was a wonderful home away from home in a stunning location with amazing views. We loved watching the new lambs springing about the fields outside the kitchen window. And that shower….absolutely the best. We enjoyed cooking in Ian’s well equipped kitchen. Very special to wake up before dawn to see a full moon setting over Uig Bay. And then on the last morning there was snow dusting the hilltops. Ian was very helpful with answers to questions. The house was spotlessly clean. We highly recommend it. Thank you for everything Ian. It is a great place to stay.

Beautiful, secluded location. Perfect for a weekend break to explore the Cairngorms.

First time staying in a pod, but it won’t be our last! We weren’t sure if compact living would mean we would have to sacrifice on space or convenience but we needn’t have worried, the pod had everything we needed and more and was surprisingly spacious. It was also extremely cosy and comfortable, with lovely views and a very friendly host. We initially wanted something very remote and isolated but actually knowing that Keith and his family were just next door was a comfort, and we never even saw them after checking in so the place still felt really private. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!
