Wonderful and serene location. It's a great spot for a couple or family of 3. Easy access to Portree and the Isle of Skye. Host was attentive, helpful, and provided a light breakfast and snacks in the pod to help start your day off! As a side sleeper, the mattress was very comfortable and provided a great night's rest. It was exactly what we needed to explore the Isle of Skye!

Absolutely stunning position. Felt very much at home . Jenny very helpful . Very friendly and there if you need her. Most peaceful of positions. Beach 2 minutes walk. Lovely cove round the bay about 10 minutes walk. Very dog friendly. Tongue about 10 minutes drive nice walk to castle . Burrs a must to visit. Coffee shop. Home made pies and cakes and petrol. Accommodation. Lovely. All you need in a cosy wee house. And parking with sheep just strolling by.

Perfect place for two nights of peace. Loved the view, pod and fireplace and everything just as described. Great walking up the glen and village close enough to ride to the pub!

An excellent place with amazing views to stay if you're in Skye or want a base to explore! Cabin was warm, clean and comfortable and the instructions to find it were excellent. Donald and Eileen were great hosts, especially with the short notice booking! I would 100% recommend their place and will look to stay here again in the future!

Cosy, comfortable, well designed cabin with all we needed for our walking trip. Village amenities convieniently close. Easy access to lovely walks. Our 3rd stay at Braemar cabins.

One of the nicest places and hosts we have ever experienced! The chalet has gorgeous views of the Loch, and provides a quiet escape that works perfectly as a rest point after driving through the Isle of Skye. We loved the kitchen as it was well stocked, and were so thankful for access to a clothes washer as well. The best moment occurred though when we woke up to discover our rental car had a flat tire - Andrew the host went and grabbed an air pump, aired up our tire, then GAVE me the pump to keep so we would be able to guarantee that we could make the drive back to Glasgow! This was so nice of him! We will absolutely stay here again when we visit the Scottish Highlands!

Die Suppe und das Brot, die uns erwartet haben, waren wirklich super. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Freundliche Kommunikation via Airbnb, aber gar kein Kontakt vor Ort, obwohl Lisa direkt nebenan wohnt. Man hätte bei Problemen wohl vorbeigehen können, aber es wirkte etwas anonym. Die Einrichtung ist etwas anders als auf den Bildern, aber es war alles da, was man braucht. Gut 15 Minuten Fahrtzeit nach Portree. Ich würde die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

We had an excellent stay at Forbes’ property whilst attending a wedding at nearby Achnagairn Castle (5 mins walk from the property….perfect location!) Forbes met us on arrival to welcome us and show us around the property, which was immaculate! Such a comfortable and cosy place, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and with added touches of luxury in the amenities and thoughtful home comforts provided. I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to book it again.

Had a wonderful time here, not a single negative point at all. Brilliant place to stay, far better than some more expensive holiday lodge type places we’ve tried before. Highly recommend. Was perfect for our dog too

Booked a last minute weekend away and Jessica was so great! Had an issue with our car and Jessica was extremely understanding and flexible with our checkout and I can’t thank her enough. The accommodation is beautiful and so peaceful! Thank you again x

We enjoyed a lovely 2 nights at the cabin. It’s such a cool and cozy unique space, kept perfectly warm and snug with lots of little additional extras all perfectly thought out, like the record player, whisky, brownies and films. The decor and lighting and bird feeder window all adding to the perfect ambience too. There’s lots to do in the local area. We walked to An Lochan Uaine (also known as the green loch) and took a circular higher route back, we took a snowboard lesson just up the mountain and also went on the mountain railway. We also visited Loch Morlich and the Pine Martin Bar several times. Both the cabin and the whole area is absolutely stunning, I would definitely book again. Thank you for creating and sharing this amazing space with us!

A very peaceful, relaxing stay. The cabin is exactly what you'd expect, comfortable with the luxury of the hot tub. My husband and I spent two nights here and in fact the rainy weather made us enjoy the cabin that much more. Thank you.

This was a perfect remote location to explore Cairngorms. We liked the return to this sanctuary and feeling like we could truly relax after long hikes and drives. Well appointed to be able to make meals easy, sleeping restful and researching by the fire how to spend our days cosy and seamless. Lovely touches like board games suitable for 2 people and maps/guides were a welcome touch. The coffee machine was a hit!

We had a great night in this cabin. Jurgita was lovely. The cabin was clean and nice and warm for our arrival. The hot tub and sauna were well used and enjoyed we even enjoyed the ice bath which was an added bonus. The cabin had everything we needed we would definitely stay again . Thanks Jurgita!

Words cannot accurately articulate just how EXTRAordinary Sandra's Airbnb is. Photos do not do adequate justice. This Gem in the Isle of Sky is absolutely the very best experience we have ever had with Airbnb and we Airbnb A LOT! From the start of our journey, Sandra's advice and council on getting to the Airbnb, along with her insights on our desired journey were not only incredibly helpful but selflessly thorough and compassionate in nature. Her clear and informative direction on getting to her Airbnb, along with parking safely and enjoying all aspects of the Airbnb were out of this world and her hospitality is unparalleled. Not to mention, all of the extra sweet touches in the home are like nothing we've ever experienced... hot coco AND marshmallows! Coffee, honey, grains, a variety of spices and everything and more than you would need to enjoy a home cooked meal and settle into a beautiful night. Unbelievable! The local whiskey was a huge favorite of mine along with my wife! A+++++

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und hatte eine ruhige schöne Lage. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Unterkünften hatte man einen Meerblick und eine schöne Übersicht. Allgemein war alles sehr sauber, aufgeräumt und schön eingerichtet. Wir können das Pod nur weiterempfehlen. Victoria war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin die mit Tipps zur Seite stand, wenn benötigt, aber einem auch Raum und Ruhe gelassen hat.

The lodge was perfect, exactly as in the images and nice and cosy. The location was also ideal for a quiet get away with great access to the mountains and the Isle of Skye is a couple hours drive away. Overall Diorbhail’s place was very clean and her communication was quick and clear.

Really enjoyed our stay- great location with scenic views! Gemma was very helpful and prompt in answering our questions- highly recommend this cozy abode! :)

The Atlantics pods was a lovely cozy set up and despite the elements was always warm. Plenty of utensils and a convenient space to prepare food / cook meals. The views from the front door were stunning. With it being out of season, there wasn’t a lot open in the area- just the local Spar for groceries but the walks in the area were all really peaceful and the scenery unmatched. This was certainly the ideal place for fresh air, scenic walks with peace and tranquility. I would happily stay again in the future and will hopefully be back up there soon with my dad to show him around the area!

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut eingerichtet und man hatte alles was man braucht zur Verfügung. Am ersten Tag haben wir Maggie leider verpasst, weswegen sie am nächsten Tag extra noch einmal persönlich vorbeigeschaut hat. Es hat alles gepasst!

Place was beautiful inside and out especially liked the little pond outside was great to walk the dog around for a change of scenery. Very private and peaceful and on clear nights have a lovely view of all the stars. Hot tub was perfect and the place was nicely heated inside especially the bedrooms. Has everything you need to feel right at home. 5/5

Perfect place for a quiet peaceful retreat. Maggi made us feel very welcome and was really helpful during a storm related power outage with hot water for drinks. The hut is small but very efficiently kitted out with all the essentials. Amazing pillows and a very warm cozy duvet make this place perfect even during colder nights. The chickens on site also supply the best eggs for all your eggy needs during your stay. The two large hounds are also very friendly and always asking for a little cuddle. The hut is quite remote and off the track but Maggi’s instructions made it very clear how to find it.
