I had a fantastic stay at Wendi’s cabin in the woods. The layout is great, with easy stair access to the charming upstairs bedroom that offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest from every window. It is so peaceful, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Downstairs, the open flow from the living room to the kitchen and bathroom makes everything feel spacious and inviting. Wendy has clearly put a lot of thought into the details, and her eye for design really shines through. During my stay, we experienced an ice storm, the textures in forest were stunning, adding to the cabin's charm. Wendi was impressively responsive, reaching out to help me with a minor issue even after hours. If you’re looking for a charming and beautiful retreat in the woods with a fantastic host, this cabin is definitely the one for you. I highly recommend it!

This little cabin is adorable. Sitting in the hot tub watching the snow fall is so peaceful, the property is just gorgeous. Sean is a great host, would definitely recommend.

This was our second stay at Mike and Liene’s cabin, and it was just as magical as we remembered—if not more so. Nestled in the woods, this retreat is the perfect combination of comfort, peace, and thoughtful design. Every detail has been considered, from the beautifully landscaped grounds to the cozy, well-appointed interior. The hot tub is a true highlight—private, serene, and perfect for soaking under the stars. Coming inside to radiant heat floors and a towel warmer in the bathroom is such a luxurious touch. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped for any kind of cooking you’d like to do, and the entire space feels like a warm, welcoming embrace. Mike and Liene are gracious, responsive hosts who clearly care deeply about creating a special experience for their guests. This cabin has become a true favorite of ours, and we already can’t wait to return.

The views were breathtaking—during the day, we were surrounded by lush nature, and at night, the starry sky was simply magical. The trails on the property were incredible, perfect for hiking and exploring. The location was ideal—easy to find thanks to clear directions from Don, and just the right balance of being close enough to Keen for anything we needed, yet remote enough to feel truly immersed in nature. The kitchen was top-notch with everything we needed, so next time we’ll definitely cook our own meals instead of bringing food. Although I only spoke briefly with Don, he was incredibly kind and welcoming. We can’t wait to return!”

Our stay was peaceful, and we felt at home. The Airbnb was equipped with everything we needed; we loved the collection of old movie CDs, and it was very cozy. However, I would like to mention the strong smell, as well as some dust and spider webs in certain corners. We also arrived when there was little snow left, making the parking area quite muddy. Overall, we loved our stay, but I don’t believe the cleaning fee was worth it.

Collin and Donna were exceptional hosts. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by breathtaking wilderness, this is the place to be! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the house was. The amenities, including the hot tub and jet tub, were a perfect touch—especially the bed, which was incredibly comfortable. Collin and Donna were highly responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions throughout my stay. I’ll definitely be returning and can’t recommend this place enough!

Lucas and Louisa go above and beyond to make the cabin and your stay as comfy and cozy as possible! Cozy space with great views with modern amenities. The nearby towns had cute shops, and the community as a whole was incredibly friendly!

Where to start, such a beautiful location, amazing views from every angle. Kathleen you have created the perfect little cottage, it feels secluded yet close to everything. Very convenient location, everything seems like it's a 10 to 15 minute drive, activities, grocery or just somewhere to be at peace. One of my favorite things was the five minute drive to the local CO-OP, it was such a change up to feel so involved with the local foods and produce provided, here from the Massachusetts south shore its something that we do not get a chance to experiance. Me and my girlfriend came for our anniversary and I'm not sure it couldve been anything less than perfect. Every single thing about the location, the ammenities, the activites, even Kathleen could not have been more transparent, she was very responsive during the booking proccess and more when we were on location, she stressed that if we needed anything to let her know. This is without a doubt somewhere that we are going to stay again.

We had a wonderful weekend at Marty's cabin. The cabin was very cozy, clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, watched the birds at the feeders and went into Woodstock and beyond for an afternoon adventure. It was so nice to be in a place that was so warm and well cared for. This house was the perfect place to "unplug" and recharge. We will definitely be back again!

