Moose Lodge was incredible from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hot tub in the back, which quickly became our post-run hangout spot. It offered an excellent view of the valley below, accompanied by the calming sounds of a rushing waterfall, all under a breathtaking view of the galaxy above. The living area was the perfect blend of vintage charm and cozy warmth, providing an open space for the group to gather without feeling cramped. The kitchen was spacious enough to cook every breakfast and dinner in the lodge, saving us a ton of money. The location was conveniently just 17 minutes from Snowshoe, West Virginia, and even closer to Silver Creek. If booking in the winter, it may be wise to have chains on your tires, but we had no issues, even after snowfall. I usually like to explore different Airbnb options when visiting the same vacation spot, but I can confidently say that the next time I’m in Snowshoe, I will be booking with James again.

Staying at Danita’s place was great. We were in the area for work, will book again if we are in the area again anytime soon.

Jennifer‘s place was exactly as described if not better. We reached out to her and brought our dog and the fenced in yard was an excellent addition to the trip. Jennifer was very responsive.

Nice house, close to snowshoe. A few minor issues but the host was responsive and we had a good stay.

We had a wonderful stay. House located at the end of the street providing privacy but ease to get to. How was very cutely decorated and very comfortable with all amenities needed. Proactive and friendly communication from Johanna. We would definitely stay here again.

It was so nice to stay in a home that felt like our home away from home. We also own Basset Hounds, like Olivia and it gave us a feeling of comfort knowing they did too! It was so nice and would definitely stay again.

This condo is perfect for a couple! It’s a quiet and cozy ski-in, ski-out retreat located in Silver Creek with easy parking. You can also take the shuttle to Snowshoe Mountain for even more skiing options. The space is clean, comfortable, and offers a beautiful view of the slopes. The small kitchen was a great bonus, and the fireplace made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was my second time staying at Bryan and Heather's condo. They are always extremely responsive and helpful in addition to having a great place to stay. High recommended and I will book with them again next ski season.

This was perfect for our family over Christmas! The place is spacious, comfortable, well-maintained, and super clean. Larisa was proactive with sending instructions and responded quickly to messages. We had a great time, and would definitely recommend staying here!

This AIRBNB lives up to its motto as being a little bit of heaven both in terms of the rental unit and in terms of the host. The rental unit was absolutely perfect. It has an amazing view of the Appalachian mountains. The unit is perfect for a couple to stay at in terms of accommodations. It’s a short 15 minute drive to Staunton, Va. William and Sherry are wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this AIRBNB. You won’t regret it and it is one that you will want to return to in the future.

Allegheny Springs is a great building right in the village next to the lifts, restaurants and everything else the village has to offer. The amenities within the complex make it special, especially the pool and hot tubs. The unit is beautiful, it has everything I needed for my stay. The bed is very comfortable. The patio faces into the pool area and is accessible from the village entrance which makes it quicker to get in and out of if you'll be spending time in the village. great 1br/1ba unit in a great building.

Beautiful and welcoming space. Quiet and isolated considering it was the basement. The backyard was gorgeous, got up to watch the sunrise on the porch swing with some coffee. Dina was an amazing host and thought of everything to make sure we felt right at home. Definitely recommend the stay especially if you’re trying to find a little peace in your busy schedule!

We stopped in Staunton while driving home for the holidays with our pups. Christi was very responsive, and all her messages were clear and helpful. This was the perfect place for us at our "halfway" point on the road trip. We could let the pups do their business in the backyard (of course, we cleaned up after them as all pet owners should). And the house felt cozy and warm. The king-size bed was super comfortable, and we had plenty of blankets and everything we needed for a quick night's stay. The town of Staunton has lots of history and good places to eat, so we were happy even just driving around checking things out. Christi and her family live in the house above. We could all hear one another a bit between the wood floors. But we didn't mind at all. It was silent once it was time for bed, and we felt very at home. We'll plan to stay here again on our next road trip back to NY.

Donna’s place was absolutely perfect! My girlfriend and I planned a weekend getaway in Staunton, and we couldn’t have chosen a better Airbnb. The space was warm and inviting, with a fantastic selection of books and movies, an unbelievably comfortable bed, and a cozy, laid-back atmosphere. It’s an incredible value for the price, and I highly recommend staying here. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. David even took the time to chat with us and gifted my girlfriend—who hopes to become a wildlife biologist—a book and calendar about Virginia wildlife. Their kindness extended to handling our little mishap when we accidentally had a pizza delivered to their front door (oops!). It was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

We could not be happier and more pleased with our stay at this little slice of heaven! We wanted a peaceful getaway that we could call a home away from home, and our host surely delivered. The cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. All of the amenities made us feel at home, especially being able to have coffee early every morning. The surroundings were just lovely, and our host made it so easy for us to find, even in a place with no cellphone reception! We would highly recommend and certainly intend to come back! 😃🌅🙌

I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the Super hosts that made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable!! We drove 14hrs to stay here and when we parked and stepped out on the property you can hear the soothing sound of the running stream surrounding the property, they had the hot tub turned on and every bit of this place was spotless and cozy!! They did not leave anything out. First time I’ve ever rated an air bnb stay but this place was well deserving of praise.

We stayed to visit Cass Scenic Railroad, and Kristie’s place was comfortable, affordable and it felt so welcoming! I would definitely recommend and cannot wait to plan another trip and another stay here! Kristie was responsive and so helpful to any questions! The environment was welcoming, and comfortable. LOVED IT!!

Cathy was a wonderful host! She provided a bottle of local wine during our stay. She was consistently responsive and friendly in our communications. The place was so cozy would highly recommend!

It was a lovely stay! They had everything we didn't even think we needed! It was a beautiful trip!

The cabin was great. It was perfect for 2 people, but had some nifty ways you could make 4 adults or a family feel comfortable inside. The back porch and the sunrise from the front window was calming. The cabin had all the necessary amenities and more. Parking was easy and the cabin was an easy drive to multiple hiking trails in Monongala National Forest and a tasty local cidery/distillery Swilled Dog Spirits.

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!