For the first time in a cottage was very good experience. we love the the location peaceful and quick. sometimes we need that little peace and quietness, but also close to the downtown with good restaurants and everything did you need close to 10 minutes. My husband and I we enjoyed it we just ordered food we spent those two days in peace and cozy cottage. Thanks Dennis!

We can’t say enough good things about this quintessential cabin in the woods. It was so cozy, equipped with anything you could possibly need to cook, and the bed and linens were so comfortable. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the screened in porch since we were winter visitors but could imagine enjoying that area a lot in the warmer months. My boys loved their twin beds, lincoln log building set, and coloring sets. We airbnb A LOT and have never booked a home a second time and we are already looking forward to returning to this cabin in the Spring. Only needed Cara once and she was immediately responsive. The grounds are very private and we look forward to continuing to explore the town of Sunapee and trying a walk from the cabin to the lake on our next trip. It was SO quick and easy to get to Mt Sunapee for a full day of skiing. Our entire family can’t wait to return!

We had a great time at Molly's cabin. We were looking for a quiet stay and we had that. Lots of walking and hiking. The cabin was just as described snd Molly was a fantastic host. Thank you Molly!

Being able to stay right on the lake was so nice. The use of the paddle boards and canoe was a bonus.

We absolutely LOVED staying in Bonnie's cabin. The woods were so quiet and peaceful. The home was so spacious and fun, and clean!

Olivia’s place was clean and a convenient location to stay for our ski trip to Okemo. We stayed with 2 dogs and 2 adults, and that large mud room was a great amenity for the pups and to hang our ski stuff after a long day on the mountain. We stayed in mid-March, and as others have mentioned, the road leading to the place was a little tough to navigate as we faced some rain during our stay. Luckily we have an AWD car and brought it based on the reviews. We did get more comfortable navigating the road after the first couple days, but it did make us want to travel to and from the place as little as possible. Just something to be aware of, but overall the place served its purpose and was a good base camp.

Stephanie’s cabin is a perfect secluded getaway in the middle of the woods. Nobody else uses the road the cabin is on, and it’s very quiet and peaceful there. The only noises you hear are the rustling of chipmunks surrounding the cabin, You might be visited by a gaggle of turkeys, they left some of their feathers at the front door. Other than that the cabin is also nice inside with basic amenities and electricity. Tv with some classic dvds and some board games. There is no insulation but two heaters if you don’t mind the cold. Overall a great getaway.

My friends and I are photographers who make an annual fall getaway. Mike's place was beyond what we hoped for! It started with great communication--Mike answered any and all questions very quickly and offered additional suggestions of places to go and things to do. The house was located way off the beaten path on a very private road, right on a large pond. The scenery was gorgeous and we didn't really even have to leave the property to find beauty! We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch with it's fire table in the evening! Hopkinton is a beautiful small town that we enjoyed exploring! We hated to leave, but all of us look forward to booking this amazing place again very soon!

We had such a lovely stay for my birthday weekend. Jonathan’s place was exactly as described. A great way to escape the city! Had a nice guide to the house with instructions on how to light the fireplace and work certain things around the house. Such a beautiful and peaceful stay!

Jim was a great host, the place was exactly as described. The instructions were detailed and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. Such a peaceful little spot on the pond. The sauna was a huge highlight for us. Service can be a bit spotty- just a heads up if you’re planning to visit but WiFi was included and we had no issue with it. Looking forward to visiting again when it’s warmer!

Had a great stay at this cabin for an overnight ski trip to Mt. Sunapee, a short drive away. The host was quick to respond when I needed help checking in. Plenty of space for 3 of us.

Overall, a very nice property. Plenty of space for the five of us to spread out (four adults, one child), and it had a few areas for all of us to be together (dining/living space, game room, movie theater). Our child had a blast with the ping pong table and theater. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. Close to Lake Sunapee and Sunapee ski area. Not a whole lot else around, but isn't that the idea!

Cousin’s cottage was very comfortable and quiet neighborhood, which allowed me to work remotely easily. Internet worked great and the house had everything we needed for our month long stay!! Would highly recommend.
